I started a new job in Lakewood yesterday. I'm not familiar with the area yet, so set out today to get my favorite Subway sandwich via navigation. The Subway near my old job was fine, nothing special, just fine. Today though....sought out the nearest location to my work, very convenient, ample parking. Then I was greeted by an employee with...and what can I make for you today? Exuberant, lively, happy to be there woman, I didn't get her name but she was shorter with brown hair, bright and friendly. She did a great job on the sandwich but it's my favorite, I get it all the time, always the same (consistency Subway, you got this), but I noticed she sent every customer out the door with a "Have a great day!" whether they were seated for a while or taking it to go, she never missed a beat. Mid-sandwich, shouting out her well-wishes as each left. She was amazing! When I watched her make the sandwich, she discarded anything substandard like she planned to eat it herself. No wilted lettuce (not like there was any in the tray anyway), the ripest tomato with no greeny center, any cucumber that wasn't up to her approval. But the stock looked great anyway. I've been in customer service for 40 years. It's rare these days to even get a thank you from a fast food employee. Give that lady a raise, I'll find out who she is next time I go, and I will go. Guess the new owners really needed my lil $6 bad Multiple times me and my coworkers would order through the app for pick up for the deals and no problem. Recently there's been an issue on their end claiming our orders never go through and they will not make it even if I'm showing proof that I've paid for it and it charged me. Asked for a refund they refused telling me to buy again if I'm hungry. lol wtf. Disputed the chargers through my bank and got my money back. The service lady appeared to be overwhelmed dealing with everything herself since there were many people showing up. Their food was okay. Both things could be improved. This ambiance was small with little place to sit as well. read more

The service at this particular location is horrible! I ordered online paid and showed up for pick up as time stated. When I walked in there was one customer leaving they were not busy and still hadn't started on my order. When the guy finally started to work on my order, he proceeded to make my sandwich with mayonnaise. I told him that I could not have mayonnaise on my sandwich. Then he took his finger, ran it across the bread and took the mayonnaise off closed the sandwich and then wrapped it up. I told him I could not have the sandwich like that. He said he would remake it for $15 extra. I laughed and said give me my money back he said you do it yourself. I will never go to this location ever again and I will tell everyone how horrible of an experience it was for a sandwich. read more

The staff is incredible. We were greeting by all 3 of them. The female supervisor was amazing. You can tell she enjoys her job and adores her staff. We ate in the restaurant and it was immaculate. I am very impressed and will be coming back. read more

First of all it took forever for the guy to even come out from the back after hearing the door open. Then while making my sandwich he put about half the turkey they usually put on there. Someone also came in after us and cut in front and the guy didn't even say anything. Also when I went to go fill up my cup with ice I got about 2 ice cubes and then nothing plus the new drink lids also prevent you from getting as much in the cup whatever that's worth. We were in the for 15+ minutes trying to get 2 sandwiches and the music was blaring. Go to any other subway and it'll probably be better. read more

I don't usually visit sandwich shops, but..I like tuna sandwiches, and I especially like the way Subway does them. That tuna they use is delicious and they actually put enough on the bread, unlike some other sandwich shops who meter it. It's better than what I can make at home. I drop in here whenever I'm in Lakewood about lunch time. read more

They got my order wrong and when I tried to call multiple times to get a refund, they never answered. When I went in, they still refused to refund. It was the owners wife who called her husband to see. They said they wouldn't refund and she was incredibly rude. Subway just lost a loyal customer. read more

I would have loved to give feedback directly to Subway... however there's no options to do any customer satisfaction surveys on any of their locations. 1. I routinely visit this location... there is one staff member, possibly the supervisor, that is very friendly and customer service oriented. The rest of the staff is lack luster. 2. I often order the same meal... I usually order extra veggies (I don't mind paying extra but Subway doesn't charge for the "more" option for veggies) today my order didn't not even have the normal quantity of lettuce when I asked for more. You would have thought I asked for less (this is an option). 3. I asked for the veggies to be cut and to add croutons, none of which was done. 4. It would be nice to have consistency across staff and staff that actually read and honor the customers request. It would be nice if customers were greeted with some enthusiasm besides the one staff member that is always cheerful. The staff member that gave me my food did not even speak or double check to see if I was the right person for the order. 5. I hope that I can one day give this store a 5 because that one staff member that seems to greet everyone with a smile and provides excellent customer service deserves it!!! Long post, sorry. I've been to a lot of subways all over the world. Even in Iraq and Afghanistan and this Subway is by far the worst Subway I've ever been to. Mainly because the service is so slow that I dropped my daughter off for an hour appointment drove one block to this place place to get her and a sandwich and it literally took over half of her appointment time to get 2 sandwiches and 1 didn't even have vegetables. This is the 3rd time I have come to this place and it will be the last time. not only was the service slow but the lady behind the counter was very rude. I'm not sure if I walked in after something happened or what but I could tell something was bothering her. There was only white and wheat bread available which was very disappointing but I looked passed it and ordered anyway, being polite as I always try to be with lots of "please and thank you" throughout my order. I like my sandwich toasted with the veggies on it and she seemed to have an issue with that. She explained to me that I was asking for a "melt" which I had never heard anyone call it that before and I've been ordering sandwiches like that for years. "I was a bit confused and mentioned to her that I had never heard anyone call it that before." She got clarification from the other employee who said "Oh, yeah. Thats a melt. It has triple cheese." I stopped and said "Oh, I don't want triple cheese. I just want my sandwich toasted with the veggies on it with regular cheese." The first girl said that if I wanted the veggies on it when it's toasted then I would have to get triple cheese. I was very confused and said "No, no. That's not what I want and I always get my viggies toasted" the girl then started raising her voice to me and said "That's what it is and we work here and we know our job!" to much regret, I began losing my own bearing and simply told her to "be quiet." what I should have asked is for her to not raise her voice. But it is hard for me to not meet confrontation with further confrontation. Right after that I snapped back into trying to he as polite as possible. She seemed to get back on track as well even though she was obviously upset. She also tried to put my sandwich in the toaster after the incident which I assumed that she was just upset and forgot. I said "Miss, I would like the veggies on it before it is toasted." And she went back for the veggies. In the end, I did get what I wanted. Shout out to whatever guy works on Fridays around 5 PM. Thank you for warming up my veggie patty twice without even blinking an eye! I also loved how he washed his hands in between customers. I'm so late on this review lol I came to this subway just as a quick stop because my mom wanted to go to the teriyaki place next door. I'm a vegetarian and so subway is not my first option. For vegetarians I wouldn't recommend because they touch the meat and THEN they touch the veggies. Just not cool it should be the other way around. This subway however has an exception. There was an amazing girl making the sandwhichs and I think her names is Iza or something around there I don't remember exactly. I told her that I was a vegetarian and asked if she could use the fresh veggies in the back for my sand which. Now most subways I've been to have said no which is why I don't go to subway lol but this incredible young woman did it with a smile, no hesitation, and all the while holding a conversation with me. She really is the face of this subway. My sand which was so good and so darn fresh!! It was amazing straight up. Of course I tipped her and told her how amazing she was! Because I'm so overly picky and precise with my food. Veggie sandwich consisted of lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion, cucumber, olives, peppers, bell peppers, vinegar oil mayo pepper and mustard and the veggies were packed out! Good as Subway goes. 3 stars for customer service and speed of making my sandwiches. I docked 2 stars mainly because they seem to lack ingredients that other subways have. I don't know if this is now a company wide policy or just a franchise specific one so when I try a different Subway I'll make sure to add more details on that. My experience here was not good at all. I was not greeted at all upon entering. The employees weren't even in the front where the sandwiches are made but in the back of the store. Eventually, one came up to the front and just looked at me, I guess waiting for me to say what I wanted. Finally, I just walked up and said what I wanted to order. Employee did not acknowledge me at all and kept talking back and forth loudly with her co worker who was still in the back of the store about her issues with her work schedule. Asking when she worked next and complaining that she has worked the last 3 weekends in a row. I finally get down to the register once my sandwich is made. Food was ready, there was 2 young men working that were polite and friendly. I ordered ahead the Tuna. I have eaten Subway for more years than I care to say, but have never had their Tuna. I do get Tuna @ another place (JJ) and it is a fav! But honestly there was less Tuna on Subway's than if it were a condiment. Yes, I smelled a faint tuna scent...but could not taste it. I opened it up and there was a 1" strip of tuna smeared lightly along the bread. The ends of the roll were also hard....not fresh. All the times I've gone to this Subway, everyone has been very friendly, helpful, and gracious on the toppings. Yum!

The servers here are exceptional. I placed an online order, unknown to them there was an item shown online that they no longer carried after they received my order they called informing me of the mistake. They offered to change my order with no extra cost regardless of the item I chose. I placed my replacement order and then proceeded to pick up my items a few minutes later. Not only were the staff friendly over the phone but they had my order ready and threw in a few cookies as an apology for the mistake. The order was for my son so you better believe he was happy with the extra treat!. This is my second time at this location and although there is a closer subway near my house I may be willing to drive the extra few minutes to come here. I have to say the one off of Pacific is also lovely and that is my usual go to besides Mc Chord post. :) hahahahaha we order subway alot!! read more

Purple haired girl- Pretty sad with this experience. Went in with my mom and sister to get something to eat, usually a fine experience. Except this time.. my mom wanted a little turkey, the woman replied "we are out of the bread" okay not a problem, so my mom told me to order my food, I did. Then the lady helping us just proceeded to move on to the next people. My mom doesn't go to subway at all, so she asked if she could get a little turkey on flat bread. The lady laughed and said very obviously sarcastically said "you can do anything on flat bread" so my mom asked for that and she said, "oh...uh...okay.." very snarky like. Just the whole time she was helping us she acted like she didn't want to be there or do her job effectively or just at all. If she doesn't want to be a nice, good customer service representative, then she shouldn't be in a customer service job. End of story. Pretty sad that I had to witness my mother who was just politely asking questions about her choices and she was treated like a complete inconvenience.
