Having a Chick-fil-A close by is awesome! Went there this morning and the place was big and super clean. There were many employees working behind the counter. I do want to say it was a bit overwhelming and it felt like I was being rushed to order by I am assuming was one of the managers. The person taking my order was kind and patient. The manager that was breathing down her neck however, felt like he was rushing me to to make my decisions and felt like he was cutting me and the person taking my order off. We drive through this place once in a while. The cheerful staff along the drive through to take the order and help the customers feels great. They noticed our little Maltese in our car and offered to give my prince a nice whipped cream cup treat. The food is very nice, as always. I used to go to the headquarter Chick-fil-A all the time and always happy with the service over there. I thought "wow, Chick-fil-A trains them very well ". Oh well..... not this Milpitas one. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich meal via drive-thru and the chicken was so succulent, the tomato and lettuce so fresh on a delectable soft bun! Waffle fries were tasty and perfectly crisp. Naomi helped me in the drive-thru line and was very friendly, detailed, and efficient (she even guessed the correct spelling of my name). STAY AWAY from this location. If I could give it zero stars I would. Go to North First Street...way better service!! I ordered using the mobile app and picked up the order at the drive thru. I was given my order and I had 3 of the 11 sauces I ordered. All 11 sauces were on the receipt. There were only 3 in the bag. When I asked I was told I would need to pay .25 cents for each one over 3. I told the staff I have four meals and I ordered them on the app. Staff got the manager, Rafael, and he told me I can only have 3 and if want more I have to pay 25 cents to which I told him that I ordered 11 for my 4 meals and it's on my receipt as no charge and he still told me that I would need to pay. He said people abuse it and order 20 which is impossible on the app because it won't let you do that. I asked him if he ever used the app and he said yes and you can order 20 which is false. I told him I was not going to pay for stuff it said I can have. He said I can give you 2 but that's it you need to pay for the rest. I tried to tell him I ordered 11 and it's on the receipt and he said no, we can't do that. If you can't do it why does the app let you do it. False advertising I guess. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced at a Chick-fil-a. They really don't care about their customers at this location and a lot of these reviews call that out. First time there, curious to try. Went to drive- thru. Food was just ok. Kids meal a bit steep over $7! I ordered fries but they were not in my bag. Not on my receipt when we checked. They failed to acknowledge their mistake and instead of proper customer service and just giving me some, they said I had to go back to the drive thru and pay. Went to this new location at Milpitas first time with my fam and enjoyed my order (: I ordered Two large fries, Two 4 chicken tenders entree, and 1 regular spicy chicken sandwich without pickles. I love this place it's very clean and has fast service. When you get your food it comes in very hot which I love. My mom enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich. While my sister and I were eating hot fries and chicken tenders mmm we enjoyed the crunch and juiciness it's a 10/10! The fries were a little bit too salty so next time I will be asking for less salt but overall the fries still taste good. I will definitely come back here again. read more

Don't know what the hype is about. The deluxe chicken sandwich was soggy and gross. Wilted lettuce, one broken pickle and dried over melted cheese. It was like a frozen hospital sandwich that you microwave. The waffle fries were under cooked. The only stars was for the great service from the line attendant and the sauce. Which was my dinner. Today at around noon our family came to this restaurant to order a take out. While my wife was ordering food in the front, I was standing in the back area with our 15 month old baby sitting in a shopping cart. There were 5 or 6 customers at the time and most of them were waiting for take out in the front. While waiting for our food to get prepared, the manager Chris Johnson approached me saying the shopping cart was not allowed in the restaurant. He suggested me to pick up the baby from the shopping cart and bring the shopping cart outside or I have to leave. Since it was hot outside and it would be too cumbersome to take out the stuff and the baby from the shopping cart, I asked to stay. Chris rejected my request and asked me to leave. I ended up waiting outside with a baby in the shopping cart. The baby became fuzzy after waited for five minutes in the sun. My wife and I were very upset at the lack of kindness and understanding of the restaurant manager. Update on 7/12/2022: Here's the cookie-cutter response from Chris. He doesn't seem to feel sorry for what he did, and he doesn't understand the gravity of the situation. It's a shame that the chain restaurant hires him to be the manager at this location. Just sat in line for 45 minutes at the drive thru for no reason because of poor management. Instead of taking order the employees sit and chat with each other knowing breakfast orders close soon. When I finally was given a chance to order I was not able to get my breakfast. Which is the only reason I came. The more frustrating part is then being stuck in the drive thru line for 45 min because the staff wouldn't open the second lane for customers to pull forward, which made no sense as they gave customers there orders leaving to sit in the car while there food gets cold....don't get me wrong I could if come earlier but the situation left me feeling very upset and most of all I left hungry and unhappy. With so many people standing around they should do a better job at managing the line. In the drive thru towards the end of breakfast. Went there to get an ice cream cone during lunch time for my mom after her chemo therapy. I asked for extra cone(without ice cream) on the side coz mom always enjoys the extra crunchiness. When I pulled up, the "manager" was giving a hard time to the drive through employees how they put in the order wrong and they need to charge extra for the cone because it is considered buying two ice cream cones. The employee was trying to explain how it is just the extra cone without the ice cream. During this time I was sitting in the car with my mom and he for sure knows that I can hear the entire conversation. When the "manager" handed me the order I told him that I can pay for the extra "cone" and he finally quits giving griefs. I have no issue paying for anything extra as long as it makes my mom happy after her chemo treatment, but it wasn't on the menu and even when I placed the order at the drive through they just told me to pull up and get my order. However, i am writing this review now because i want to share the outstanding experience i had this morning when i went to the Chick-fil-A in Milpitas for the first time while driving home to Santa Cruz. As i walked in, a saw a well dressed man sitting at a table who gave me the code for the restroom. i told him i thought he was very handsome, he graciously said that i made his day. Turns out he was the owner Chris Johnson. i complimented him on the sweet fresh flowers on all the tables, and the cleanliness all around me as well. We began to chat, and he introduced me to his beautiful wife, and the man (please forgive me i don't remember his name) who Chris said was one responsible for keeping everything clean, and tidy. A very humble gesture, from a very hard working business owner who obviously who takes pride, and cares about his restaurant, and his customers. Not only was my food excellent, but the staff was friendly, and efficient. Being a small business owner myself, i can appreciate all this is no easy task, but one that is well worth all the effort.
