I visited the Crenshaw location last night around 8:15pm, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the woman taking our order seemed irritated that we were there, even though they don't close until 9pm. We felt rushed while trying to decide what to order, which made the experience uncomfortable right from the start. After we sat down, my boyfriend greeted a couple of his clients. The manager made a comment saying, "Wow, someone is popular tonight," which could have been friendly--but when he responded kindly, she followed up with, "Don't flatter yourself." That felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Throughout the rest of our visit, the service continued to feel unwelcoming. When my boyfriend asked for a to-go container, he was told she would have to get it, and when he also asked for a pita to go, she sighed and appeared annoyed. He later asked for a lid for my salad dressing after it fell, and again, her response felt inconvenienced. This isn't the first time we've experienced this kind of attitude at this location, which is disappointing. There were still customers coming in and ordering, so it wasn't as if they were closed or unable to serve. Overall, the lack of basic customer service and friendliness really stood out in a negative way. read more

Food is always delicious and fresh to order. I wanted a refreshing dinner so I choose Chicken Maison! A close friend and I went to grab a bite to eat because I mentioned the salad and he said he never ate there. Come to find out he actually did eat there years ago and didn't hear the name of the place when I recommended it. My convincing didn't go as planned due to the fact that he already had a healthy fav of his own. Maybe next time! I feel the Salad is the best! The service was great! When we arrived no one was seated inside. We thought how great is this, it'll be nice a quiet! To our surprise as soon as our food came out, crowds of family's and friends can in to enjoy dinner as well. I don't blame them! It's in a nice area in a busy shopping center. There is a Home Good next door along with Home depot, Petco, In&Out and more restaurants and coffee spots. Does this location realize that it is Summer? In the summer it is hot in Southern California, so leaving one door open and a little tiny rug-fan inside is not keeping the place cool. I would rather the chefs not be sweating in my food. How can you even sit in there and eat without sweating??? all summer long out of 50 businesses that are in this shopping center this is the only one that has the door open and no air-conditioning. Stopped by this location recently to pick up dinner and like all their restaurants the food is good. They have seating both inside and out with lots of parking. The staff work quickly and my food was ready to go before I knew it. I got the spicy Gyro plate and it was delicious. read more

One of our regular spots. They always do a great job here. Service is on point. Our go-tos are the house salad and the chicken with spicy lemon garlic sauce. I always open up a pita and slather that white garlic sauce in there before stuffing it with salad or chicken and maybe some fries if you're into that(I am). Then pour some of that spicy lemon garlic(it's not that spicy) on top and go to town. The fries here are always fresh to order and they season it well. Ask for it well done and it will come out perfectly crispy! Don't sleep on this place. Also it always feels a little healthier than burgers or pizza. They also have a great chicken soup and a quarter chicken special for a great price. read more

This visit I wanted to try the chicken soup. So I ordered a small bowl with a gyros sandwich. Both were excellent. And I had leftovers. I really enjoyed the soup. So much so, I could have just ordered a large bowl of soup and been super happy. Next visit I'll try something new. My order came with pita bread that was fresh and tasty. Normally, I love this place. Great food, and solid atmosphere. However, I was given an extra ingredient in my to go meal that I wasn't ready for. I got a double chicken spicy kabab (I love protein) and get a salad to pretend to balance it out. Some of it looked wilted so I picked around it and continued eating. It wasn't until a piece of lettuce fell off that I saw the extra protein and it looks like it marinated for a while. Unfortunately, that's a deal breaker. read more

I love this restaurant the food is great but when it becomes the evening a whole evening crew takes over and everyone turns into an asshole here. None of the workers want to help or be nice. There's usually a tall black dude with a black polo shirt a s a latina lady and they're so super cold and rude. It's caused me to never come at night the whole crew sucks ass. So if you're the owner of this restaurant just know this crew is killing your business. I wish the evening crew was nicer man but they suck. read more

This is the go to chicken spot in the South Bay and there's a reason why there are so many locations. I like to go to this location because I usually plan to go to Vons or Costco afterwards. The staff is always friendly and attentive here! The chicken never misses and is super juicy. My wife and I love the spicy garlic sauce over the chicken as well. I am slowly trying all the different sides but I always gravitate back to the spicy sweet coleslaw. read more

Great Food and great value. This place was recommended by a friend, so I thought I would give it a try as part of my Mediterranean food extravaganza. I tried various dishes at over a dozen Mediterranean restaurants in a 6-month period. I have been here several times, and the gyro has been consistently good. The also provide you with some bread and garlic butter when a person dines in. The staff is super friendly, and they have great lunch specials. The gyro has plenty of meat and the price is sooooo reasonable. I really like the flavor of the gyro meat here and the service is relatively fast. I wish I lived closer to this place. Thoughts on this location: I thought it was a bit tight inside for the amount of chairs/tables they had - if a person likes space then getting your food to go would probably be the better option. My family wanted something filling yet healthy for lunch on Tuesday so we got Chicken Maison to-go! This was the first time we came to this location in Torrance Crossroads. We got a whole rotisserie chicken with the spicy garlic sauce. The sauce is usually flavorful and has a good kick to it, but when we got it, it was missing something. There's usually a bit of a stronger garlic flavor, which it was missing. The chicken actually lacked flavor at times. There was actually plenty of sauce on the chicken, but it seemed to mostly be oil at the bottom. The chicken comes with 2 sides, pita, & garlic sauce. For our 2 sides, we got the green salad and white rice. The green salad, pita, and garlic sauce tasted consistent with other locations. However, the chicken did not have as much flavor as some of the other Chicken Maison locations I've tried! Maybe I caught them on an off day. read more

I ordered the spicy lemon garlic chicken kabob with hummus and tabouleh, and it was absolutely delicious - perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. My boyfriend had the 1/4 rotisserie chicken with rice and spicy potato salad; he loved everything except the salad. The portions were significant and led to us both overeating, it would be wiser to split something or take 1/2 home. Oh Chicken Maison, how I've fallen in love with your spicy lemon garlic chicken! Wish it wasn't so pricey so I can eat here much more often! I started out ordering the kabob plates when I first started coming here. I found the steak kabobs more tasty than the chicken kabobs. I found the chicken kabobs to be on the dry sides. I love the veggie kabob that comes with each plate, they're so juicy and flavorful! Also, I always have the most difficult time sliding the meat off the stick - any tips? I always make a mess and a fool of myself haha One day I decided to try the rotisserie chicken in the spicy lemon garlic sauce... omg I'm always ordering this from now on! The flavor is bold and delicious!! Can't get enough of this sauce!! Wiped up every last drop of it with my pita bread that day. I already love the garlic sauce they give you to dip your pita bread, but wow this trumps even that! My favorite sides here are the spicy potato salad and the Greek cole slaw. Chicken maison is the best!!! Always clean, friendly faces and helpful service, cute and bright decor. I really love it here - i get the beef kabob. Im not wild about their rice cuz if the grapes & onions but i eat around them. Put their fabulous garlic sauce on it and you wont notice it anyway. I love that they give you free pita bread. We DoorDash from this location late in the evening (7pm - 9pm) about three times a week, and they always forget our extra pita bread. This has been happening consistently for the past three weeks. This most recent order included 2 combos, which came with 4 pita breads, plus 2 extra orders of pita bread, for a total of 8. We received only 4. The food itself was excellent, but repeatedly missing paid items is unacceptable. Not having enough pita for the hummus completely took away from the meal. I'm giving 1 star because this has been an ongoing issue, not a one-time mistake. read more

I want to love this place, but it's not it. I will be going to another location from now on. I ordered online and when I got there and picked up my food I saw it charged me for two plates instead of one. I told the guy working there and he said there was nothing he could do since his manager wasn't there. So he took the extra plate and said he would have to wait to refund me until a couple of days. So I had to leave without receiving any refund... I was so bewildered. Well it's been a while and I still haven't received my 30 dollar refund.
