By far the worst restaurant in Marina del Rey, the chicken was cold (something that's very concerning since bacteria grow exponentially at room temperature and can cause illness in people). The "pseudo" managers were terribly rude and even racist - I couldn't speak with the general manager since they don't want me to say what's happening. I will never return here !!! All Chick Fil A's are great but prefer this location because it's easier to maneuver about in the parking lot. I'm always satisfied after eating. Even just the nuggets are filling. I trust it for cleanliness and good service. Some customers in the drive through are rude though and that makes it hard sometimes. People should give this 5 stars. I think the ones who don't like Chick Fil A are just complainers at heart. My first experience with any Chick-full-A however, we went to the one at 4050 Lincoln Blvd, CA 90292. 1) I had my 94 year old friend with me. The ONLY handicapped parking spot was blocked off. The staff outside had no idea as to how to unblock it. 2) My 94 year old friend managed to walk across the parking area to the order line then to the outside eating area as there is "no dine-in" space at this facility. 3) The trash was over flowing at the outside eating area. 4) The food was terrible. a) soggy bun, b) chicken has no taste what-so-ever. c) meat was cold. 5) I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was busy due to short staffing. 6) I finally called the facility and asked to speak to the manager. Her stated name was Jose I. I made an immediate appointment to speak to her in person. Note: She did not have a name tag visible so there was no real way to know her name or position. She did examine the uneaten food and gave a refund for it. Then she took it inside and disposed of it. NOW....I offered to have the other staff throw it away (remember - trash over flowing outside) but stated said they could not take back food to throw it away. 7) Why the double standards? "Manager" can take food and dispose of it inside at the food line (I watched) but other staff cannot? 8) Jose I. First off, I'm just glad that everyone I know back home in South Carolina and visitors from other states lied when saying there's no ChickFilA outside of the South. And when asked if LA ChickFilA is any different, thankfully, I can say no. I drove through (the only option) this one for a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised how quickly the line went and wouldn't have minded sitting on the little outside patio, had I not been in a rush. My order was perfect and everything went smoothly. Will definitely be making pit stops here again... except on Sundays. read more

This chick-fil-a has no indoor seating, just outside seating. So it's unfortunate for those cold nights. Location is great. Employees work well and fast to provide my friends and I with dinner. Parking might be hard if you're going up to the window to order since some people may be eating in their car right by the building. Drive thru is probably the best option. read more

I would rather drive 2 miles to go to any other Chick-Fil-A. This location does have the new Mac and cheese but it is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. it was absolutely gross. The Mac and cheese is sooo bad, I don't get the hype or maybe I got a bad batch. The spicy chicken sandwich could have probably killed me with the amount of sodium so I had to throw both away by the time I got back and ate it. Also this place is ghetto. It would seem nice that they have a drive-thru, pick up window and seating area but the people sitting in the seating area are really sketchy. I biked there and luckily they had a bike rack but I was definitely being cased by two guys who were eyeing to steal my bike and I am not joking that I felt uncomfortable enough to unlock it and bring it with me and wait for my food at the pickup window where they still were looking and hovering closely and waiting in the order line just to order a soda. . . And then they finally walked away. This area of Venice you can find bike chop shops around every corner which is really sad and I wasn't ready to have my bike stolen in broad daylight right in front of me! We went through the drive through on an early Saturday afternoon to order two complete meals. The staff was friendly enough but I had a bunch of issues: 1. The spicy chicken sandwich order came out as a normal chicken sandwich 2. the fries were soft and not hot at all 3. Both drinks were filled to the brim with the little ice before they put our drinks in. I took one sip and I was already halfway through my drink The food taste fine otherwise, but corporate needs to get over here and whip this place up to standard. The quality of food is very poor - I've had a few breakfast items, and the biscuits have been very dry and the chicken tends to be chewy and rubbery. Rude employees refused service because I used the one of the 4 entrances wrong for the drive thru. I am new to the area and wasn't sure how to get in the drive thru of theirs. When approaching the order box a female gets on the radio and says " that's not the entrance. You need to go around to Lincoln or you will not be served here." When I apologize and let them know I just got confused and how to go into the correct entrance she just said "go around Lincoln" which is around the whole city street. And when I ask why my I am the only car in the parking lot and drive thru " she said we are refusing serving you" and got off the radio. I kept saying hello and asking why but nothing. Where do I start, this is a chick fil a that does not meet my usual expectations of this franchise. First and foremost their is no lobby and the outdoor patio is sitting right next to the drive thru. 12 nuggets, more like 8 nuggets and some crisps. I'm a rideshare driver and I've been to more than half the chick fil as in LA county. This is one of the few I don't plan on visiting again. This is the third time I've paid $6 for 2/3rds the chicken I get anywhere else. Service was fine, but this place was backed up like crazy at 8pm and had almost 2 dozen kids inside; many of them just chatting w each other. Getting less food than you paid for is very frustrating, and I'd say grab a sandwich if you need to go to this sub-par location. I'm about to grab one but I'm more inclined to see what else the area has to offer. The drive thru and lines are still packed and not moving much. Brand new location with the same good food and Excellent service. Their chicken is much lighter than other places, the portions are small but the food always tasty. If you don't already know, CHICK-FIL-A is not open on Sundays! All locations. I don't see this as a bad thing, it is just good to know as a pregnant lady craving waffle fries on a Sunday having her husband drive from location to location! I admire this policy which is due to the fact that the owners are religious and they save this day for practicing their faith...even if it costs them $1bn in revenue annually. Two words: Zesty. Buffalo. If you want the best sauce for the lowest amount of calories (less than ketchup!), get at least 2 packs of these, they are amazeballs. I recommend you check your order before you drive/walk away (but, that doesn't warrant me taking away a star because they always apologize if they forget something!) and you can get free drink refills at this location even though it is take-out only. Also, an upgrade to large waffle fries is only $0.20 - don't miss out, upgrade every time!! No wonder this is Kim Kardashian's favourite fast food! It is great, especially for the price. They have always been known for great and polite customer service , not here, from Michael who took my family's order at the register to the girl refilling our drinks. This was the worst experience I've ever had at chick-fil-a!!! I literally could not use the only single stall restroom they had because there was someone camped out inside who yelled at me when I tried to input the key code to access it. When I asked the servers to help me access the restroom, they said they would talk to the manager and then avoided us completely and didn't help at all. The tables are filthy, and the customer service was awful!!!! We waited so long for our food, and our order was incomplete when it was handed to us. We tried to track down an employee to correct the order, but it took an additional 15 mins for one to come to the pick-up window. I would highly recommend avoiding this location. read more

The pros: The food tastes the same as every other Chick-Fil-A, so they get two stars for that. The cons: literally everything else. In terms of wait times, service, competence and ease of access this is the worst one that I've ever been to. Parking and even getting to the drive through line can be really tough on a busy day. That's partly due to the high traffic location and partly due to poor design. Online orders are never ready on time. Their app is bad, which the employees here can't control, but that's no excuse for screwing up an order that's already been entered in for them. I got the two sandwiches and the nuggets that I ordered, but on sauces they went 0-12. Just left them out completely. On the sandwich, they managed to get almost the exact opposite of what I ordered. I ordered pickles, tomatoes, lettuce and no butter. I got butter and nothing else. This was all for an order I placed online, arrived, then watched about 12 cars go through the drive through while I waited. Not sure what the point of ordering online beforehand is if I takes longer to get my food than it would have if I'd just driven through, but I'll drive the extra few miles to the Culver City location from now on. They almost always screw up orders, 3 out of 5 times. We came here today for a quick lunch while running errands and tried to order a shake. Their machine is down, ok fine. They forgot our fries and sauces now we have to go back and wait another 15 min. Additional the yelp app says check in and receive a free cookie and when I showed them the screen the cashier asked her manager about it. They came back with 'we only accept offers directly from our app'. So why is there a free cookie through yelp checkin then? This is very confusing. Good food. Good service. Seating is all outdoor. The good part about this location is that someone comes around and asks if you'd like your beverage refilled. The down side of this place are the amount of pigeons all around the seating area. I get that it's outdoor seating and there really isn't a way to keep the pigeons away, but I mean they walk all over the tables.
