Fries were okay but slightly overcooked and loads of small pieces.

Disorganized for pickup orders, hard to know where to go since there is no host station. One server asked me if I needed tableware which I did, but another brought me the order, and there was none when I opened the bag at my hotel. Eat salad with my fingers? Also they do forewarn you that there may be a 10 minute wait when you arrive if your internet to-go order includes fries, because they drop them in the oil only when you arrive since they want them to be hot for you. That's great, but I waited at least 15 minutes. Fries were overcooked and came with no dipping sauces at all even ketchup, blue cheese burger was huge (and better be, for the price) and tasty. I was disappointed. Maybe dine-in is a better experience.

We went with five of my friends for lunch here yesterday for the first time. Food was good - especially the fries which were amazing. The restaurant was busy, and the service was a bit slow, but we enjoyed our visit. The restaurant had the A/C cranked at full blast - which we found quite cold, but they turned it down for us which was nice. Parking was easy and plentiful in the attached parking lot.

We love Tony's. Extensive menu, great food, great service. Today I had the chili and wife had the mini burgers. Great. Supreme French fries.

Tonys absolutely delivered. From the food to the service to the cocktails, everything hit. And they have a really nice spacious patio area where it still feels semiprivate from the street. We started with the calamari, and it was exceptionally good--especially in a town where it's surprisingly hard to find great calamari. Light, crispy, and perfectly fried with both beer batter and panko. The duo of cilantro sauce and marinara gave everyone options, and the fried red bell peppers, hot peppers, and fresh cucumber garnish made it feel like a full, thoughtful appetizer with a nice amount of veg. The Cajun fries were seasoned just right, crispy and hot, and definitely fresh cut potatoes. We also shared Tonys Minis which are not at all tiny but two sizable beef sliders with grilled onions, cheddar, and secret sauce. The portion was perfect for sharing. Great flavor, juicy, and satisfying. Next time I might try them medium rare instead of medium, but that's personal preference--not a complaint at all. And the Cadillac margarita with a Tajín rim was mixed wonderfully by the bartender mixes. It tasted fresh with plenty of real lime juice and the right ingredients, not overly sweet or artificial. Service was fab- attentive, friendly, and on point the whole time. Can't wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu.

Back for lunch and had steak tacos ....again. And a Mexican coke. Yummy. Soccer was on the TV and audible music I haven't heard before. Food came quick and it was so long since I have had a coke. I didn't want to leave a drop.

We were at a local watering hole across the street and decided upon dinner at this place since it was close by as well as the prices being relatively inexpensive for the area. Not very busy around 7ish in the evening, we were greeted and seated promptly by the hostess. We were handed menus promptly as well as our drink order (coke and water) and took our time looking over the extensive menu. 1st timers here, it appears that they are mostly known for their burgers although everything sounded good on their menu. I opted for the brie burger, BFF chose the "hole hole provolone" burger (pronounced "hol-e hol-e provol-o-ne per our server lol), followed by an app of the mozzerella sticks and sharable house fries. First off, the mozzarella sticks were AMAZING! Breaded lightly but crispy with flaky breading and an awesome "cheese pull", they were surprisingly light, but hearty and satisfying & served with cucumber slices, ranch, and a light marinara sauce on the side. As for the burgers, BFF enjoyed his and mine was ok, but I was a bit disappointed as I could not really taste the brie on it. The patty was a thick piece of angus certified beef and cooked to perfection (we both like 'em well done) with the usual toppings of lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo. Lastly, the fries were tasty, but a bit over salted (as was my burger patty). Overall, great service with friendly servers (we had one apologize cause he said he would come and another server beat him to it, no biggie at all). Food was good but I felt also a bit pricey (hence the four star rating) as everything is a la carte (both burgers 16.50, fries 7.99, mozzarella sticks 11.99, Mexican coke, 5.50). As a matter of fact, the only sandwich to come with fries (per our server) was the tuna melt. I would definitely come back to try something different (even a different burger) for the friendly atmosphere. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well.

These burgers are to die for highly recommended ANY of them! You also need to get the 50/50 homemade fries and onion rings. The service was quick and the atmosphere is Go get yourself a Tony Burger!!!!

New favorite spot! You know when you go to a restaurant and the pictures on the menu look good? Well at Tony's Grill & Bar the food surpasses the pics! Delicious is an understatement, so fresh, so well made! New fav spot for sure! The server staff is super friendly and really take the time to make sure your meal and experience are worth the visit. Will definitely come back!

We were looking for a family option today and Tony's popped up on our radar. Getting there was pretty easy and they have their own parking lot which is a nice touch in Palm Springs where parking can be tough. We ordered the nachos to start and they took a really long time to come out. Probably close to 30 minutes. We were kind of wondering, what was going on considering there were only a couple of tables there in the restaurant. They were OK in my opinion. I thought they were baked too long and the cheese was just hard. The kids chicken tenders was a huge portion and my two kids actually shared one meal. I had the seafood linguine, which was tasty. Surprisingly my daughter, who typically does not like any sauce, other than marinara also enjoyed it and we shared. They brought out several different sauces for my husband. They gave us some of the sauces for free and others were an up charge. Next time we plan to try those truffle fries and I definitely want a burger.

Well, for me, a year has passed since I had a meal here. An updated review still warrants five- stars. Another five-star delicious experience after a whole year has elapsed. This time, I called up the juicy turkey burger, stacked high with fresh veggies and jalapeños. The official name is the Angry Bird. Yes, I am fond of spicy dishes. The garlic fries are fantastic. I sip my house cabernet red while I enjoy my lunch. The service is swift and friendly. The ambiance is casual and delightful. This place is a gem. I will return.

And great ranch . Service was amazing and friendly and fast. I love the vibe and decor .. honestly my new favorite spot in Palm Springs . So many things I want to try now !!

We shared a bunch of dishes, which is definitely the way to experience the menu. The cocktails (not pictured) were fantastic--whether you're in the mood for a timeless classic or something a little more whimsical, there's something for everyone. The escargot was beautifully prepared and made even better by the perfectly char-grilled baguette that came alongside it. The steak tartare was an absolute flavor bomb with great seasoning, especially paired with the house-made potato chips. It leaned a touch salty, but in a way that made it the perfect appetizer and somehow had us ordering another round of cocktails. The grilled artichokes were simple, smoky, and delicious. The red curry mussels were served with that same incredible bread and an aromatic, deeply flavorful broth that we didn't want to leave behind. The smoked pork chop was another standout--beautifully charred on the outside while staying perfectly juicy inside. Beyond the food, the service was fabulous, attentive, but not rushed. The atmosphere is quintessential Palm Springs: stylish, colorful, well-lit and a lively environment overall. It made for a memorable birthday celebration, and everyone in our group left happy. We'll absolutely be back.

Reservations are notoriously hard to get, but we got lucky with a last-minute walk-in and were seated after 15-20 min wait. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Well this one, located in the Arena area of Palm Springs. Theres no name or signs anywhere. You just have to know where to look. Try opening doors and see which one opens. We were walking back to the car when I noticed the doors. As l had heard so much about it but didn't know where it was. Well lucky me, I opened the door with the first try. I had an idea on where it was but didn't know where. That's where the 4 stars come in. As I had the door open, I could hear from the bar area a gentleman yelling out shut the door. Ok, I get the dark hidden concept but yelling out like that, kind of rude. Do you not want people in. It was about 11pm when we walked in. You enter and it's a dark hallway straight to the bar. That'll be what you see right when you walk in. Place is covered in a dark damask wallpaper and only light are small fixtures. So dark and demure. Bar area is the main attraction with all the seating. There's a few hi tops along the wall as well as some seating in the back area. I'm not sure how big the place is as we only went straight to the bar and sat down. The menu is printed to resemble vintage newspaper. The dark mysterious room with tufted seats and dim lights is what this place is all about. But of course you can't leave out the drinks. Centered of the bar wall, there's Udo Kier watching you. Anyways, down to the drinks. Printed on the newspaper was a perfect touch. I went with the pisco sour and we had the bartender make something else with mescal. An updated smoke and mirror I believe. Drinks were excellent which we expected. The whole place is really dark and mysterious which was a nice touch. It wasn't that busy when we arrived Friday night. The only downfall with the rating, the rude remark when we walked in with shutting the door all the way from the bar area. Yes we heard it from outside. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
