We are at Chicken and Pickle twice on our two day trip to Glendale. We had dinner Saturday night and got dinner to go on Sunday. The restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel. On Saturday night, we ordered the smoked wings for appetizers, I got the chipotle chicken bowl and my husband got the chicken and waffles. I loved the chicken bowl. It was full of flavor and was spicy. A little too much rice. I finished it the next day. It was too good to waste. On Sunday, we got the wings and chicken and waffle. My husband enjoyed his chicken and waffles. The wings were fresh though I wish I had ordered the chicken bowl again. Overall, the experience was great. Service was great. Chicken N Pickle staff, food and games provide a great environment to get together with friends and groups of any age. As a retiree who wanted a little more excercise I was encouraged by my nephew Sebastian to go check it out as he works there. First, I watched games, enjoyed parties and great food in the restaurant. Delicious chicken wrap, quesadillas and Pickled Chicken. Then I took a few pickle ball lessons. Sydney and Jennine were both great instructors and helped the groups learn the basics to hit, serve, play and keep score. They adapted to the level of the group. Wow! We thought we were just coming to play pickleball with some family that came into town, but this place is AWESOME! The fact that we could play pickleball and reserve an indoor court was already fun. But then we ordered dinner and every dish we got was delicious! The hot chicken sandwich, the quesadilla, the hummus... everything was great! Which was something I wasn't expecting for a place I had mainly compartmentalized as a sports facility. There were so many other games like cornhole, ping pong, and such. Then we watched the game in the sports bar for a little. Service was great too! We will definitely be back. I got the chicken and waffles. My food came out cold. The chicken was good. The waffle was nasty. I bet the food would have been better if it were warmer. The chicken had a great flavor, and the waffle had a nice crispiness to it, but the coldness just made it all fall flat. I did have a fantastic spicy margarita. We had an event this week here and unfortunately we didn't have the best experience as far as the food and the service . I paid for 35 people and it did not seem sufficient for the amount of food in general. We ran out within 10 min . Most guests didn't get to eat . They didn't even provide us with the pickle ball rackets till almost 1 hr into our 2 hour event and then they only gave us 3 paddles. I paid $300 in gratuity and could bearly find our hostess. This place is a great place to hang out and have fun. We knew the courts were booked but there is plenty of other fun to be had. I give it 4 stars because twice we had a bunch of ice cream, that we did NOT order, charged to our bill. (Just the 2 of us, sat at the bar ordered a few drinks and queso and closed out. Some odd things - no service at our table for the first hour were there (11-12) and then could not get them to stop interrupting our play trying to serve us. Visited chicken n pickle last night and must say I was super impressed with the venue. It was huge and there was so much stuff to do including pickle ball, cornhole, ping pong, and some other yard games as well. We played an hour of pickle ball in the indoor courts. I made my reservation online and honestly the price was the only disappointing thing about this place. It was $50 for an hour of pickleball. That's a little steep in my opinion considering that is usually only about a couple of games. I feel like they need to cut that price in half or at least give you more time if you are paying 50 bucks. The courts were nice but wish the air conditioning was working a little better. The food was surprisingly really good! I got the burger and was pretty impressed with the overall quality and flavor of it. The rotisserie chicken, ribs, and chicken wings were also really good too! Overall, this is a really fun place for couples or families to visit and I would definitely recommend checking it out! read more

We were expecting a Topgolf type of experience when we rented a court for two hours. The atmosphere is very fun with lots to do. Unfortunately, we had terrible or non-existent server. We had to physically go find our server each time we wanted water or food and only received one drink in two hours. The last time we tried to hunt her down, she said she'd be right with us but 30 mins later our time was over and we never saw her. We were also told by the front hostess that we were allowed to bring outside drinks. Went to Dutch Bros spent $35 and confirmed again on our way in that drinks were okay. She gave us a thumbs up. Loved this place! We decided to have a weekend getaway as an early anniversary celebration since September will be a super busy month for us. Our friends suggested we meet up here to hang out. When you walk in they explain how ordering food and drinks works, you open a tab and can order drinks from anywhere on the property. When you order food they give you a number tag which has GPS on it so you can wander around without having to worry about picking up your food. The upstairs area has a lot of tables, a bar, and a patio as well. Outside there is a big open area to play corn hole, big versions of Jenga, connect four and battleship, as well as hula hoops and plenty of seats and tables. There's indoor and outdoor pickball courts. I love the concept, the drinks were good, the food was good and all of the staff was so friendly. We plan on going back to AZ soon and want to take our kids , they're going to love it! read more

Chicken N Pickle is definitely a must go. Their food is very good. I recommend the chicken wings and biscuit. My entire party ate everything. The service was amazing. Our server I'sha was extremely kind and helpful. She gave us great recommendations. Don't be fooled by the name. Chicken N Pickle is not just pickleball. There is ping pong, battleship, cornhole and more. I recommend you play outside pickle ball instead of inside for two reasons. 1. Outside has a much better view and you can see the sky. 2. Inside has weird lighting and colors that mess with your vision. We played inside. Everyone the ball was hit up or in a certain direction the lights would blend the ball in with the background which caused us all to miss some hits. Another thing was the wall separating the courts. I feel like they could be a bit higher because it was extremely common for other courts' balls getting hit in our court. Overall is was an extremely fun experience and I would 100% recommend this to you if you are in Arizona. read more
