Honestly, very disappointed. I go in on my lunch break, wait in line for 10 minutes, just to be told that there's "no extra skin." Chicken Kitchen is great, but the skin is where the flavor is at. The guy taking my order refused to take a piece of skin off of one of the many chicken breasts. Really dude? I can CLEARLY see that you have extra skin. I've been coming here for a couple of years now, usually getting the chicken breast platter with teriyaki chicken, mashed potatoes and beans. Delicious food, quick service, and ypu feel good after eating unlike fastfood. But suddenly I can't get the meal I normally get that I had gotten only two days ago. I'm told by an employee that he can't make that, there is a new manager, excuses excuses. My boyfriend can't even customize his meal with the toppings that are available to ADD or REMOVE. Basically the employee either didn't want to do his job or has no idea how, so we walked out and will not be back for awhile. Sad when you wake up craving it, get there for lunch just to be told they can't do anything. read more

The food is good and it always will be. I give a poor review today for the same thing that happens at every single chicken kitchen I've been to. Chicken portions get smaller while the price stays the same or goes up. The restaurant has good food, but today I ordered 2 "Regular" chop chops which is the biggest plate you could get. When the food arrived I was shocked at how little chicken was in the plate. There's is more chicken in a 6 piece chicken McNuggets box from McDonald's than in BOTH regular chop chops. This is unacceptable and I will not be buying food from here again. Save your money, or go somewhere else read more

The location is decent, but the cleanliness is always lacking. The dining room is always dirty (tables and chairs always have food on it). The location is close to where I work my part-time so I end up coming here often. I try not to eat in because I know that the restaurant would be dirty. Gave it 3 stars because of location and because it is one of the few healthy choices in that area. read more

I've been going there for years but never again. The management staff is extremely cheap with their chicken servings and this particular location has decided to cut the coupons at the bottom of its menus in order not to have customers present a discounted meal. Mind you the manager will tell you "oh because it's expired" which is false. The receipts that print out after every transaction on Mon-Fri will have a 20% off meal on weekends only. The management staff on several occasions will crumple up the discount receipt as to not give it to the customer for future use. This place is almost never clean with food and garbage on the floor and I always see at least 4-5 associates at one time. When you ask them for others sauces besides the yellow curry they look at you like it's a problem. Most customers might not realize what's happening but pay attention next time and see how they run this place. I have called to complain but the number does not work, that is a horrible business model. read more

The chicken was good, the sides not so good - I'm not one to ever add salt to any food but for the first time in a very long time, I had to seek the salt. Yes, I understand it's healthy food but can we use healthy spices & herbs? Regardless, I will be back as the price for the amount of food you get was very fair (ate twice out of one meal). Also, as you probably know when you eat healthy...the taste is somewhat irrelevant and 9 out of 10 times, I'm just looking to fuel up to keep me going - I will gladly add some salt. So I come to this location today during lunch time and was appalled by the worst customer service I have ever received in my life! I pull up to the shopping center and when looking for parking I realize my baby had fallen asleep in the back seat. I manage to find parking literally right in front of their door. So I called the restaurant and speak to a young woman. I explain to her that I am calling to place an order, but that I am parked right in front of their door with a sleeping baby in the car. I proceeded to ask her if she could take my order and then have someone meet me at their door so I could quickly run out and grab it. She asks me what my order was and so I tell her. When I tell her what kind of sauce I want she answers me with "well since you're picking up, I can give you the 2 containers and you can serve yourself the sauce." And I said "yeah but I can't go inside your store to do that because I don't want to leave a sleeping baby in the car. Can you please just give me some already in the containers?" Her answer was "I really don't have time for that right now because I'm really busy." So I ask her "but don't you make deliveries and provide those orders with sauces already put into containers?" And her answer was "yeah but you're not a delivery, you're picking up." ARE YOU SERIOUSLY KIDDING ME?!?!?? I told her to forget about my order, hung up and drove away. I seriously hate the fact that at EVERY CHICKEN KITCHEN in Miami cheaps out on the amount of chicken they serve you. It is unjustified to charge $8-9 for a chop-chop and give less than a quarter of the chicken for that meal. That used to never be like that. The fact that this has been happening for the last few years is the primary reason why I choose to go to EVERY competitor to chicken kitchen. You pay the same prices but receive double the chicken. Also, I tried to go to the corporate website to log a complaint regarding the poor serving size relevant to the entire meal and price, and the section where you contact someone from corporate is BLOCKED!!! That is beyond horrible for business practice. Especially for an industry that caters to the public, if you want to remain the best you have to listen to what your clientele has to say in order to improve as a franchise. I WILL NEVER EAT at chicken kitchen again as long as this pathetic serving size of chicken remains in effect. so bad, don't bother trying it. I observed the serving staff serve rice, chicken, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes with the same serving utensil, cross contamination is inevitable here! I told the manager, he never fixed the issue. I was there for about a half hour with my family, and saw the serving staff continue to do the same thing with EVERY plate of food. If you have allergies, you need to know they are careless and reckless, and quite frankly do not care. Their management was very nonchalant about fixing the issue. I AM DONE WITH YOU! I ordered a side of chicken (2 ounces-$2.59), a side of brown rice (8oz-$2.39) and a side of guacamole (1oz-$.79). My bill is $8.52... I ask "How is this $8.52?" Cashier: "You have a Oriental." "No, I have 3 small sides." Manager: "This is the same as a Chop Chop, and it LOOKS like more food than just 3 sides." Me: "Well, that is what I ordered, so go get the 3 sides and charge me accordingly please." Manager: "Ok, $6.21". He actually dumped out the food that was on the plate, measured back out another 8 ounces of rice, chopped up a 2 more ounces of dried up chicken and added the side of guac..... Guess what...? It was the exact same amount of food the other employee had given me. The manager yelled at the employee on top of that for giving me more food than I should have had! They were charging me on how my ordered LOOKED! WTF. No more with you people. This location deserves zero stars, but in order to do a review, I had to issue it one star. This location is poorly run. Everything about it is bad. The facility itself is filthy. The chairs/tables are always covered w/food (I've never seen anyone cleaning either), and the drinks/condiment station is ALWAYS brimming with flies. ALWAYS. I stopped going in to eat, but decided to order for delivery. I've given this place so many chances, but always a fail. Like most fast food places, when called, you're placed on hold. The difference here? They never come back to the phone! After calling a few times, someone took my order. I could barely get a word in edge wise. He kept talking over me!!! The delivery took over an hour to get here. When I called the store to inquire why, they didn't apologize or offer any type of compensation, just made the excuse that they are 'busy'. The food arrived shortly after, COLD & nasty. Every time I try delivery from there, this is what happens. Extremely cheap management and chicken servings are always scaled back. The amount of chicken this location gives you is a joke. The staff is cheap with their servings. For the price I pay I would rather visit other chicken restaurants for the same price or cheaper.
