Terrible. Ordered for pickup through the app and it was my first time doing so. From my understanding, order for pickup means ordering in advance, they prepare your food, and you are in and out of the location once you get notified the order is ready. But NO, at chick-fil-a, you order, then you have to go to the location and check-in. After you check-in is when they start to prepare the food. So I checked in about two minutes away, just getting off the freeway. The drive-thru line was super long and there were crowds of people standing outside, I assume all in the same boat of order for pickup (but I also read in other reviews there is no dine-in so that could also be it). But nevertheless, ordering for pickup should be an easy process. I parked for at least 20 minutes and nothing, no notification yet, and not even a time estimate. I called customer service and asked if I can cancel and I couldn't because I had already checked in. I asked for a refund, and the person on the phone told me a request has been sent to the location. I eventually left. I checked in at 1:57 pm, and I left the area around 3:45 pm to which the app still said my order was being prepared. I never got a notification about my order anymore, and when I open the app, it doesn't show any current orders. So I'm really hoping I get a refund. read more

Also if you are doing mobile orders and only found out about this after you gets home, too bad. They could not just refund you for the burger over the phone. I have always found Chick-fil-a staff to be polite and personable. Here is the same. Since the pandemic this place has picked up in business. To help the influx of cars in the drive thru they have routers traffic by means of cones, barricades, and signs that has helped flow traffic smoothly and not bleed out on to the busy street. This along with several slotted ordering spots for drive thru guests has helped so that by the time you are at the pick up window your food is ready. VERY EFFICIENT, if only others aka McDonalds could do the same. Though I would still pick Chick. The meals are better and love the kids menu. This is a casual fast food restaurant famous for their chicken sandwich and their plethora of dipping sauces. I came here on a Thursday night around 8pm. I ordered ahead of time on the app and clicked on the option for the restaurant to start preparing my order when I was 5 minutes away. When I got there, I noticed the drive-thru line was pretty busy too. I thought my order would have been ready but I had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes which was quite disappointing. COVID take out review: Haven't been back to chikfila in a few years and was suddenly craving a chicken sandwich that was a break from the much salt and oil used by another famous popping chicken sandwich gas station chain up the street. When you first pull into the shopping center, you'll see lines from the drive through into the streets during lunch but dont be discouraged because the line goes pretty fast as there's a lot of staff to help. It didn't take too long to receive my order and it's nice that they take note of the vehicle you're in and bring it out to you when it's really crowded. A huge plus with the safety and cleanliness here. They've always been pretty clean but they are all wearing gloves and masks during these times which makes me feel safe. Everything is nicely packaged in the bag with straws and napkins and arrives home nice fresh and crispy. A star off because I feel like they're very reserved on the sauces you can get. I always feel shy asking for an extra sauce and when I do, for some reason I end up feeling ashamed but maybe that's just me. I came here on Friday, 1/17/2020 at around 8 pm and the place was packed. Luckily, I was able to find a table. I checked in on the dine in my mobile app to order my food. First, it took about 20 minutes for our food to be given to us. However, the most disappointing aspect was the food itself. I ordered the chicken sandwhich, chicken nuggets, and waffle fries. All the food was not only soggy, but it was also not warm. This has been the worse experience I have ever had at a chik fil a. The food was terrible. I don't understand what happened, but in the past, chik fil a did a great job with these food. This time, however, was a huge disappointment. The waffle fries were not even filled all the way to make it a large and it was so soggy and bland that you did not want to eat it. It took us about 10 minutes to catch the attention of one the staff because they were running around everywhere and the line was too long to go to the cashier. Finally, we were able to let a staff member know about this so they could bring us new fries, but the next one she brought had the same problems, so we just gave up. It makes me sad to have to leave this unpleasant review for a business I once loved dearly. Over the past few years, Chick-fil-A just hasn't been quite the same. From unfriendly staff and incorrect orders, to smaller and smaller portions. I really do not understand their steady and rampant decline. So with that being said, today I was in the area and I found myself starving. I haven't been to this location so I decided I would give it a try. I placed my order through the mobile app and keyed in the option to pick it up curbside. When I got to the restaurant, I noticed that they did not have any curbside parking. I parked and asked an employee to which their answer was "we don't offer curbside parking". Strange, as that's an option within the app. Anyways, I was told to wait in the waiting area outside (as the inside of the restaurant is still closed to the public) and that someone will call my name when the order is ready. 25 minutes after I placed my order someone finally called my name. What was strange was that none of the employees offered their signature "thank you". The employees all looked unhappy and stressed out for some reason. I opened the bag to make sure everything was there, which there wasn't. I let the employee know that I was missing an item I ordered. She had me bring up my order on the phone to which I replied, this order tag on the bag states the missing item not in the bag. She still needed to see my receipt (so very strange since the order ticket on the side of the bag listed my missing item not inside the bag). Once she verified my receipt she asked me to wait a few minutes. 5 minutes later she came back out with my other item I had ordered. So I get home, open my bag, look at the chicken sandwich container (that the tag states the correct item I ordered), open it up and guess what....they gave me the wrong sandwich. At this point I just had to laugh. I mean really? Once again Chick-fil-A, the last few years things have just gone downhill. I live 20 min away from this location so I decided to call the store and speak to the manager. I called three times, with each attempt a different employee putting me on hold, only for the call to disconnect a few minutes later. The last person I spoke to on the phone literally said to me "you should check your order before you leave"....LOL...WOW. This location obviously does not care about their customers, as well as completing orders correctly. I decided to check out their Yelp page, and it appears that over the past year, a majority of the reviews are 1 star which state similar complaints to mine. Looks like Chick-fil-A has lost my business. For now on, Ill just head on over to Popeye's and get a chicken sandwich that is double the size, half the price, and is always correct in my experiences.
