The fries are the soft, skinny variety, not crispy or crinkle cut. If you enjoy spicy fries but don't like ranch dressing, skip the Cajun ranch fries and just sprinkle Cajun spices on them yourself (they have a shaker at the counter). I ordered the chicken plate. The chicken was crispy, seasoned and juicy - Perfectly fried. All of the sides were good except the cornbread. Just skip tasting the cornbread it will ruin the meal. Overall, it's Southern Soul food; however seating and dynamic menu presents the most challenge in making it an enjoyable experience.
