Garlic 1/4 Lemon Basil Chicken Combo Hummus & tabouleh

This place is located right in the corner of Palace Verde Drive and Western in a plaza so there's parking available. Order takeout and I got their garlic chicken which came with two sides. I got it with Tabouleh and hummus and this was absolutely fire. My friend got their spicy spinach, chicken salad, which looked OK I didn't try it, but it looked kind of dry. I love how fresh everything is here top tier chicken. I recommend.

This is a staple in the household. Great taste, quality food. Roasted chicken with your choice of side such as rice or vegetables among other things. A two whole chicken meal with sides is about $60. This feeds 7 adults or 3 hungry teens. Best to go during off hours (after lunch). Service is always good. Enjoy.

We ordered food for our family as a treat and one of the meals was completely missing the second side. Searched both bags and it was nowhere to be found. Very disappointed with this. Overall the food was food, but the prices keep going up, so to pay for something we never even received feels ridiculous.

We're so thankful that we came back and had great service with Manager Yesenia and Customer Server Andrea. They were kind and generous, and the portions were great and flavorful, and we will definitely come back when we're in the area! The service was all around great! Don't take my word for it come and try.

I've been to several chicken maison's and let me tell you -- they are NOT all the same. This location was very warm immediately upon entry and I felt welcomed right away by multiple staff. The service is excellent and very fast--we waited 5 minutes for two plates with different kebabs. The first thing I noticed was the flavor--so different from the other locations! You could really taste everything, from the hummus to the meat. The ambiance is welcoming and the music being played kept me Shazamming all of the songs to add to my playlist. We ate so fast, I didn't get any photos of the food. But it was my first time here and I was pretty blown away. We were very nicely gifted Honey-glazed pita chips by Christian as a to-go gift and I'm very grateful! Thank you for the wonderful experience from a chain I've learned to just kind of accept as meh +.

We had a large order for about 15 people so we were worried it would be too much of a hassle but Christian was very helpful and beyond patient. It's my first time coming to this location and I'm already impressed! Mahalo for the service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Finally got to try this place!!! It did not disappoint. I got the half chicken lemon basil flavor and it was delicious. Even the kiddos enjoyed their fettuccine pasta with chiken which was surprisingly delicious. The music is mellow and not too loud. Christian made sure we got great service. Christian and his team took great care of us. We had to feed 80 staff members for teacher appreciation week, Christian and his staff were so helpful! They were patient and took their time going over everything with me. They also donated desserts for the staff. On the pick up day, they had everything ready for us and helped us to the car. They provided us with more than enough serving utensils, plates and napkins. All the staff members at Dapplegray Elementary were extremely happy!! The food was delicious as always, and was more than enough to feed everyone! Thank you again for helping us out, and we'll be sure to use you guys again for next year's teacher appreciation week!

DELICIOUS FOOD! QUICK SERVICE! I've heard of this place a few times, and finally got to try it! Very pleasantly surprised! I wasn't expecting the food to be this good for such a casual restaurant. The staff was very attentive, checking in on us throughout our meal, and making great recommendations. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine pasta, which is currently a special. I also got the sole fish plate. Both were absolutely delectable, but the shrimp pasta was a 10000/10! I got a spicy garlic sauce on the side that added a perfect kick to the dish! Plus I really appreciated how big the shrimp were and that they gave a good portion (6). The fish was yummy, and the sides were perfectly prepared. I finished everything off with the brownie, and it was the PERFECT brownie! Thick, moist, and gooey! I wish I ordered a second one! I'll definitely be returning :) Totally recommend for anyone who hasn't tried it out! And I must add that the manager was extremely hospitable! I didn't get his name, but he definitely made sure I was satisfied!

Let me start by saying the inside facelift is beautiful! The beautiful site was followed by a wonderful take out experience!! Christian and Irwin were a great help ! We walked into the restaurant and greeted by Christian. I had questions about the menu and he answered them and kindly, even though there were people behind me waiting to order as well. his recommendation of the Maison Special salad was spot on; it is quite delicious. My wife has picked up the brownie from here before, so I already knew that that was amazing, but I did not expect a salad to blow me away the way that it did. Christian knows what's up when it comes to customer service.

I've been to a few Chicken Maison locations, but this one is definitely a favorite. The staff here is super friendly and always greets you with a smile, which makes a big difference. The food is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious -- you can tell they really care about quality. Whether I'm getting the lemon garlic chicken or just a simple wrap, it always hits the spot. I decided to try this place because my coworkers all said it was really good so I wanted to give it a try. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza. There is an outside dining area. The inside looks renovated and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. You order at the counter and they give you a number afterwards. I ordered the 1/4 lemon basil chicken rotisserie. It comes with 1 wing and 1 thigh. I got rice and steamed vegetables as my two sides. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and made to perfection. But I did think it was too lemony for me. The sauce or brine (not sure what it is) was yellow from the lemon. But it still tasted delicious to me. I would recommend this place and definitely excited to eat there again. read more

I love coming here and I don't get to as I would like, so when I do it's always a treat for me. The food is amazingly delicious. The chicken meat falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. I never tried the spicy potato salad and I wish I had!!! Oh myyyy so damn good!! I couldn't stop raving about it. I like how it's so spacious inside to sit and eat. Very upsetting, I've never heard of a quick service restaurant cut off dine in time a whole 30 minutes before closing. We ordered our food then afterwards the manager comes over to tell us that it has to be to go, that they were closing in 30 minutes, we told them it wouldn't take that long to eat--they didn't care. Absurd. We walked out, not coming back. read more

My daughter requested Chicken Maison for her graduation after party. We love the food & dined at the one in Harbor City, time & again. The place is always welcoming by the staff & clean. First time trying Chicken Maison. Upon seeing this place on my daily commute I always saw this place jam packed with customers. Today was the day I gave it a try. Upon coming in you're greeted by all the staff members on shift which was really awesome. I had a billion questions regarding the menu, but Marlene was amazing and patient with me regarding the numerous amount of menu options Chicken Maison has. I ended up getting the beef kabob and my good ness it was amazing! I can definitely see why this place is always packed with people. The meat was so juicy and well seasoned. My only regret is not coming here any sooner. Marlene was super helpful and very positive as well! The ideal person you want making a first good impression and a representation of the kind of staff they have here. Love love love this place! Very friendly service by Chris. He was running things very well, assuring staff was doing what was needed, he greeted people, took orders and made everyone feel welcomed. Our favorite is the BBQ wings plate, lemon basil quarter chicken, and the chicken Kabob plate. The food is always fresh and tasty. Ordered the chicken pita sandwich and I was disappointed. They certainly didn't skimp on the chicken in fact looks like the cook just put a huge piece of chicken breast in the pita without bothering to cut it up in bite size pieces . Usually they garnish the chicken with a dressing which makes it more appetizing and flavorful. It consequently tasted very bland. My wife order a Chinese chicken salad, and there again the pieces of chicken in the salad necessitated using a knife for every bite. The pieces were too big for a Chinese chicken salad which in actuality should be bite size or shredded. This is not the norm since I go there often enoughand I hope the cook will receive instructions on how to present these two items. read more

I'm a long time customer of Chicken Maison, even gave it a nickname - Chix Maize. The service at the Harbor City location is especially fantastic! Leo, manager-Christian and the rest of team always provide exceptional customer service. Everything is so good but my most favorites is the Fattoush salad (a secret menu item). It's always the absolute freshest and nothing can compare. I tried to go somewhere else to get my fave and it didn't quite cut it. The food here is amazing! Got the 6 spicy legs and the chicken was juicy, sauce is amazing. Really recommend eating that with the baked potato for the perfect balance. Fantastic service from Christian! We had a great experience dining at Chicken Maison, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Christian. He was sharp, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. You could tell he cared about giving great service; he checked in at the right times, got everything right with our order, and had a super friendly attitude the whole time. It's rare to find someone who's both professional and personable, but Christian nailed it. Definitely made our meal even more enjoyable. read more

First time trying this place and it was so delicious ! I had the shrimp Alfredo pasta and it was the best pasta I've had! Dixon went above and beyond and made sure I liked the food. We jokingly asked the server if it was a mistake to get so many appetizers, to which he firmly replied, "You like cheese. I can tell. You'll eat this, no problem." When I tell you we cleared those plates, I mean we absolutely demolished them. We loved all three! The Halloumi won as the overall favorite, but it was a fierce debate with strong support for each dish. Based on the Yelp reviews talking about how good the lamb is, I got the Lamb Souvlaki sandwich. It was delicious! The lamb was incredibly well-cooked, quite tender and very flavorful. The whole package of the pita, with the lamb balanced against the tzatziki and salad, was fantastic. If you're a meat-eater, I highly recommend it. If you're a vegetarian, my family also really enjoyed the Falafel sandwich and the Spanakopita. The Spanakopita was made like a turnover and its pastry was super buttery, perfectly light and flaky. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, nicely moist. It was a hit! The service was very quick and the staff was very friendly. While my family initially raised their eyebrows at the restaurant (it's sandwiched between a motel and a car wash), they were converted by the cheese and were devotees by the time we finished our entrees. At first, I thought the restaurant didn't have its own parking lot since it's connected to a small hotel. The restaurant itself is easy to spot from the outside and isn't confusing to find at all, but I wasn't sure where guests were supposed to park. I ended up parking farther away and walking over. Once inside, I noticed a sign mentioning restaurant parking and learned that customers can park in the hotel's lot. I mention this only to save future customers a little confusion--it wasn't a big deal at all, and I quickly moved my car closer. The restaurant itself is relatively small and connected to one of those cozy hotels you often see around the LAX area. It has the feel of a hidden local spot rather than a busy tourist destination, which honestly adds to its charm. I arrived around 5:30 PM and was surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty. There were only a couple of occupied tables, and only one more arrived while we were there. Honestly, I don't know what people are thinking because they're missing out on something special. I was dining with my 8-year-old nephew, one of those kids who survives almost exclusively on chicken nuggets, noodles, ranch, and other familiar foods. Getting him to try something new is usually a challenge. I ordered him a chicken gyro, and he absolutely loved it. I jokingly told him the tzatziki sauce was ranch, and from that point on he was completely sold. For myself, I ordered the moussaka. I chose it purely for the experience, not because I expected to love it. It turned out to be one of the most delicious restaurant dishes I've had in months. Seriously, months. The layers of eggplant, meat, and creamy béchamel came together perfectly. It was rich, comforting, and unforgettable. The funniest part? My nephew kept asking for more of my food. He was convinced the eggplant was chicken and ended up eating nearly half of my moussaka. If an extremely picky 8-year-old enjoys a dish like that, I think that says everything. We also ordered the lamb souvlaki, which was outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. This place is a true hidden gem. The food was exceptional, the service was friendly, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Our bill came to about $86 before tip for three entrées and two Cokes, and honestly, it was some of the best money I've spent on food all month. Will I be back? Absolutely. In fact, I'm already planning to return within the next few weeks. If you've never tried Greek food before, this is a great place to start.

We also ordered the steak (asada) quesadilla. My goodness they don't mess around - they use a really big flour tortilla and pack it with fresh cheese and loads of meat. They don't skimp on the meat. It was so good, I wanted to save it to have seconds the next day. For drinks, we ordered the Horchata which I must say was delicious and homemade. You could tell it wasn't the powdered/artificial horchata. This one was truly made from scratch the way every horchata should be made. Did I mention they make their taco tortillas fresh by hand on-site? Definitely excited we found this hidden gem in the Southbay. Then ask if you've been to a Chicken Maison before. I felt so bad for this girl who was working their because she looked all confused I'm guessing she was new. She should thank her boss because he helped her bust tables and made sure all his customer were satisfied. Where can you fine someone who has a heart of gold. Caring for his employees and his customers. Great guy he is. I told my friend to ask for his name so we can leave him a yelp review. What a wonderful Restaurant very friendly staff. It was me and my wife's first time at a Chicken Maison the minute we walked in we were greeted by the staff. Me and my wife had Assists from a nice gentleman. I told him we haven't been here before and asked him what would he suggest. He told me they have a special number 1 Quarter chicken rice and a salad he also mentioned Maison special salad, and a Chinese chicken salad for my wife. My wife chose the Chinese chicken salad dressing on the side and I tried the spicy chicken kebab. I believe his name was Jon he was wearing black so I'm guessing that's the Manager. He was very helpful in helping out a married couple who wanted to try something new. Thanks for the excellent customer Service. We look forward in going back here next week. read more

I can't say enough good things about this location! We come here once a week, and while the food is delicious, the staff truly makes the experience special. Huge shout-outs to Yesenia and Nancy--they are incredibly hard-working, always smiling, and never just standing around. They are so attentive that even my kids point out how friendly they are. Irvin is also great and always adds to the positive energy. We love the Maison Special, the pita with garlic sauce, and the 6-piece spicy chicken leg deal. The portions are generous and definitely enough to share! To wash it all down, their drinks are so refreshing; I highly recommend the hibiscus and the watermelon for the kids. I ordered a honey pistachio pita chips for my daughter. The manager immediately gave me an extra pita chip pack for my daughter to have all for herself. I was like wow. When it came time to pay, the manager skipped all the prompts which did not allow me to tip I was like hey I wanted to tip you he said next time. When I arrived home upon opening the bags of food, not only was there an additional pita chip pack, three altogether, but an entire package of pita bread in plastic. The worker assisting customers before me acknowledged and addressed each person, but when it was my turn, he completely ignored me. I had an amazing experience at the Harbor City Chicken Maison location! The service was exceptional, and I was really impressed by how helpful the staff was. I accidentally placed my order at the wrong store, but Christian was super accommodating--he canceled the order at the other location and made sure my food was prepared here without a hitch. As always, the food was fantastic! You can't go wrong with their chicken kabob plate or any of the gyro plates. Highly recommend this spot for both the great food and outstanding customer service. I've been coming to Chicken Maison for years but this location is my favorite out of them all. The food is always fresh, but the service is what really sets this location apart. The service staff is always very friendly and helpful, and the dining area itself is always clean. I actually live half way between this and the Crossroads location, but I prefer coming to this one because of the consistency of the food and customer service. Even if you don't live near this location, all the Chicken Maison locations are great, I highly recommend giving them a try. read more

My SO and I started coming this Chicken Maison a little less than a month ago and am beyond satisfied with our experience at this location. We enjoy it so much we have been there probably about 5 times, and each time we go, we are ALWAYS greeted by Janiene ( sorry if I misspelled it) who is just the sweetest. She recommended the Spicy Coleslaw and we are obsessed. She always offers us to taste other items as well! If not her, other employees will check up on us and other customers to see if we need anything else. I highly recommend this place ! read more

What a wonderful day at Chicken Maison. I was greated by the whole staff and felt very welcomed. It was my first time and the first person who helped me right away was the Manager i think his name was Jon, we was a great help he told me the specials they had. I told him what taste good to him or what does he like. I was told the Spicy chicken Kabob my goodness it was amazing. These location has a really nice Manager very professional and great attitude. The atmosphere of the place is young and very loud. The kithen staff was so nice even if they spoke little English. When I sat down they had a very hard working Manager who is always checking on his customer's to see if they needed anything else. I spoke to him for a few minutes my goodness he was amazing I asked one of the staff members Taylor what is your managers name she told me Jon. But the funny thing was I forget they have name badges. Anyway thank you for the great service I hope to bring my family here very soon. read more
