The self-service fountain drink area smelled strongly of mildew or old sponges, and the counter was very sticky and wet. I understand a mess during a lunch rush, but the lingering odor was a big turn off. I ordered a White Chicken Parm, and the chicken was unpleasantly rubbery in some areas- I regretfully had to spit out a piece, which I genuinely try not to do out of respect. Pasta was also too salty for my taste. The menu description also lists broccolini, but the reality was more of regular broccoli that was also soft to the point of being slightly mushy. I'm hoping the best for this restaurant, and also hope that this may have been an off day since there are recent good reviews; but in the meantime, I'll be exploring other Vintage Park options for lunch. - Ambiance: 2/5 - Food: 2/5 - Service: 4/5

We walked in well before closing time -- almost 30 minutes early -- and were completely unwelcome from the moment we stepped inside. No greeting, no basic courtesy. I placed an online order for my son's meal. However, the team members canceled my previous order because they wanted to leave instead of assisting me. I paid for the meal, but I received nothing in return. This is unacceptable, especially since I wasted my time, money, gas, and mileage on my vehicle to be denied service. As I was pulling up, the drive-thru was closing. I tried to flag the outside employees, but they ignored me. I expect a resolution to this matter immediately. read more

I had to stop with my order at least 3 times while she spoke with a food deliver driver, another cashier, and a line cook in the back... only to be followed up be the casher (at the top of her lungs) saying I need a "bill check" after I handed her a $50 bill for my order of $47.75. Almost as if cash was a rare commodity. During this process, she did briefly stop having 3 conversations while assisting me, but had to literally step to the back of the store to verify the fifty dollar bill was not counterfeit. I can't imagine how this would play out in the customer service experience and timeline if this is necessary every time a customer pays in cash for an order. I left the store feeling like a transaction vs. a customer from out of state who makes it a point to enjoy Cane's Chicken when I'm in the area. Cane's you can do better.
