The waffle fries taste great, and I enjoyed the way the chicken sandwiches tasted. The chick-fil-a sauce complimented the food.

This is the first time I've been in this location, but have used the drive through a few times. I suggested coming between 11-11:30 or else the parking lot will be a wretched hive of horrible drivers. I came in today to specifically try the NEW MAC AND CHEESE! It did not disappoint at all! I ordered the SMOKEHOUSE BBQ BACON sandwich and substituted the waffle fries for the new mac and cheese. Only had to wait a few minutes for my lunch cause the timing was perfect! MAC AND CHEESE was really good! Melty and hot. Perfect balance of noodle and melty cheese. Can I order it by the pound? SMOKEHOUSE BBQ BACON SANDWICH was also good. This was the first time I've gotten grilled chicken sandwich (besides the wrap) from Chic-fil-A. I usually get nuggets (the best chicken nuggets IMO) It seems likes it's marinated in Italian dressing? Amazing stacked with lettuce tomato and bacon, and sweet BBQ sauce. I had to add a little extra from a bbq sauce packet for a more enhanced bbq flavor though. Pile it on Chic-fil-A!! It's a BBQ sandwich! Customer service is great, as it is at every location. At this location, Rappi and Vicki were great help! One should comprehend why they are America's favorite fast food chain. So happy they introduced mac and cheese to their menu!!! Definitely closest one for me on my route in Irvine, but not the most convenient drive thru flow, which is why it gets 4 stars. read more

Yawns ... I love the food here but today the staff was the most worst experience i ever had. I've been driving around all day, i'm tried and hungry. The staff at Chick-fil-A are always super friendly and helpful. So much so that it almost puts you on your defenses. Defensive like "Do they know something I don't?", "Does this dress make me look fat?", "Should I have taken the red pill versus the blue pill?" The food is pretty straightforward. I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Fries. Everything tasted fine. This particular location was clean and my fear of getting stabbed only occupied my mind a meager 10%. Had a great experience here this morning. Chik-fil-a at Woodbury town center was considerably busy being today is Labor Day. My girlfriend and I ordered at the drive through and our order was taking just a bit longer than normal - but still not very long at all. Adam was assisting at the window and took time to ask us how our day was going. We are headed to the beach for the day off and Adam was very friendly and maintained nice conversation while keeping the work flowing and helping the staff that had questions. I really appreciate the small gesture while the restaurant was so busy. Busy is better than boring and small wins achieve victory. Thanks Adam! So I tried the New grilled chicken nuggets. $6.35 gets you 12 nuggets... The enticing grill marks were on all the nuggets but one. In fact, the one without the grill marks can hardly be considered a "nugget" (see photo). I was a little upset for this stow away sliver of chicken taking the space of a full size nugget. Sigh ... The nuggets tasted good, but it didn't taste like the chicken grilled in the backyard; it was a bit salty, and had a marinate flavor more than anything. Since chick-fil-a was closed yesterday, my daughter and I have been craving a sandwich. The advertisement on the 5 fwy reminded us again. We googled the nearest store and it brought us here. Menu seems to be limited to chicken. Easy for them, lack of choices for you. Fried chicken sandwiches, chicken wraps, chicken salad sandwich, and chicken salads. Chicken fried sandwich tasted like a big chicken nugget between two buns. You need to order a 'Deluxe' meal to get lettuce and tomato and that sets you back about $6.45. (I'd rather save a buck and get a burger and fries from In-N-Out.) Fries are criss-cut, lightly salted and rather bland. (Carl's Jr criss-cut fries are better). Great customer service is the name of the game here. They have about 5 cash registers that do a great job of knocking out the long lunch rush lines. The service team is really happy all the time and will go above and beyond to greet you and get your order correct. I have had 2 experiences where they get my order wrong or it takes a little too long to get served. They always make up for it with a free chicken nuggets voucher I can use during my next visit. The team always come by at least once, sometimes it's the franchise owner, to check on your meal and refills your drink. Overall the place is always clean and the sauces are always fully stocked. They also have a playpen where the parents come and drop off their children while they eat. read more

The first few times I tried it, I thought, "meh, the chicken could stand to be crispier, the waffle fries are bland, big whoop..." But occasionally, and more often in recent months, I've found myself actually craving the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and the waffle fries. Having a toddler, too, I find myself coming here more often for those quick and easy days of grabbing "healthier" fast food. And he loves the chicken nuggets here and so does Mommy! This location is clean, as is the play area. They sometimes have older kids that shouldn't be in the play area but whatevs... live and let live. Order was missing the salad dressing and two sandwiches. I drove there to get my missing items. They brought out two different sandwiches and the wrong salad dressing. My name was also spelled so wrong I don't know if there's some serious vowel confusion there. I sent it back and got the right sandwiches and just made sure there was salad dressing. I admit it, I love Chick-fil-A and eat here often. Everything I have ordered so far tastes great, gotta love how their chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My favorites are the chicken nuggets, their waffle fries, the cookies and cream milkshake, and the sweet tea that I am very addicted to!! I like how all of their condiments are nicely placed in the middle of the restaurant. You can take or try as many as you want without asking the employees for more (or paying extra), something you hardly ever see nowadays. Also, for all you sweet tea lovers out there, you can buy it by the gallon! The staff is usually very friendly. Although at this location, I noticed that there are only women working here. Sometimes they just don't care and talk about their personal lives in front of a long line customers, so it gets annoying! Its like: oh em gee, can you please find time to talk to each other when you're not busy? i've only used the drive thru in the past until recently... first on the drive thru experience... this cfa has the worst drive thru setup! someone didn't think it through on the floor plan and only have one window that takes payment AND food, wth?! as a result they started taking credit cards on their ordering machines, but if attendants aren't outside, expect the process to be all wrong and twisted. i avoid cfa's with playgrounds like a plague, and this is one of them. was here on a tuesday night and decided to walk in to grab food and omg was it a mistake. this place is filthy, upon entering there are so many greasy hand marks on the door from children, the food took forever, and as a result, i'll be driving the distance to the other cfa's in town bc this one is officially on my do not visit list. read more

The best mega-chain, fast-food restaurant in the land (sorry In-N-Out). Most places like KFC, McDonald's, El Pollo Loco, etc. are pretty much meh, but Chick-fil-A serves legitimately good food. They also have lots of promotions like free food or even free meals, balloons for the kids, appearances by the cow mascot, etc. Atmosphere/service: As is the case with all the Chick-fil-A's in OC, the place is clean as a whistle with very friendly servers. This one also has a nice, indoor play area for toddlers. I try not to take my daughter to fast-food joints, but an occasional french fry won't kill the little ones and if she's going to eat junk food this is the place to do it. Fried items: All very good. The chicken sandwiches are obviously made of actual chicken breasts - so no two sandwiches are the exact size or shape. Crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. Likewise, the chicken strips and nuggets are made with real pieces of chicken and not shaved leftovers that are glued together like a McNugget. The waffle fries are very good as well - made with whole potatoes so you get nice pieces of potato skin on the fries. Chargrilled chicken sandwich: Even though it is not fried, it is still nice and moist. Not as flavorful as the fried sandwich though. Drinks: I would highly recommend the Lemonade or Diet Lemonade. The milk shakes are very good as well. In fact, they dominate over In-N-Out or other fast-food milk shakes. They put on a lot of whipped cream and a cherry, so you might be best off asking for no whip or light on the whip. Condiments: The best selection of condiments of any fast-food chain. My personal favorites are the Texas Pete's hot sauce, the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce (not to be confused with the Honey Mustard sauce), and the Polynesian sauce. This review is for their Valentine's Day event. In case you don't know, this event is where they convert part of the restaurant into a sit down place, give you flowers when you sit, have a table cloth and candle at the table. There's also have a neatly decorated wall for a photo op. My wife saw this event in an ad and figured why not? Let's do it. Who even goes to Chick-fil-a on Valentine's Day? It'll probably be empty. It was not empty. It was super crowded. The decor was cute, but the process and organization was a cluster. Upon arrival for our 6pm reservation we were told that we actually had a 5pm reservation and it was eventbrite's fault that we got the wrong time. So after waiting 15 minutes to sit, we finally get seated, cool. They have fancy looking (paper) menus on the table to aid the ambience. We order pretty quickly and then comes the worst part. There's about 4 staff for 11 tables, which is a pretty damn good ratio! But, they did not have their shit together at all, sadly. After ordering, we wait about 30 minutes. In this time, multiple parties have sat down, taken their orders, and got their food. We had 2 people coming by constantly to ask us what name we were under and to say "sorry for the wait." Keep in mind we have an autistic daughter, who can't really understand what's going on other than she's getting hungry and wants the food she sees on other people's tables. The food only showed up once I got up and started getting angry at any waiter whose attention I could grab. And of course the food is super hot because at this point it seems obvious that the waiter that took our order (Laura if I remember correctly) did something wrong when handing the order off to the kitchen and did not just admit that to us. Anyway, the food isn't any different, just the format. Leaving a 2-star here because the ambience was nice and the musician and photographer were good touches.
