Boyfriend and I came here to pick up a LARGE catering order today and had the most pleasant experience with every employee. Angie helped us roll the catering out on a cart to the car and was so sweet. She even gave us a catering bag (that we will definitely use for grocery shopping later this evening) I now have 2 favorite chick-fil-a locations, Frankford and Goliad! Not Truly Military Friendly I was extremely disappointed to learn (after frequenting this location many times before) that this Chick-fil-A location only offers a military discount to current active-duty service members and doesn't extend the same respect to retired veterans who have already completed their service. What makes this even more frustrating is that there are no military bases anywhere near this area, so realistically there are very few--if any--active-duty service members coming through. In other words, it feels like a policy that allows them to say they support the military without actually honoring the people who live in this community and have already served their country. Many businesses proudly support all who have served, including retired military members and veterans who dedicated years--sometimes decades--of their lives to this country. Limiting the discount only to active duty sends the message that once your service is finished, your sacrifice no longer counts. Our veterans carried the weight long before the current generation put on the uniform. A truly military-friendly business recognizes active duty, veterans, and retirees alike. It's disappointing to see a company with such a strong reputation in the community fall short in honoring those who served. Hopefully the "Rockwall" Chick-fil-A's will reconsider this policy and extend appreciation to all military members past and present. read more

After waiting in line ( I know it's chic fil a ) my food and drink were given to the car in front of me , they noticed after a minute of digging thru the bag , so they told the drive thru staff . They received their order and I was handed to rummaged through food . I told them no and they assured me they remade all of it , how ? I was the next car in line . read more

One of the best Chick-fil-A locations ever, and I've travelled around. Today, I was on my bike riding the nice paths around nearby Cameron Lake, and Phelps Lake, and I hiked into the muddy wetlands forest to sneak photos of Egrets, Herons, and a Scissortail. I also captured close ups of pretty dragonflies. Mission Accomplished, sweaty, with muddy shoes... no way I was going to walk into Chick-fil-A smelling like a buffalo herd! So, I biked into the Drive-thru, and was warmly greeted by staff. BUT... some Karen-dude walking by just had to comment that I shouldn't be in the drivethru on a bicycle! Indiana Jones would have pulled out the bullwhip on this geek. Anyways, Chick-fil-A staff, having vastly greater intelligence than Karen-dude, gracefully took my order for Egg White Grill Muffin Meal (with fresh fruit bowl, and coffee). Payment went thru smoothly, and nobody ran me over. At the pickup window, the youngster handing my food order was hardly bothered that I was on a bicycle... but then... I saw that tiny tear in his eye, he wanted to swap places! Haha! Keep working young man, you can retire young like me! I parked my pedallion stallion at the Chick-fil-A bike racks, probably first human to do so. Sat down at the outdoor umbrella table, and fed my tapeworm! First time for everything. This time I experienced an oddity. Normally we take for granted that a visit to Chick-fil-A will go down without a hitch, this time not so much. We placed a mobile order and went to the restaurant on Goliad. As normal, we were approached by a young lady who was able to see our order. Moments later, another lady approached and stated that our order had been lost in their system. She did not have visibility, and we would have to place another one. This is where I feel the situation took an abrupt left turn. Between trying to give our order, we were asked to keep moving up. Then the lady was engaging the store director. Then the wait. We haven't had an issue before, and I'm giving grace. Just expected a better process after the order was lost, the customer service was not where I would have expected it. read more

If you are a Veteran and have families, I'm sure that you spend a lot of money when visiting these restaurants!!! I'm a retired and disabled veteran and I was informed that I cannot get a military discount because it's for active duty only!!! This is what puzzling to me, Veterans Day is for veterans however; active duty can get a veteran day meal here but active duty members are not Veterans until they complete their obligation of service! Nothing against my fellow brothers and sisters of the Armed Services but why is it that when we the service Men and Women complete our obligations of service for this country we are treated as irrelevant or last class citizens!!! A description of my experience the morning of 12/18/2020. I used their drive-thru because, for some reason, they were not offering curbside pickup. While I was in the line, it froze for at least 10 minutes without moving. I ended up waiting 20 minutes total. When I got my food, it was dry, and they gave me Coke instead of Dr Pepper. If I am going to pay almost 7 dollars for breakfast, it should be quicker, and be done right. The customer service at this location is also lacking. read more

I stopped frequenting Chickfila in general after I noticed this summer that, not only had they raised prices, but they cut down a good amount of the thickness in the chicken breasts in my sandwiches. So, fast forward to tonight, my stomach is not so happy, so I thought a Chickfila tortilla soup and waffle fries would be filling yet not heavy. The fries were less than standard quality, having two of those soggy brown spots, which I ate around. But the soup! Ya'll - there was NO CHICKEN in the whole cup, but I know they do not have a vegetarian version of that soup on the menu!! Though it was 9pm, I was impressed that the soup was as fresh as it would be in the afternoon, because it is rarely ever fresh that late at any location. But no chicken in the whole cup? AND it cost 10 cents more than it did in October! Luckily, I had an extra packet of the tortilla strips they gave me once to make up for giving me cracker packets in the drive thru. I am full, but I am also pretty annoyed, and I couldn't find the comment page in the app to complain, so here I am writing to all of you out there. That soup was like eating a cup of warm, lumpy paste. Absolutely no flavor. I actually briefly wondered if maybe I had Covid and not allergies because I couldn't taste anything, lol! But no, because I was able to taste the ketchup on the fries for sure. My heart goes out to all ya'll out there trying to feed children with these kind of experiences when you can easily pay $8 a head and end up shorting their nutrition anyway. This is just terrible! When it comes to fast food, there is no more "quality." One of the few places we had, Chickfila, has proven that it is just as falliable as any other chain. Let's not have false confidence in these odd times. When you eat out remember to spend on items with easily visible meat, because apparently their disclaimer that "some menu items...may be prepared differently" means "we may not put chicken in the Chicken Tortilla Soup!" read more
