Nothing special. Dirty bathrooms. Kitchen service had an attitude when I was missing part of my order.

I came here with my father for lunch in midtown. The restaurant is convenient for professionals in the area. We ordered through a kiosk and the food came out pretty quickly. The dining area was fairly clean for a midtown restaurant and the service was friendly and accommodating. The eggrolls and sandwich were fried well; however, they were a little salty. Something that is probably common for a fast food joint. The fries were crispy and paired well with the chicken sandwich. I would definitely come back here and treat myself to lunch during the weekdays.

Located on 42nd St between Times Sq and Bryant Park so very accessible via public transportation. Order at Kiosks by the entrance or in-person at the counter (but 0-1 employee there that time so kiosk was better). There is an app but didn't work for me- after making our choices, it said error during checkout. Anyway, app menu and prices were different from the kiosk menu even when we picked the NYC location. Not sure why. As far as the food, I found it not to be anything special in terms of seasoning; not flavorful so needed the sauces that came with (avocado sauce for me). Large pieces of chicken though. Self-serve for fountain drinks. Ample seating in the middle to rear of the place. Restroom code on the receipt is not the correct one so had to ask an employee anyway.

I have heard good things about Guy Fieri's chicken food chain so I had to try it as soon as they opened one by my job. I walked over during lunch one day, took a menu from Mr. Chicken at the entrance and proceeded to order chicken nuggets with bourbon brown sugar bbq sauces. I'm so glad I got two sauces because I slathered it all over my nuggets and it made the tasting experience so much more delightful. I hope they start selling the sauce separately because I would buy a whole bottle. I can't wait to come back and try their sandwiches next.

You hear about Flavatown all the time, so when they finally opened an accessible Guy Fieri location that I could try, ya know I had to stop by. I got the Loaded Mac and Cheese with chopped chicken tenders, bacon, and green scallions on top. It was just okay though. The chicken tenders were decently flavored and the bacon and scallions were nice too but the mac and cheese itself was really bland and watery. I understand that you can't have super creamy or thicker mac and cheese in establishments like this because they dry out really easily so they have to go with a more watery consistency but there's not really any flavor to the "cheese" part at all. The service was alright, no complaints there and my meal came out quick, just kind of disappointing that I did not arrive at flavortown. I don't think I reached the halfway point even.

I came here for the Grand Opening of Chicken Guy! and it was cool to see him in person and see the ribbon cutting and all. Once inside it was a madhouse. I know grand openings can always be crazy but this one seemed like a bit more than usual. I got the 3 piece chicken tender deluxe meal which comes with fries and soda of your choice.'The sauces I got were BBQ and Honey Mustard. Since it was the grand opening they gave you two extra sauces if you wanted. So I opted for the ranch and the special sauce. All I will say is that this chicken is not for me. I don't know what spices they use in the breading but it's deff not for my taste buds. Their fries were nothing to write home about either. The sauces were nothing special. Tasted like regular BBQ and honey mustard. I think if I am not wrong they make the sauces in house... But I could be wrong. They are also known for their crazy good looking shakes. I did not indulge in one this time. But the samples they were handing out to us in line they looked like fun and delicious flavors. There are better chicken fingers options out there in NYC to go to.

I stopped in cause I knew it was Guy's place and I was hungry during the photo walking tour I was giving. I wanted to try it out. Rookie move for sure. The chicken on the sandwich was good, but it stops there. The fries had a sugary seasoning thrown in top and the chocolate shake was not one of my favorites. Service was okay. I love Guy, but was not a huge fan of this place.

My family and I were on a trip to New York, and we had a rather aggravating morning and were famished. We were back at our hotel and wanted a quick bite to eat. Next door was Chicken Guy! and so we decided to give it a shot. My brother and I going in got a lot of deja-vu/nostaglia vibes when we walked in. It took us a while to put our finger on why, but eventually we realized it kinda reminded us of the spoof fast food joint in the videogame set in NY called GTAIV. Specifically, it reminded us of Cluckin Bell. Sure, in the game, it was a spoof of Taco Bell and KFC combined... but the colors, how the restaurant was shaped, the chicken, even the mascot... it felt like we were in a Cluckin' Bell. We both laughed out loud hard when we realized this! Outside of this humorous realization, my family did enjoy eating here. The portion size is hearty, hell it almost feels like too much. The chicken is well seasoned, hot and delicious. The fries are perfectly crunchy. The service is way better than what you expect from fast food. We had some laughs, got some grub... it was a great result.

1 piece of chicken tender...huge chunk of meat. I was already full from eating this.

Wow...except for 1 good review, all the others were really bad. This is one of those places, you should go decide for yourself. I met my friends here for a quick dinner. The employees were welcoming once I walked right through the door. The self serve kiosks were next to the door entrance though you wouldn't know unless you turn around. There is a brief hallway before your reached the counter with actual employees. I went to look for my friends before I decided what to order. Since I shared my friend's chicken tender (3) with fries (thank you to my friend!), I decided to get a milkshake (treating myself) and fried pickles (another treat). The employee gave me an order number so when my food is ready, another employee brought it to my table. The wait wasn't too long. The chicken tender was a huge chunk of meat. It wasn't so moist or juicy that your fingers get greasy nor dry that you need a beverage to wash down the food. Eating 1 tender was enough for me since it was thick.I wasn't crazy about the fries. The fried pickles were perfect though it much for me to finish (yes, it's good for sharing). When the employee said their milkshake was good. I was skeptical since milkshakes can be thick or liquidity. I decided to the apple cinnamon cereal milkshake. It sounds a bit strange but since this is a treat, I'm going all out. Theirs was thick so it was perfect for me. There are a lot of pictures in the back seating area. If you need the restroom, follow the chicken feet prints. Make sure you get a receipt to get the bathroom code. Go try for yourself and decide.

    Chicken Strips and Fries
    Alicia M.

Chicken strip portions are generous. Instead of chunky breading, these pieces have an eating coating along a slab of chicken. Fries were crispy and seasoned well. I wasn't a fan of the sauces I got but there were so many to choose from, so there may be better sauces than what I ordered. Food came out within a minute or two of ordering. The restaurant was a little grimy but had plenty of seating.

Staff in prep areas without hair net. I'd hate to think who is preparing my milkshake in the back.

At the, Times Square location, my order took 20 minutes although the place was empty when I arrived. Staff preparing food should wear a net. Hair, hanging over prep areas is unappealing. This site does not even comes close to the service and food taste at Disney Springs location.

    Chicken tenders
    Maram A.

The chicken is very tasty. It's crispy in a unique way. It was very flavourful and didn't need a sauce. However I did get the donkey sauce and that was good too. The fries were very bad. They were chewy and limp. They had little potato in them and were not fresh. The restaurant is clean and is a fast food decor. They're are seats in the back. Workers were friendly. The chicken tenders came out quickly but the sandwich took a long time. One thing to note is the workers spend a long time in the bathroom. I think yhe bathroom is the escape and break room. Both my friend and I waited over ten minutes to wash our hands and it was the workers in the bathrooms. I recommend a separate hand-wash area or a breakroom for the workers. The workers were fine but since the restaurant is an open concept and customers can see how the workers work there should be an awareness of what they talk about and handle the front station. Would come back here but bring your own handwipes.

My family and I came here for the first time on vacation. I would give the children nuggets a 4 star, but I was ok with the rolls. Overall, a 3.5 stars would be the correct rating.

The chicken itself was hard on the edges and somehow soggy in the center -- a combination I didn't even know was possible. The mayo situation looked like someone whispered the word "sauce" over the bun and walked away. The Spicy Wings were no better -- overcooked, dark, and tasted like they'd been sitting in the warmer since lunchtime. Not spicy. Not fresh. Just... tired. The fries? Burnt, cold, and absolutely done with life. They didn't even pretend to try. The only thing that saved this meal from being a total loss was the 3-sauce flight. My order went through KFC's app, which I downloaded now for the 1st time. This location, a block from Penn Station and MSG certainly gets a lot of customers, keeping the KFC busy behind the counter. That being said, all the tables had crumbs and, while I'm eating, some guy came in rummaging through the trash foraging for something to eat and exited with a discarded bucket - making the experience less than optimal. Putting that aside, here's the other reasons this meal dropped from 3 to 2 stars: While I enjoyed KFC Original Recipe Tenders more than a chicken nugget, they gave me Buffalo Ranch sauce instead of the KFC Sauce I ordered. They corrected it, but having now tasted also their Comeback Sauce, I'd order that in the future over the KFC Sauce. The biscuit and was much smaller and drier than I remember, or get elsewhere. The fries were also not something to write home about. Oddly, the 2 Piece Deal ended up with 3 pieces, but the drumsticks were more like drumettes and the thigh was possibly from a runt - so, I guess it was equivalent to the amount of meat I'd expect from 2 normal size pieces. Perhaps these kid's "tea playset"-size components are how they're able to sell this (value) Taste of KFC 2 Piece Meal for $5 - shrinkflation? Would I go back? Not likely to this KFC location due to the other more appealing nearby options, but open to try elsewhere something else on their menu again if the opportunity permits and I'm nearby.
