Marinated chicken breast w/ two sides - Boneless Breast Chicken

I ordered the marinated chicken meal with two sides. collard greens and yellow rice and black beans. Nice sized portions for the price. First time at chick n bone, the staff was very knowledgeable and gave good customer service upon me walking through the door

This is a nice cafe nestled in a strip mall. Their menu reminds me of Pollo Tropical however this is not a Spanish place. The service was great. They were polite and efficient. FYI: This restaurant plays religious music.

So so so good! Their dishes never disappoint while we we're waiting we decided on chick-n-bones for dinner. The best menu items for me is the steak and cheese and the chicken breast and you have to get a side of the white peppercorn sauce with it because it's absolutely amazing and their chicken is so juicy and tender you're going to eat the whole plate. The steak and cheese has a tender beef with what could be a little bit more cheese but also just so good on the hoagie roll. Definitely left full after this one.

Always have this place delivered from Doordash. Today I finally was in the neighborhood and decided to go pick it up myself. Nice little hole in the wall. Quite small and quaint. But the food speaks volumes. I like their chicken a lot! Their sides are all pretty good and u gotta get the pita bread on the side! 5 stars!

We were looking for a place to eat before our painting eveb and this place is in the same strip mall. There wasn't anyone inside, however the reviews were good so we went in.. We wanted pork and they were out of that, so I ordered a Chicken quarter with two sides. Mac and Cheese and Rice and Beans. The Mac and Cheese was not very good. It lacked flavor and was clumpy, I added salt and that didnt help so it just sat there on my plate. The rice and beans were good, cooked correctly and flavorful. I also liked the Chicken, it was seasoned well and tender. The problem was my breast and wing did not have much meat on it. ( it looked like there was) I take home 1/2 of most almost everything I order at a restaurant, so if it's not enough food for me the dish isn't a value. My sons BBQ Chicken sandwhich was good, his baked beans were not. A spicier sauce to mix in with them might have helped, however they only had one BBQ sauce option. I will probably not eat here again.

We came here with a local flavor coupon and were very happy with our food. Had the "No Name" with blackened chicken. Friendly, helpful staff in deciding what to eat. Will gladly come back to patronize the business again.

I've passed by this place so many times thinking it was just a catering place. I didn't realize it was a restaurant specializing in flame broiled chicken. My hair stylist (Phillip) recommended it when I was contemplating what to get for mom on the way home. He mentioned the "No Name" which consists of yellow rice, black beans, and chopped chicken. He also mentioned that the chicken is chopped up as you wait. That sounded good to me so I stopped by on the way home. I'm so happy I took his advice yet again. As I was about to walk in, I noticed some pictures of the food and the menu posted on the storefront window. It was the chicken that called my name. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful man behind the counter. He explained the menu to me, and made some suggestions. I got the 3 piece (all dark) dinner which comes with 2 sides and pita or Cuban bread. I got the chicken & pasta soup and sweet plantains which I knew mom would love. I got the chicken pita sandwich which comes with a side of their parmesan pepper dressing. He immediately started chopping up the chicken and preparing our meal. It was all done quickly and professionally. I was out of there within 15 minutes. Great service! I arrived with my bag of goodies. Mom was super happy to see chicken. It smelled so good. The taste was even better. The dark meat was juicy and the skin was amazingly good. The skin was so tasty and crispy. They must use butter to baste it. It was very reminiscent of the Kenny Rogers chicken chain (back in the day), and very close to a rotisserie chicken that I used to get at Milam's when I lived in Miami. I'm definitely going back to get a whole chicken next time. It was pretty awesome! The plantains were nice and sweet, but a little charred on the outside. It was still very good considering it was overdone. Mom really liked her chicken soup. It had large pieces of chicken and tricolor pasta. She is a fan. The chicken pita was just as good. Not as juicy as the leg and thigh, but it had good flavor and the chicken was plentiful. The parmesan pepper sauce complimented the pita sandwich. The pita was pretty terrific too. I will be back for more chicken. I also want to try their wraps, salads, and the "No Name" one day soon. The family package prices look very reasonable, and they even have a Taco Tuesday special (3 for $6.07).

Chicken Salad to go. SO MUCH CHICKEN! YUM!!

I am a sucker for a good salad (judge me). I work in the Brandon area every now and then so I wanted to try something new, hoping to find a lunch option that was somewhat healthy but still filling. This place was on point. I got a chicken salad (which was a garden salad with their amazing chopped chicken on top) for around $8. The amount of chicken that they put on it is generous. The rest of the salad was so fresh and they provide plenty of dressing on the side. Their ingredients are fresh and everyone who works there is very pleasant. The chicken was so tender and I can't wait to go back and try their other menu options. YUM!!

Chicken tacos and black beans and rice.

I stopped in here for the first time today with my daughter. We had an appointment in this plaza and were looking for a taco Tuesday nearby and this came up in the search. I have driven by this location for years and, unfortunately, never visited. The owners were very friendly. The restaurant was clean. My daughter and I both ordered tacos (only available on Tuesdays), and a side of black beans and rice. The chicken on the tacos was very tasty, and I believe the shells were homemade. Much better than a chain restaurant. Quick, friendly service, and fresh food. I'm looking forward to returning to try some of the other menu items.

Well, they've earned their rating with good reason!…read more A friend and I went on a bit of an unplanned adventure yesterday as the first place we were going to go to was closed for an event. After driving 30 minutes to that place in Plant City and realizing this, we decided, "why not drive some more?". Josephine's was on my radar due to their great reviews across multiple platforms, so we drove another 20-30 minutes to check it out. We arrived at the unsuspecting strip plaza, walked in to what was just one well lit, cozy strip in the plaza and were immediately greeted by Robby, the owner, who asked us if it was our first time in. We let him know that it was, and he proceeded to educate us on everything they have to offer, from their bar, their sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pastas, grocery and so on... the meatball sandwich was calling my name, along with their pizzas and their pastas - so many choices! I did land on the meatball sandwich and got a bag of chips and a glass of wine while my friend got the Italian salad and a coke. For note, this ran us about $45. It was well worth it. The meatball sandwich was 10" and was stuffed with fully ground beef meatballs, seasoned well and very cheesy - so good. I tasted the salad and it was great as well, with plenty of parmesan cheese to cover up the taste of leaves that I was consuming (I'm not a vegetables guy still). While we were dining at the bar, Robby took a bit more time to tell us how the store came to be, being named after his grandmother who, though she wasn't around to see what he had started, would no doubt be very proud as his/his employee service was excellent and the food was no different. At the end of our experience, Robby took our payment and we explored the store a bit. Robby was kind enough to offer me two of their mini cannolis and my friend a scoop of their salted caramel gelato on the house as a way of saying thank you for coming in; again, EXCELLENT service. Since leaving there yesterday, I have recommended the place to 7 people and will continue recommending it to more people due to their great value, service and delicious food. Huge thanks to Robby and the team at Josephine's for knowing how to do things the right way. I'll definitely be back.

We stumbled upon Josephine's Italian Market, less than 15 minutes from our home, and it has become one of our favorite special-occasion spots. The market itself is such a fun experience. They have a thoughtfully curated selection of imported Italian products, a refrigerated and freezer section with prepared foods to take home, shelves of authentic pantry staples, a small espresso and Italian beverage bar, and a fantastic deli with fresh meats like prosciutto, capicola, and everything you'd hope to find in a true Italian market. One thing that really stood out was how welcoming everyone was. I brought my toddler with me, and instead of feeling like I was trying to juggle shopping while keeping him entertained, the staff genuinely embraced him. They were so kind and engaging that it made the entire visit relaxed and enjoyable. Now for the food... absolutely incredible. Their Hot Honey Pizza is easily one of the best pizzas I've had outside of Italy, and their authentic Italian sub is unquestionably in my top five ever. The chicken cutlets, salads, and other prepared foods have all been consistently outstanding. I also love browsing their selection of authentic Italian wines to take home. Is it more expensive than grabbing pizza or subs from a chain? Absolutely. But the quality, authenticity, and overall experience make it worth it. We don't think of Josephine's as an everyday stop--we think of it as our go-to place for special occasions, family gatherings, or anytime we want to treat ourselves to food that genuinely reminds us of Italy. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, exceptional sandwiches, outstanding pizza, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Josephine's Italian Market is absolutely worth the visit. We're so grateful to have a place like this so close to home!

Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I won't be returning. I stopped in around 3:00 p.m. and was happy to see it wasn't busy. I went to the deli counter, waited for someone to serve me, ordered my chicken salad, grabbed a soda and chips, and headed to the open register. As I walked up, the cashier called another customer over ahead of me. I waited while he spent several minutes deciding whether to pay cash or by card because of the 4% card fee. I continued standing there with my three items, to the point that I actually set them down and debated walking out. Then, instead of helping me, the cashier motioned for an entire family to come to the registereven though I had been standing there waiting before they arrived. After that, she waved over another customer, and I had to wait while a mother and her two teenagers decided which desserts they wanted. Again, I stood there patiently. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, no "thank you for waiting," nothing. The first thing I was asked was, "Do you have a pickup order?" I said no. She then motioned for my chicken salad container, saying she needed it. I placed it on the scale and set my other items on the counter. The cashier then asked, "Are you okay?" I simply shook my head because, honestly, I wasn't. Instead of recognizing why I was frustrated, she continued talking, making comments, and escalating the interaction rather than simply ringing me up. At that point, I asked, "Do you want to argue? Do you want me to go back and forth with you?" I then asked who the manager was. She pointed to a woman beside her, who identified herself as the owner. I asked if she could ring me up instead. Even then, the cashier continued making comments. It was only after she continued engaging me that my voice became louder in response. Rather than addressing the repeated comments from her employee or asking what had happened, the owner immediately said, "Do not raise your voice at my employee." That response was disappointing. There was no concern for the customer experience, no apology for repeatedly being skipped in line, and no attempt to resolve the situation. There was also no acknowledgment that the interaction had been escalated by the cashier's continued remarks before I ever raised my voice. The irony is that I have spent a significant amount of money catering from Frankie's Deli over the years because my customers love the food. Good food will bring people in once. Great customer service keeps them coming back. Sadly, this experience ended that relationship for me. There are plenty of places with great food, but respect and customer service matter just as much. One final thought: this is Florida not NY. Hospitality goes a long way. The aggressive, dismissive attitude I experienced isn't what I expect when supporting a local business. I won't be back.
