It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show). My order went through KFC's app, which I downloaded now for the 1st time. This location, a block from Penn Station and MSG certainly gets a lot of customers, keeping the KFC busy behind the counter. That being said, all the tables had crumbs and, while I'm eating, some guy came in rummaging through the trash foraging for something to eat and exited with a discarded bucket - making the experience less than optimal. Putting that aside, here's the other reasons this meal dropped from 3 to 2 stars: While I enjoyed KFC Original Recipe Tenders more than a chicken nugget, they gave me Buffalo Ranch sauce instead of the KFC Sauce I ordered. They corrected it, but having now tasted also their Comeback Sauce, I'd order that in the future over the KFC Sauce. The biscuit and was much smaller and drier than I remember, or get elsewhere. The fries were also not something to write home about. The place was empty and as I'm looking around, one staff came out, did not acknowledge us at all even though there was no one in the restaurant. He was on his phone. A bit taken surprised I decided to let it go and see how the food is. I just ordered the tenders. In less than two minutes they let me know the food is ready which alarmed me since there were no customers. Once we stepped outside I decided to open the box just to make sure everything is going to be ok. The chicken tenders were warm-hot. The chicken was juicy and the batter was tasty with spices. From what I observed if they don't change customer service, the place may close down. I will go just because I do really like the tenders but need to work on service.
