First timers, here ... absolutely delicious! The banh mi was one of the best I've ever had. They did not skimp on the chicken or any of the veggies, and the bread was delicious. We tested out the green bean side ... also terrific. Crisp beans, just the right amount of sauce, not too salty. The half chicken and baked potato were also excellent. I've driven by this restaurant many times and while it was always busy I wasn't initially drawn in for some reason. However, after shopping nearby and being uber hungry, my friends and I decided to stop in for a light bite. We were greeted and seated right away at the outdoor patio in the front. The menu as you would guess it is 80% chicken! Chicken salads, chicken sandwiches, and chicken fingers. An easy to navigate menu. Good for the kids and the old folks who wish we were still kids with this approachable and easy menu. While it's a good dining spot for families and little ones, they do have a bar inside where they make cocktails for those dining out front so they've got that going for them. Given we were here for a quick light bite between three of us gals we only ordered chicken strips and the fully loaded baked potato. Boy were those two dishes delicious! The chicken strips were a more panko type fry which tasted healthier than a usual chicken strip but they were really good. Love a place with good dining sauces, I can confirm that both the honey mustard and ranch were homemade tasting and delicious! The loaded baked potatoes were a meal on their down. Super tasty and filling, you have to check out my picture attached as they were totally Instagram worthy! Staff here are very friendly and hospitable! The gentlemen seated us right away and were very attentive. The valued feedback and asked what we thought of our meals. Nice people work here and they really aim for quality service. Let me just say this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in the entire city. Nothing about this place is "farm fresh," especially not the chicken, which had a strong, unpleasant odor the moment it hit the table. Fresh chicken does not smell like that period. On top of that, the pricing is outrageous. We ordered chicken strips, a salad plate, and two drinks, and the bill came to $111. That's beyond unreasonable, especially for food that could easily be compared to bland hospital cafeteria fare. Bottom line: overpriced, low-quality food that does not match the menu's claims. read more

It's rare to find a place that values serving quality chicken, so it's definitely a real perk that Chicken Ranch offers pasture-raised chicken. You can certainly taste the difference: this chicken was flavorful and looked really good! We ordered the Ranch sandwich and the Chicken BLT and while both were delicious and were loaded up with chicken, they were also just a touch dry. Like it was a lot of chicken and could have used a little bit of mayo or something to sort of help get such a large amount of meat down. To top it off, the service, while very friendly, was a little bit slow and you can only sit outside so while the temperature was mild for the desert, I was still sweating by the end of our meal. I wish that there was indoor seating and I have no idea how they manage in summer time. I ordered the Kale Salad with Cold Chopped Chicken and my husband had the Ranch Sandwich. My salad was on the smaller side, with a tiny amount of quinoa. We stopped by for the Chicken Ranch's happy hour and were just going to have a drink until we looked at their menu. They offer green beans or broccolini in a ginger/soy sauce. We had had the broccolini before which was really good so we decided to try the green beans. They were fabulous! They're super fresh, not fried like some places do, and the seasonings are perfect. A friend and I stopped in for lunch probably about 2:00 one afternoon. My friend ordered chicken strips salad and a side chicken breast and lemonade I ordered Firecracker Chicken with lemonade. Waiter took forever to come over and take our order. Took a while for the food to arrive. Had to wait again for the server to come back with silverware. My friends food was good my food disgusting. They set it down in front of me and it looked like it was frozen thrown in a deep fryer and overcooked. It appeared dry sitting on a bed of rice that would obviously overcooked because it was soft and mushy and that was floating in a pool of some sort of fluid. The chicken had zero taste. When I brought it up to the waiter instead of saying I apologize he looked at me and said I'd understand we sell this all the time and no one's ever complained about it I walked away. I wrote an email complaining that the food was bad and the service was horrendous. I received an email back apologizing for the service somewhat. Never once addressed the bad food. Then told me to come back in so I could be treated the way it should be. There is no chance I would ever spend money at this restaurant again. The letter came from the chef and the owner.
