So many workers in fast food seem like they hate their jobs; not here. Swung by the drive thru after a Target run to use a coupon that came in the mail for a free chicken sandwich or nuggets without needing to buy anything else. The drive thru workers were so friendly and the girl even went above and beyond to ask if I wanted any sauces with my order. At the window, I got my food very quickly and it was one of the most freshest chicken sandwiches I have ever eaten. Let me start by saying I'm a frequent flyer for Chick fila. I eat an ungodly amount of chicken / nuggets or sandwiches/ fries from this place. So I know what's "standard" and what's not. I just moved from Puyallup and let me just say between the customer service / quality control I just drive back and forth to get my food because they're an amazing crew. The food is always fresh and if I by chance do have an issue it's never an issue to correct it. I even tried to ask them if any would be willing to transfer to this location because of how bad it is. At the lakewood location I have been greeted with an employee who was 1) in a bad mood. 2) made comments about they're bad mood and how they didn't wanna be at work. 3) had items remade - then the food was still mediocre. "Fresh" food isn't Luke warm. 4) cleaning products were left by the food that was being sent through the window. 5) employees touching their face / hair and then handling the customers food. - 6) THE ICE MACHINE IS STILL BROKEN. I've never had an issue with any chick fil a I've been to. The service this company has is usually very good so it's kind of what I expect. I went through the drive through and on the day coming, the girl taking orders through the drive through didn't have the laminated menu like other locations I've been to. I kind of panicked as I don't even know what the number is for my order. If you haven't had Chick-fil-A, the food is awesome. If you like relatively spicy food, the spicy chicken sandwich is my favorite. It isn't too spicy so don't be afraid of it if you're not sure. The nuggets, fries, and salads are also really good here. I also recommend trying a shake. Probably my favorite "fast-food." The lemonade is also the best! Just sour enough, just sweet enough, and very authentic tasting. Service: I mean, it's fast-food, so there isn't much to say here. It came out at a normal speed -- I have no complaints. We also haven't been in, only through the drive-through. If you go in, you might experience Chick-fil-A's superior service, but I can't speak to it at this particular location because I haven't gone inside. Drive-through: This is my only complaint. To save space, and likely also because it's so busy, this place has a fork-style, split drive-through. This would be fine if people weren't dumb. Except, one thing is missing and it's the quality. Twice in the past 2 weeks I've gotten "soggy" fries and just today I received a completely flat coke that tasted like water. I went to this location for the first time the other day and it definitely changed my mind about Chick-fil-A. I really liked this location because it was fast, clean, not overly crowded, and had a jungle gym for the kiddies that was intended for smaller children. Other places like McDonalds have kids play places that are just a little too big for my toddler. This place was perfect. The food looked good, fresh ingredients, and very flavorful.
