We are greeted promptly and kindly, we have been welcomed to modify our items/meals without feeling as though doing so is an inconvenience or an annoyance...and believe me.....my family can find a way to modify just about anything(‍) AND every time we do change something, or food arrives as ordered/perfectly. Went here yesterday for breakfast. This CFA does NOT have the pandemic figured out like other locations in SD County. Instead of having staff come out and take your order and payment by your car while you wait, this location was operating normally like a Jack in the Box or equivalent. Everyone paid at the window and received their order at the same window. This took forever - triple the wait time compared to other locations. When I grabbed my order and went to look inside the bag, the order was fulfilled incorrectly, an all-time first for any CFA I've ever been to. And I was charged for what I actually ordered, which was more expensive. I submitted a complaint on the CFA website. read more

I love having breakfast here! Their biscuits are out of this world! They are buttery and absolutely delicious. They only make a certain amount everyday so when they run out they run out, even if breakfast is still being served. I usually get the #1 breakfast combo which comes with a chicken biscuit, hash browns and a drink. The chicken is always cooked perfectly; juicy and tender.m and the chicken batter is thin and not greasy. The hash browns are fresh and tasty. I also love their drink selection... they have a ton of sodas to choose from, plain and chocolate milk, fresh brewed sweetened and unsweetened iced tea, and two types of fresh squeezed lemonade! I ordered breakfast at 10 AM, waited 30 minutes for my food, never received it so I went inside to check what's happening. They said they never got my order even though I got charged and got an email confirmation. I showed them my receipt and they checked their system, and they never received it on their end. Since it was already 10:30 they couldn't make my meal anymore (i ordered a breakfast item) so they just refunded me. Outstanding customer service here. I watched pretty much awestruck as the manager, Makenzie, de-escalated an irate customer. It was magical. The crew was obviously impressed also and one young crew member caught my eye and said, "She's amazing!" I had stopped in to buy chicken noodle soup for my elderly mother who lives at one of the memory care facilities down the road and who had stopped eating a few days earlier and I thought I'd try to get her to eat the soup. I started telling the young woman behind the counter what it has been like the last 3 years with my mother's dementia. I realized after about a 10 minute soliloquy that she had let me unload and vent. She was able to connect with me on a more personal level and after months of believing that nobody really cares, she literally helped to restore my faith. Sounds corny, but all true. I ordered chicken nuggets. I got the grilled but really wanted the fried. My granddaughter said she would eat them anyway. Halfway done the bucket of chicken there was a big. I went back to the store and they told me the big was from my house not from them. I explained how could a bug get to the bottom of the bucket and she didn't see it flying around. I have always enjoyed CFA's food and service, but I won't be returning to this location until this pandemic is under control. My last curbside experience caused me to question the level of sanitation in response to COVID-19. When the server came to my car window with my order, she was not wearing gloves and her mask was under her nose. I can't take any chances with Lupus. So I probably won't eat out at all after this. I don't feel comfortable putting my life in some stranger's hands. I shouldnt have gone those last few times. So many food companies claim to have taken measures to be more sanitary. In reality, the level of sanitation depends on who is working that shift. Under normal circumstances, I've always received great service and the food was always hot and orders correct. I gave 2 stars because masks and gloves are exceptionally important to me. read more

I never eat fast food unless I'm visiting other places that have some notable chains that we don't have in NY. I was glad I finally got to try this place, as the stuff is pretty great for fast food. We tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, reminiscing for the old days in high school when I used to eat the same garbage at Wendy's everyday, and luckily this one was way better. The chicken didn't taste too too fake, and it was nice and hot and well put together. We also got Also, not only was the food tasty, but the Book Of Mormon-looking staff was friendlier and more well-versed in customer relations than many of the expensive, formal restaurants I've been to. For a quick, cheap meal on the go, you could do a lot worse than the tasty chicken here. read more

Setting politics aside, Chick Fil A is for me a guilty pleasure. I love the Chick Fil A sauce, and their milkshakes (specifically the cookies n cream) are fantastic. However, I had a less than stellar experience at this location on my most recent visit. First, I tried to order the Chick Fil A Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe, but I was told they were out of pepper jack cheese and she suggested I go with provolone or American. Huh? At 5:30 pm on a Saturday? You got a VONS, Ralph's, Trader Joes and Sprouts all within shouting distance - they all have pepper jack cheese slices if the restaurant is undersupplied. I'm not sure what happened and hopefully this was an isolated instance, but I've never heard of McDonald's claiming they are out of, say, bacon... I'm just sayin. Then when I said that given the lack of pepper jack I'd do the regular Chicken Sandwich Deluxe instead, it was like I said a secret code. "Oh, you have that coupon, right?" No - what coupon? Huh? Nope, full price for me. Apparently I'm the only one not in the know. Chick Fil A is a nice change of pace from other fast food options that have more history in the San Diego market but I wish it would stay away from polarizing political issues, which make it harder for me to get buy-in from my wife to go there. Thanks a lot... Hopefully this location, too, will raise its game. I'll focus on the food, which I really enjoy. read more

I'm generally not a fast food fan, nor a fan of southern food, so it's surprising that I actually enjoy this place. I usually order the grilled chicken club sandwich with a side salad and unsweetened tea. So it seems that there are several somewhat healthy options. And for my girls I usually get either grilled chicken nuggets (solid breast meat) or a grilled chicken sandwich. But the biggest reason I'm a fan is the incredible level of customer service. Every order is taken with a smile and every request is met with "My pleasure". I really believe that there is a genuine spirit of customer service. Possibly the best dining experience we have ever encountered. And being a guest director for restaurants, this place was far above and beyond most restaurants in any capacity. The only reason I gave this an extra star was because the Team Lead that I talked to tonight about the terrible customer service I faced was very understanding and sweet. She said she would bring it up in the next meeting, but considering the other reviews on their customer service as well as my own experience in a customer service position, I personally don't think she will bring it up and just said that out of common courtesy to avoid conflict. Nonetheless I appreciate her effort even for that, as this shows she has at least some type of customer service training. Like the other reviews said they need to have a better drive through method. All of the Chick Fil A's have their drive throughs extremely organized and self sufficient, and I think this location needs improvement. They also need to be more specific on where to pull up when the food needs extra time to be prepared or cooked. The employee vaguely pointed to a parking space that was pretty hard to notice. I waited there and saw three cars pass by me while I waited and was only waiting on two spicy chicken sandwiches a la carte, no fries or anything. Finally I literally pulled up and around into the restaurant which only took me like a copule of seconds and immediately she got very defensive with me which made me confused and left me frustrated. I understand that the kitchen and rush can be stressful, but in order to avoid miscommunication you need to be very specific with a customer as to where they are parking and going if you are making them wait, as well not getting an attitude with a customer over a sandwich. It is a SANDWICH, not a heart transplant organ. AI wanted was to pick it up since it wasn't delivered to me, I didn't want to start world war 3 with the poor girl. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews about this location? Most bad reviews were given for a particular menu item that didn't taste as good as the customer thought it sounded! I took my son here for a quick bite and the food was good, consistent w/what you expect from CFA and the customer service was outstanding!! We sat for 30 minutes and they checked to see if our meal was okay, if we needed a refill, and then again to see if we needed anything else. I also sat and watched a young employee friendly welcome everyone who walked in the door with a smile and greeting. Their ability to connect with their patrons while providing excellent customer service as a fast food place is what sets them apart and what keeps us raving, loyal fans!! read more
