I know this Chick-Fil-A location is IMMENSELY popular and that traffic loops around and causes quite the hubbub on De Zavala, but the staff at this store goes even beyond the usual kind and well-mannered staff at other locations. The staff members win all sorts of points for their big smiles, kind words, and prompt service. I appreciate that, despite a terribly cramped lot, the store has done the best it can at fixing the traffic issue, bringing staff outside to take orders and payment, and get everyone their most delicious order possible. The grilled nuggets here are always well done, not overly cooked and tough like I've experienced at other locations. The soda fountain mix is always the perfect ratio of carbonation to syrup, which can be the worst trick ever if you leave the drive-thru lane without taking a sip first. This is my favorite location and it's on my least favorite street in the whole city. The kids who work there make it the best! I'm always impressed! read more

This location has definitely gotten better the past few times I've been there but it's still a madhouse to get in/out/around during almost any time of the day (after noon) that it's open. They need to do a better job of enforcing Curbside pickup for customers doing curbside. Too many times, people that are dining in or picking up orders inside the restaurant park in these spots and it throws off the whole system because the next parking spot may be way up the the parking lot towards the back and they don't always do the best job of looking for cars outside of the designated stalls. This particular visit out of 3-4 stalls designated for curbside - all were taken. NONE had people inside the vehicles. I would put tow warnings under these and then enforce it and that would nip that real quick. Food quality and presentation were good and the staff was friendly. I never have any issues with requesting extra condiments and getting charged for them like the Rim location (as long as these quantities don't exceed the amounts specified in the app). If you're looking for recommendations my go-to's here are the Cobb salad and the chicken noodle soup. I don't really like their chicken (I know, I know CHICK-fil-a -- but for me it's Soup and Salad fil-A). Their frozen lemonade is also very good and an easy, refreshing way to satisfy a sweet tooth without a ton of extra calories (say versus a milkshake). Hey folks, I'm a silver Chick-fil-A One app member and prefer to leave good reviews of comfort and cheer, but this location has disappointed me more than two times now. So here's my advice to stay happy with your Chick-fil-A experience; especially and specifically if you visit the location off of DeZevala Blvd and Vance Jackson Road. Do NOT... I repeat... Do NOT use the Chick-fil-A One app to place orders if you want to SAVE TIME. Surprisingly, 8 (eight) cars BEHIND me got served before I was served my order. Feeling this was not right and unfair to me, I had to speak to the manager and asked him to help me understand why I am waiting for my order when I planned ahead, placed and payed for my order over 20 minutes ago with 8 cars BEHIND me getting their orders before me. SURPRISE AGAiN...I learned from the store manager, "Ant"onio, that orders placed using the app does NOT save time for the customer; it actually COSTS you more time. Very, very DISAPPOINTING news for an app user; saving time is a basic benefit of using an app. BTW...my order consisted of grilled nuggets and two diet cokes. BEWARE! Using the Chick-fil-A One app gives Chick-fil-a the benefit over YOU because Chick-fil-a gets your immediate payment/sale/money before having to deliver on experience, service and product. So the service, experience and time it takes to get an order can be and is PAINFULLY DISAPPOINTING to you. Take it from me who has experienced this twice now over my last two visits within the last two weeks. It's much BETTER to order like a normal drive-thru customer if you want your order fast. SKIP using the Chick-fil-A One app! Antonio asked me what I wanted to make my experience right. That's easy... do the right thing! Make users/members of Chick-fil-A One app a better, and maybe even best, experience than others! Give them the deserved FAST and excellent experience they want and deserve every time. HOW? Enhance the app frequently in ways that deliver better and better experiences and value to the app members/users. For example, enhance the app to track the member's arrival so the order is ready when they arrive. DUH?! PLEASE, PLEASE do not entertain and accept Antonio's or any other manager's excuse of COVID-19 set backs. That's so over used and consumers are so TIRED of hearing this from businesses. There's been months and months of time to reorganize/plan to the impacts of COVID-19, not to mention the miliions and millions of dollars in profits over the many decades Chick-fil-A has been in business, for them not to step up for its customers and consumers by now. GET IT TOGETHER and DO RIGHT for your paying app customers/members here. BTW... free food, hand outs of ice cream and warm cookies don't solve the problem here. I wouldn't recommend working here at this location. the staff is horrible & super lazy. the store leads aren't very professional or fair with all employees. They try to bring up rules from the handbook but they switch it up and make up their own rules and don't follow it unless you're kissing the leads butt. Got overcharged for my food in the drive-through. No big deal they gave me an extra sandwich but my fries were pure crumbs no amazing big pieces of waffle fries, bottom of the barrel leftovers and then I discovered that my chicken strips were smashed in the bag throw in there like a disregarded $10 chicken strip, super disappointed it definitely wasn't a pleasure this time around Quality Control Chick-fil-A step it up $30 fast food higher expectations. read more

Renovation is complete and the inside is very nice. My favorite is the big table in the middle it seats 8 but addition people can squeeze in or stand. You are greeted when you come in and line moved quickly because all registers were open. The workers walked around the entire time we were here asking if we needed anything or refills and continued non stop. Kids love the indoor play ground and great place to bring them when it's hot. The renovation is nice with new booths and tables. The tile and wood finish are excellent and indoor lighting is amazing near the big seating area. This location is always busy but the workers work hard to get you in and out quick. read more

Avoid this place at all costs during the lunch rush. The parking lot is ridiculously packed and difficult to navigate with customers cutting each other off and forcing their way in. The line stretches out the driveway and into the street in both directions. The drive through, though normally efficient, was having a rough day. The chain has the ideal set up to speed up the drive through process of taking orders on a tablet and accepting payment well before reaching the pickup window, yet they had trouble finding my order when I got to the front of the line to pick up my order. I know, everyone loves Chick-fil-a, so a little wait is expected, but it took a full 30 minutes to get out of there. My grilled chicken sandwich was a little on the salty/dry side and lukewarm--disappointing because I usually like Chick-fil-a. This place has become a dissappointment since COVID. It's ridiculous they're operating only the drive through which they seem to be hiding behind so they don't have to deal with a main dining room. So my wife and I go here at least once a week... I think in the four years going here I maybe have had them mess up on my order less than five times! They are always happy to serve you! This is one of the fastest places I've ever gone for fast food and it always taste good and fresh! Even when they are running two lanes for drive-thru and are backed up to the street I don't think I have ever had it take more than 15-20 minutes from the second I got in line. Can't say that about some of the competitors in the area with half the lines! The only downfall is I always end up having a craving for a spicy chicken sandwich on Sunday when they are closed. I used grub hub to order 2 12-piece chicken nuggets. What arrived was a single box of chicken pieces so small I wouldnt even classify it as a nugget. Completely opposite to r tree he reputation chick fil a has as a good company. I paid 27.00 for this box of chicken crispies. Initially they messed up my order, the fry cartons half filled &the spicy chicken didn't even have a patty it was a chicken tender. we didn't make it till close to closing bc i work till 10pm so by the time we got home &noticed the meal was very disappointing the restaurant already closed, so I left a voicemail. It took almost a week later for me to get a call back (which by then i had completely forgotten about it) &they said they would take care of 2 orders of fries &the spicy sandwich. As we went back last night to get our normal order &only expecting them to comp the 3 items they said they would, Brendan took care of our WHOLE bill. Love the play area here, happy to find a seat where I can watch my little ones explore and find new quick playmates. No one rushes you here and food is the same quality as the majority of the country's. I like the variety of side items you can choose according the kids choice for that day. The store itself is as friendly and clean as Chick-Fil-A typically is. So I usually have great things to say about chick fill a.. But this time around, not so much. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal combo with cheese for myself, a regular chicken sandwich for my boyfriend, chicken nuggets for my daughter and chicken soup for tomorrow's lunch meal. The spicy chicken liked like it was shoved in the bag, the forgot to put my fries in, the nuggets were miscounted and so hard as if they'd been sitting there for a while. I was so unhappy. I called and spoke to a hadlee on the phone and said my boyfriend will be driving back there shortly with this food, please make him fresh food.
