I don't go to Chick-Fil-A often but found myself here with friends on the way back from a beach trip. First off, this location is spotless everywhere. It kind of even seems to sparkle when you drive up (so serious, just look at the photos). My chicken was hot and fresh and the fruit cup was great! Note: I take fruit cups very seriously and am super unhappy when the fruit is 1) all the same fruit or 2) old and nasty. It was a healthy mix of apples, oranges, grapes, strawberries, and blueberries--fresh like the farmer's market! I got my favorite half vanilla and half strawberry milkshake. If you haven't done a half-and-half shake before, you're missing out! I didn't know that servers came around to give refills, which was a welcome surprise. Stingy on the sauce! Since this isnt the first time I've decided to say something. Staff outside drive thru was very nice and efficient. And I try to have leniency during these tough times. However, for 3 people and 3 sandwiches ordered I asked for EXTRA chick fila sauce. She said it was in the bag. We get home to eat and there were 2! Those fed just the first kid so the other 2 got none. Hardly enough for the number of sandwiches ordered let alone extras. Wow!! This is for the Service I received here. There is an employee named Norma. She was truly amazing! She let us know when there was freshly brewed coffee and refilled our cups!! She offered to throw away our trash for us and our trays. Although we declined, just that thought was so nice of her. She kept returning to us if we needed anything and she helped us as much as she could. We were staying in the ocean city area for vacation. The service here is fantastic! Employees are all friendly and care about their customers. A child at the table next to us spilled her drink and it was immediately cleaned up and customers at surrounding tables were notified to watch their step. We were on the last day of our vacation when we dined here. When we got home to New York, we realized my daughter had left her purse on the chair. sweaty, sandy, and starving- what anyone can expect after a nice afternoon on the beach. my vacation party and i visited this chic-fil-a location twice to alleviate our hunger and irritability. the first time was via the drive thru. our food was relatively fresh and service at the drive thru lane was prompt and kind. my only complaint from this first trip was that they did not mention any sauce options and were extremely stingy on napkins. we circled back and got our sauce, which solved our issue. the fault could absolutely be blamed on us for not requesting sauce, yet it would have been an appreciated gesture if the worker would've asked for a sauce preference. ok, whatever, this does not warrant this bad of a review. what does, however, is the second visit when this location has proved they are a repeat offender of stinginess and sloth. the second time, we door dashed. our dasher delivered our food quickly, still quite warm, and treated us with kindness upon delivery- no problems there! the problem was that i SPECIFICALLY requested 10 chic-fil-a sauce. anyone who has frequented a chic-fil-a location understands what a delicacy this sauce is. upon arrival of our order, we did not receive 10 chic-fil-a sauce. we didn't receive nine, five, or EVEN ONE package of this sauce. typing this, sitting next to my lackluster chic-fil-a order, BONE DRY WITH NO SAUCE, i am filled with an unrivaled RAGE. i just wanted my nuggets and fries to be slathered in sauce. i use A LOT. and to reiterate, they did not provide ONE when i asked for TEN. ocean city chic-fil-a, i am thoroughly disappointed. as it is stated commonly, "sauce is the boss." the "boss" of this chic-fil-a should emphasize the importance of INCLUDING REQUESTED SAUCE to their employees. read more

We were visiting OC for Memorial Day weekend and the staff at this location were so rude the people in the drive thru treated us horrible. When we beep our horn for the car in front to move forward the kid at the window demanded we don't beep our horn. The girl with him started to yell at us because we said we were beeping for the car in front to move up it doesn't help the line was super long and super slow. We are visiting Ocean City for my daughters spring break and decided to pickup dinner. First of all, it took way to long.... I thought they had forgotten my order or expected me to come in even though I did curbside pickup. Anyway, food finally came and she couldn't give me the food fast enough to get back in the restaurant. I felt rushed. So of course we get back to our hotel and we had 3 drinks - no straws, I had a salad - no silverware, all the dipping sauces I requested- 0 and no napkins. I mean I guess they think because their Chick-fil-a that no matter what people will put up with laziness and poor customer service. by far THE worst chick fil a ive ever been to. The customer service is awful, they make you feel stupid for ordering something slightly different. They don't do well done fries because "they are so busy and it takes long". However EVERY other chick fil a ive ever been to always done well done fries. This chick fil a is never anywhere near as busy as the one where i'm from, and where i'm from they will do extra extra well done fries with a smile on their face. This chick fil a also NEVER fills the fries up. I could fit a my medium fry is a small fry bag. The fries aren't cheap so id like the amount i pay for. The other day, they gave me my wrong order, so they said next time I come they will give me the right order. So they are making me waste my gas to come and just get what i should've gotten in the first place? Any other chick fil a would've refunded me or given me something for free or a free treat. So, you have a special milk shake you serve seasonally. Wouldn't you think it would be a good idea to have it in stock? For the second week in a row we have driven all the from the north end of town to West Ocean City to have a meal. Both times the fries have been cool and in little pieces. The place is very good for a Chick-Fil-A. It's located right in Ocean Gateway. The waffle fries are great and so are the breaded chicken nuggets. But the lemonade that's usually amazing was really too sour it's like it needed more water. The employee was kind of starring weirdly at my friend the whole time which kind of ruined the experience of being there.. But I guess it was decent being there. The girl taking our order said we can't because its company policy even know we haven't even paid yet. We ask to speak to the manager. I really do not know if we have extremely bad luck or the 5 star reviews are fake; but this Chick-Fil-A absolutely stinks. When we order inside the store it takes forever. We hit the drive through a few weeks ago and waited 15 minutes and finally left without an order. We hit the drive trough again a few days ago and the order was wrong. It is 90% of the time miss with this place and although I do not think everyone is perfect this place leaves little to be desired. We have been visiting for years and most times there is a problem.
