Currently writing this from the parking spot they asked me to pull through while I wait. The food is good as ever and the location is great but they are not efficient! I checked out this new location in Renton which is near where I live. I have never tried a Chick-fil-A before. I drove up in the drive-thru where a young man took my order. I placed my order. He didn't read it back to me and with Covid and mask wearing I would think that is a given. He didn't give me a receipt to show me the order I made. So off I go to wait for my turn to get my meal. First of all when I was handed my order the lady didn't give me my drink, I had to ask for it. Secondly I specifically ordered UN-sweetened tea and I got sweet tea which I can't stand. Again, no verification of my order, they just verified my name. And thirdly the drink came in a STYRAFOAM cup! Really??? Obviously Chick-fil-A doesn't care about the environment. Per usual, the Chick-Fil-A brand remains true to form! This new location in the downtown Renton vicinity may seem like an awkward location, but they've gotten the traffic flow down pat. The shiny new exterior brightens up the block and has remained clean since its opening a couple weeks back. I typically order using the CFA mobile app and select "Curbside" for the most efficient fast food experience. I love the app because it saves my favorite orders, automatically reminds me of my rewards & my card is already linked to a 1-click payment. Unfortunately, this location doesn't offer curbside right now and there really aren't enough viable parking spots for them to offer it in the near future. I still used the app but had to go inside, give my name & wait on the patio for my order to be brought out. For the food - everything was up to par after we received everything we ordered. This rarely ever happens, but all of the sauces were missing so my husband had to run in & ask for them. The tenders were crispy, the nuggets were nuggin', the fries were fresh & the frosted lemonade was heavy on the ice-cream (just like I like 'em). Next time, we'll go for the drive-through experience to gauge wait times & whatnot. HOT TIP - you currently cannot enter the drive through lanes from the entrance in the Fred Meyer parking lot. Why am I not surprised by this mediocre score. The food and service here were both cold. My meal was an absolute fail, when asked by an employee if my meal was good, I advised the chicken and fries were neither hot or crisp. She shrugged and said, "Didn't live up to the hype, huh". At that point it was clear no one was concerned about the quality of the product or customer experience. I decided to write Chick Fil A. I got an email back advising Chick Fil A cares and I should be contacted in the next 48 hours. 2 weeks later, no contact. So I wrote the BBB, that apparently got their attention. I wad told Chick Fil A does not make crispy fries and the lightly battered chicken is not designed to have a crunch. Considering I specifically asked that both be crisp, it was a surprise to hear after the fact that the failure was poor communication and lack of familiarity with their own product. My food was also room temp and not hot, but that didn't appear to concern the owners. They made no offer to replace the meal or refund my money. Later, I got an email with a coupon for a free lemonade. I spent $10 on a terrible meal and you want me to come back for free juice? This place won't last, these owners are idiots and the poor reviews show that they are unwilling to fix anything. This place is going to suffer a slow death and ruin the reputation of Chick Fil in the process. Instead of making it right, they earned two formal complaints and a negative review. Wonder if this cost more than refunding or replacing the meal? I guess they can ponder that while they enjoy my complimentary lemonade. read more

Really a good location-fast, polite staff, and delicious food. I see some complaints- maybe they were there at a super busy time but I found it really great. My only beef (pun intended, since it's a chicken place) was that they offer lunch items during breakfast but with a 20 min wait (and it wasn't busy). I ate there Thursday late afternoon Dec 21. I don't know what it's called but it's below #1 on the menu board that I ordered. As I began eating I found that it was so extrely salty that had a. Sharpness to it. I proceeded anyway. My chest started hurting severely. A couple nitro g' and 10 minutes late4, I was on the way to the ER room with, in fact, heart failure. I understand this is a new location but they were not very busy, and some how got every part of our order wrong. Everything the girl at the beginning wrote down was correct, we even checked the receipt while waiting for food. After fifteen minutes from ordering to receiving our food we got home only to realize nothing was edible. Has a gluten free household we can only eat the grilled nuggets or bunless chicken club. So this has been delayed and on my mind since this Chick-Fil-A opened in Renton on Rainier Ave! For months I would go to get food and the first Tom so go they don't have the Grilled Spicy Chix Sandwich! That's was disappointing! It truly was! So ordered the usual...Spicy Chix Deluxe! ( that's #2 on the menu!) LOl! I get it with A sweet ice tea! (In truth they either changed vendors because it's not that sweet! I like my tea sweeeeeeet!) But what do I know! Went to Chick-fil-A this morning, got a couple of things but the yogurt parfait portion size is laughable. When I took it out of the bag I at first thought it was just an employee who sucked at their job...but after returning to the store to specifically ask if this was pre-portioned like this or what, I was told that it is in fact weighed out by some machine and that if I had an issue to take it up with corporate. I understand it's Covid however, the meal was definitely not worth $25 for 2 ppl. It wouldn't have been worth half of that. 1st, there wasn't a line, it was pretty much empty, and the tables weren't wiped. 2nd, my daughter ordered a chicken sandwich with pickles and they didn't give her any pickles. This place is not on brand for chick-fil-A at all. The drive thru system is poorly marked and confusing, they routinely mess up orders, your food arrives late and cold. I've also ordered catering for my job before and they were very friendly and offered to go above and beyond to help me carry it out and make sure I had everything I needed.
