Decided to try this Chik-fil-A as I haven't been to one in a few years. I was going to place my order in the drive thru and there were two guys taking the orders. I asked the guy in the drive thru line I was in to see a menu and he leans over and grabs a menu off the ground to hand me. I looked at him and said no thanks I'm not going to be ordering and just rode the line thru and drove out. If that's how this restaurant (and I use the term loosely) takes sanitation as to just have the menus tossed on the ground after the customer looks at it to go and pick it up and then hand it to another customer.....no thanks. I have been here a few times since the store opened. Each time I received excellent customer service from all the employees, and although the drive thru line was long (which is to be expected, like most chick-fil-A locations) it went quickly. I was impressed with how smooth my visits were, seeing it was a new restaurant. Looking forward many more visits. read more

This location has been our go-to since they opened. They sometimes forgot items in the drive thru like all places and everyone makes mistakes. BUT this last time we went they forgot 2 items! A chicken sandwich and a 4 count strips. Luckily I checked before we drove out of the parking lot. I went back in and told the cashier. She said she'd put the order in for me. Wait what?? "Isn't my food still here waiting? I just went through the drive thru." She said "no, I have to put in an order ". Ok I wait to the side of the counter. After about 10 minutes of waiting and seeing 2 customers walk in and get their food and several cars go through the drive-thru I started getting upset and asking where my missing food was. The "trainer/manager" on duty completely ignored me and wouldn't make eye contact. A very nice employee finally helped me out but I really expected more from Chick-fil-A. They need to really step it up on their customer service!! A customer shouldn't have to wait AGAIN for missing food when they've already waited in the drive thru. I came home to a sandwich with mold on it. Clearly it's right on top. How do you not see that? I've been trying to get ahold of them but the number they have online just hangs up on you. Now I have to save the sandwich and go tomorrow morning. My husband has been having a stomach ache since he ate his egg white grilled. Very mean manager. We arrived at 8:40pm and were eating our food at right at 9:00pm she asked us to leave since the lobby was "closed". I looked around and saw people sitting at tables and mentioned, "Why are they still here?" and she replied, "Because they're waiting for an order", to which I replied, "Okay, just pretend I'm waiting for an order and we'll leave. This location is consistent at least - consistently bad. The waffle fries were soggy and flavorless and the fountain drink mixture was off (too much carbonated water and little syrup). Never again. I hope the corporate office takes measures to improve the food because I'm sorry this franchise is represented so poorly. read more

Orders are usually wrong but it's overlooked.. stuff happens. However, I ultimately dealt with the manager VALERIA for an issue and she was atrocious to deal with. Now I know why this location is the way it is. Someone at corporate should be reviewing yelp and other platforms to really brush up on quality control. No more YUCAIPA location. I'm a bit stunned by all the negative reviews. I've been here numerous times and was never unsatisfied. All my experiences at this location have been very well! The employees were nice and I felt they did their jobs well. I've worked in the food industry for 9 years and I know how snobby and impatient people can be. I've dealt with many experiences with rude customers. These are rough times and it's unfortunate that nobody wants to work. Quality and service has increased dramatically since this location opened. The food is always delicious and the service is great! I've noticed they hire a lot of high school aged kids which I think is great. I know friends that drive from other towns to this location because they say it's better than their local CFA. read more

Their restroom isn't open and they don't advertise this. I went in with my four year old on the verge of an accident and they still wouldn't let me use the restroom. Ridiculous considering it's by the freeway. The dining room is also completely boarded up. This location sucks. read more

I've been coming to Chik-fil-a before California could ruin it. You could always count on two things: friendly staff and HOT food. Today, I received semi-friendly staff and COLD food. I assume they thought that they could give me something crappy and I'd be back on the road and wouldn't come back. And I assume that because the young female didn't apologize or ask if they could make it again. She went straight to "do you want a refund". At first, I said I wanted it made again. But after three seconds of thought I decided I can't give money to people who don't seem to care if I'm there or not. Again, not even an apology. My wife has gone to the Redlands store several times. For the last few times she has ordered her food and unable to find a table even though they are only half full of guest. The tables were dirty and covered in garbage. She has to ask to have a table cleared so she can sit. The food is good but the service is suffering lately. read more

Be warned, if you do an online order, it is right about 75% of the time. It seems like too often I have an item or two missing. The food is good. The employees are very nice, but just double check your order when you receive it. The line takes forever!! 30 minutes to get thru the line when I place a mobile order. And there isn't an option to walk up and grab your food you have to wait in the drive thru line. It's a miserable system. We won't be back to this location until they figure it out they've been open long enough to have a walk up window. Very frustrating! Earlier this week we arrived to this brand new location on our drive back home after my wife's surgery and saw a sign that read only the drive through was open. I figured fine, whatever, we need something to eat as we had been on the road for 2 hours and had another 2 left. However, I saw uniformed law enforcement and first responders allowed into the lobby to use the restroom. I asked if we could please access the restroom as well as my wife needed to go and had was using a walker and explained the surgery. I was informed that only First responders were being allowed access to the restroom. I'm sorry, but that shouldn't be the case, the restrooms are open or they are not, period, full stop. Anyway the drive through employee was super apologetic, I get it wasn't her call, whoever was on the other end of her microphone giving her the response is a jerk if you ask me. Oh yeah, almost forgot, they got my order wrong, but at least my wife's was right. This would normally rate a 3 star. But 1 star it is because from what I was told, this location has been open for approximately 6 weeks and this is the level of service they are providing. Service is horrible! Sat in drive thru for 45 min while they train staff. Not the time to train when you have a line out the parking lot. I get that the employees are new, but do a separate training to learn the ordering system. Don't put them out there not knowing how to do anything! Won't be coming back anytime soon! Today was the most eventful visit...two workers were having a conversation about when they "get to see each other again" at our car window while we were trying to place in our order. today was about the 3rd time there, always a issue, only have drive thru. Today the young girl order taker was horrible, she could not do basic 4th grade math! It was horrible, while I was dealing with her, the other order taker helped about 6 people. She still shorted me about 30 cents, omg. order was 18.40, I gave her 20.50, she insisted change was 1.10, ridiculous, then when I got home, about 15 minutes away, husband opened his sandwich and there were long black hairs in it! Gross! Evidentially they don't take precautions to make sure hair does not get in the food, it was in the sandwich, around the tomato and on the bun, multiple hairs! I drove all the way back and they said sorry and replaced the sandwich. We don't plan on going back to this Yucaipa location, they don't know what they are doing. So I previously rated this store with a negative 3 star rating. Because my grandkids are fans of Chick-fil-A, I decided to try it again. I'm very glad I did! The line was still long but moved rather quickly and the employees were all working well. The food was piping hot and exactly what Chick-fil-A is known for!! Once they allow indoor ordering and accept the Chick-fil-A mobile app and keep up with the food and employee quality they should move to 7stars. read more
