I was craving In N Out after a round of golf at Encinitas Ranch. This did not disappoint! Service was friendly and efficient. We beat the lunch rush on a Saturday at 11:30 am. I ordered a double double cheese burger animal style, extra lettuce, extra tonatoes, and a whole grilled onion. I got my food within 10 minutes. Tables were spotless clean and after we ate a friendly worker came and collected our trash and trays! Things got quite a bit busier by 12:00 pm when we were leaving and the drive through was insane - almost out the parking lot so keep that in mind when timing your visit.

One of my favorite In-N-Out locations in San Diego. While the parking lot can be difficult to access when the drive-thru is long, the line inside the building is usually short. The restaurant is always clean and well-lit. My go-to order is a cheeseburger, no onions and protein style which is the lettuce wrap. This location also salts the fries better than other In-N-Outs that I've been to. Always recommend the good quality burgers here!

Decided to grab dinner here after visiting Solana Beach. I must say this quite possibly may be the most efficient In N Out that I've ever visited. I went through the drive thru and there were close to thirty cars deep. To my surprise I was in and out of there in less than that amount of time. My family was hungry. We made it home in 4S Ranch and chomped down all the food. Thanks In N Out for doing such a great job! Be back soon.

Our favorite In&Out in North County. The drive thru can take time, but almost every In & Out drive through does. Incoming dad joke...Rarely are you in & out...which is a testament to how delicious the food is paired with the reasonable prices. They pay their employees well and do charity so maybe not as evil as other fast food restaurants. We love ordering the fries well done! Try it next time

Ole reliable. Price have gone up but are still better prices than Chick-fil-a or 5 guys.

On Veteran's Day I headed out to In-N-Out Burger in Encinitas to take advantage of the free meal they offered vets. Went through the drive-thru and was assisted by a very efficient and polite employee. He thanked me for my military service and confirmed that my lunch was going to be free. I ordered a Double Double burger, fries and a drink (7Up). The burger was a mouthful and consisted of two beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and special sauce. It was delicious and I really loved the extra cheese and onions.. it gave the burger texture and made every savory bite enjoyable. The crispy fries were delicious and the cool, refreshing cup of 7Up was the perfect way to top the meal off. Overall, I was thankful and appreciative to In-N-Out Burgers for the free meal and for recognizing those of us who served iin the military.

This In n Out location was amazing. I should preface, we've only been to this location one time, so this maybe a fluke? When we went here around 8pm, there was no line to order and only a few people waiting for their order. The drive through line was really short as well. We ate inside and were able to find a table for 6 people without waiting. All of this is really unusual for any In n Out we've been too. If we have time during this SD trip, we might swing by to see what the wait is like during a different time of day. The food is good, as you'd expect from In n Out. The employees were friendly and gave fast service. Impressed by this location and will try it again.

This In-N-Out location delivers the classic, reliable experience fans know and love. The burgers are always juicy and flavorful, and the fries are perfectly crisp. The spot can get busy, especially during peak hours, but the service is efficient and the quality remains consistent. It's a solid go-to for a quick, satisfying burger fix anytime you're in Encinitas.

Food good, ambiance cool, the real hero's are the staff. When I was visiting, a full boys lacrosse team was eating dinner. The staff kept it cool amongst the chaos and got our order out in a timely manner.

The ambiance....super cool! We went with the recommendations of the counter gal, who was super friendly, she did not steer us wrong! Hubs had the firebird sandwich, and his verdict...delicious! I had the little pecker which came with 3 chicken tenders, biscuits (with THE best honey butter) and fries (sooo good)! Dogs are welcome at any table (both inside and outside), which was a huge plus since we had our pup with us. The location is easy to get to, pretty much right off the 5 freeway. We will definitely be back!

My usual order (to share between 2 people) is the half bird (5 pieces of chicken) and the mini biscuits with miso maple butter. The mini biscuits are tasty and moist, and the miso butter complements them well, adding the perfect amount of sweetness! However, both of the chicken thigh pieces were quite dry. The restaurant provides a self-serve sauce bar with plenty of sauce options. They also provide large paper towel rolls at each table as well as multiple sinks located around the restaurant so that it is easy to clean your hands after eating! The servers are very attentive.

And our server was fantastic. So why, you might ask, only 4 stars in my review. Two reasons: 1). Management has prohibited giving a splash of a beer for someone to sample. Bottom line is that I wanted to order a pint of beer, but I wanted a splash of a couple of beers to try to make my decision. They refused, saying that one must buy a 5oz taster if one wants to taste the beer. I find that policy offensive. In the end I bought a taster to taste the Chuuurch, and then bought an additional pint after. It just seems nickel and dimey, and would be asking to an ice cream place not allowing one to sample their ice creams before buying a cone. I hope management reconsiders this policy. 2. My wife got the Hot Mess Fries and was disappointed not only in the flavor, but also in the misleading advertising. On the menu it specifically said that there was bacon in the fries, but in fact what they put on the fries was either chunks of ham or "Canadian bacon" (which as we all know is a very different thing from "bacon"). If they were or of regular bacon, the kitchen should have told the server this so he could have asked her if she wanted ham as a substitute. And, of they always use ham instead of bacon, them the menu needs to be changed to reflect that.

BIERGARDEN @ ENCINITAS…read more Parking can be a little difficult since this spot is located right on the main strip in Encinitas. There's parallel street parking throughout the area, so you might get lucky and find a spot nearby. I ended up parking on one of the side streets, which worked out perfectly. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was definitely busy. We had to wait a little while for a table because several tables still needed to be cleaned before they could seat new guests. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and we were seated as soon as they could. It did take about 15 minutes before a server was able to come over and take our order, but the restaurant was completely packed, so it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. After spending the day at the beach, we were really just in the mood for drinks. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which can be served with Tajín, sea salt, or no rim at all. It was really good and definitely on the stronger side, which I appreciated. My only complaint was that there was a bit too much ice, but the flavor itself was great. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, large open windows that let in plenty of fresh air, and a fun, lively vibe that makes it a great place to relax after a beach day. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ambiance and cocktails, just be prepared for a little wait if you visit during peak hours.

I wonder if this is a location on eBird. Yes, I am a dork. I came here years ago while on a business trip and randomly found this place and loved it here. So when a date suggested we come here, I took a look at the venue and remembered what an awesome brewery this is! Date gets some brownie points for chosing this spot, maybe this could go somewhere haha. Parking is a situation here. But if you go past the restaurant, there is some parking on the road and in small lot meant for those enjoying nature. I felt bad taking one of these spots. There is paid public parking on the corner before the restaurant and valet is available at this brewery. I need to figure out another way to get here... On a Sunday afternoon, place had people but it wasnt mobbed. Baseball game and Del Mar horse races were showing on the TVs. But, don't come here to watch TV, look outside! I saw some very good bird action, including an egret doing some weird strutting in the lush greenery. I am bummed I forgot to bring my binoculars but I will be back here again soon with binocs ready! I started off with a hefeweisen and that was good, date had a Mexican lager x 2. I had the ceviche (pretty good) and had the aioli on the side. Date had a sandwich of some kind and copious amounts of fries. It took a lot of will power for me to not have any of those fries, they looked so yummy! I also had a watermelon beer, this had hints of watermelon flavor and I enjoyed it. Great spot for large groups too as there were a few large parties sitting in the "outside" space. Hostess initially asked if we wanted to sit "inside" or "outside," and I was confused as it all looked like outside to me haha. I guess this is SoCal, everything is open air. This is a nice spot to have convo, very spacious, lots of nice tables, we sat at a high top. I love perching higher up, kinda of like a bird haha! Waitresses here were all very good, some very cute too (eye candy is always appreciated). Overall, a really fun way to spend a Sunday summer afternoon! I'll be back!

The restaurant is really loud when crowded and you can only talk to the person right next to you, but that worked ok in a group of 7 anyway--we just had multiple mini conversations. If you're planning a large group gathering, you might have to play musical chairs to catch up with everyone, unless everyone has naturally loud voices that carry. Most of the people in our group ordered beers, but I ordered a nonalcoholic prickly pear hibiscus ginger beer which was ok--pretty subtle, but it quenches the thirst all the same. I ordered the Farmer's burger (black bean) with added avocado and a side salad which comes with a lemon vinaigrette. I had to eat it with a knife and fork after removing the top bun. Very tasty. My daughter ordered crispy shrimp tacos which she really enjoyed. Most people ordered the backyard burger which looked pretty good--choice of fries or side salad. Freddy our server was friendly and helpful. Overall a good dining experience!
