We're originally from California and moved to Florida a little over a year ago, and ever since then we've definitely been craving The Habit. We were so excited to stumble upon this location! One of the first things we noticed was that it wasn't busy at all -- which honestly shocked us (in the best way). Back in California, every Habit location always seemed packed at all hours of the day, so this felt like a treat. I ordered the Teriyaki Char with crispy green beans, and my husband got the Double Char meal with fries. Somehow, the food tasted even better than what we remember from California! My burger was cooked to a perfect medium -- which is rare to find at a fast-casual spot -- and it made such a difference. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, Danielle, who was incredibly friendly -- and funny enough, she's originally from California too! Small world! Every employee we encountered was welcoming, kind, and made sure to greet us when we arrived and wish us a good night when we left. The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, which we really appreciated. Overall, such a wonderful experience. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in the Clearwater area!

I'm not really sure why. I ordered the single charburger with cheese, fries and a Pepsi. Sadly, the burger was nothing special. No better to me than Whataburger or Burger King. For a flame grilled burger, Seminole Gyros and Subs is far superior for the same price. Culver's is better as well, for the same price, although it's not flame grilled. Queen Bee: Pig Out Burger...think a Quarter Pounder with cheese deluxe with bacon. THIS bacon was actually candied though. There was modern pop and some Christmas music playing overhead and a few simple Christmas decorations up too. As it was a midweek midday when we stopped in, there wasn't a large crowd either. As is usually so in places such as these...why yes: we sat at the bar! Shayna was/is a good, solicitous barkeep. She also had to take care of all the tables in the bar area, so she was a busy young lady the whole time. Oh, BTW: remember that loyalty program I told you I wasn't gonna bother with? What an incredibly disappointing experience after being a loyal customer for over a year…read more I have consistently visited this location and regularly order the large tub of Classic Chicken Salad through the drive-thru. One of the small things I always looked forward to was the sugar cookie that traditionally came with it -- something that made loyal customers feel appreciated. Today, I picked up my usual order and noticed the sugar cookie was missing. When I politely asked about it, the manager, Ms. Rodriguez, bluntly and rudely told me, "Now you have to pay for it," with absolutely no courtesy, explanation, or appreciation for someone who has supported this location for over a year. It wasn't even about the cookie -- it was the dismissive attitude, poor customer service, and complete lack of care toward a repeat customer. A simple explanation or a little kindness would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling brushed off and disrespected. Customer loyalty clearly means very little here. Sadly, after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Very upsetting and disappointing treatment.
