I don't live by a chicken salad chick so whenever I can, I love to grab some food from here. I love chicken salad, and these don't disappoint! I also really enjoy the broccoli salad, and the little cookie that comes with it.

Delicious chicken salad sandwiches and fresh fruit sides. Very friendly service. Nice, relaxed casual restaurant. A few different chicken sandwich flavors. One of the best chicken salad sandwiches I ever had. Friendly and fast service.

While grabbing lunch at Kismet Café, I noticed the new Chicken Salad Chick next door and popped in. Chicken Salad Chick is a fast-food chain that serves a variety of chicken salads with fresh ingredients. Immediately, you are attracted to the bright colors and Barbie like caricatures. Chicken Salad Chick sells 12 kinds of chicken salad ranging from classic to spicy. Since I already bought lunch, I thought I would buy some chicken salad to go. The Quick Chick cabinet looked so inviting. Therefore, I purchased the Fancy Nancy (chicken salad with grapes, apples, and pecans). Although I got the smaller potion of the chicken salad, I found it surprisingly dense and very filling (definitely shareable). I really enjoyed the different textures within the chicken salad. They also had a variety of desserts such as red velvet cake, white chocolate cake, butter cream cookies, and chocolate marshmallow crispy bars. Look forward to trying some of their other menu items...

We had been anxious to see this place open and we were happy to try it. The menu holds lots of details so a bunch of newcomers (like us) stopped to stare through the options of salads and sandwiches and sides. You can try a scoop of any salad. The chicken salad is their speciality. I decided to try their turkey breast sandwich, which came with sliced turkey pieces, not a filet, so it's a lighter fare. Our food didn't take too long at all. They brought it to our table. We enjoyed our visit and I hope to try their salads and yummy desserts.

I admit I'd not heard of Chicken Salad Chick when I snagged an invite to their "Friends and Family" pre-opening. I saw it was a chicken salad based restaurant and that intrigued me. My daughter also told me the place is TikTok trendy right now... so there's that. The whole kitsch of the restaurant is what I would call modern grandma-core. That's not a bad thing.. it's very "I Dream of Genie" era decor and that matches the chicken salad and the fixin's menu. The chicken salad was good. I like mine a little more chunky... but everyone has a different spin on the classic... and the flavors were there. I tried several versions... the Carols Classic, Jalapeño, some with nuts and grapes... but to me the sides were the star. They have a bangin' broccoli salad (lightly dressed with cheese and bacon) and their spinach salad was delicious. Tortilla soup was spot on as well. After trying all the different chicken salads, I decided to go off script and order the turkey bacon club on a croissant. Was happy with the choice. This is a fun little take on 1960s cuisine and I can see meeting friends for lunch or taking a date here would be a good choice. The staff was great and they allowed me to order a "to go" for my kiddo who was feeling under the weather so that was great (this was a pre-open service so everything was free... so it was very nice for them to let me to do that and my kiddo loved the baked potato soup).

This place isn't bad for a quick lunch. The service was really good. After looking over the menu for a bit, I was offered free samples of any of their chicken salads. I went with the Dixie Chicks oniony one as a BLT on a croissant. The bacon of the blt was cold and sad but the sandwich was still good after I took it off. GOOD lettuce and tomato. I got the pasta salad on the side which was bland but the strawberry lemonade I had with it was perfect! They also give you a lil packaged frosted cookie that also tasted bland and mass-produced but it was cute and complimentary. It was a bit overpriced, in my opinion but I'd go there again with a coworker for lunch, if they were paying.

Love Chicken Salad Chick. Glad it's in Austin. This was a place we would go in Alabama when visiting family. The service was great and the place was clean.

Ordered sandwich platters for a baby shower. Customer service was amazing from the start. Eduardo helped me with how much/what kind of food I should order. The sandwiches were such a hit! They were delicious everyone loved them. We also got the fruit platter. The dip was so yummy and the fruit was nice and fresh. Would definitely order from here again!

The coleslaw was decent, and I often don't like coleslaw. The skin was tough and too much for me, but the food itself was great. The two piece was substantial for me, and the four piece seemed to be a little too much even for a big boy. The restroom floors were suspiciously very wet. I feel like they could provide some moist towelettes because the chicken was very greasy, and we had to just pour water on the napkins. Downtown street parking was a struggle, but I found 2/3 of a spot close by that I decided could count as a spot.

Mona's (a portmanteau of the parents names' first syllables) has a small menu of traditional offerings, from samosas, patties, parata rolls, and chutneys. The truck is helmed by Momma Mona but her twin sons run the operations and have crafted the recipes. I tried several items and it is absolutely ridiculous how delicious everything was. The samasos of potato (papa) were expertly crafted and reminded me of flautas de papa when they are done right. Crispy, flavorful, and "light" ... just perfect. The parata rolls, made from an egg based recipe, was expertly crafted; the shami kabab was filled with beef. Paired with the mint chutney, it was a great balance. The sauces were on point and varied in heat level, but nothing excessive. Sameer (sp?) explained that the sauces are a bit on the milder side to accomodate the taste palate but the spiciest version had some punch. Last but not least was the beef patty which was a stellar, absolutely phenomenal flaky pastry with their signature shredded spicy chicken. It rivaled some of the best bakery offerings I've had, the flakiness left me laughing out loud from the quality. Whenever I venture into another culture's cuisine, I can certainly tell if I like it or not, but not how rooted the dishes are. I appreciated Sameer's discussion of his families food; his mom has been in the industry for years and finally decided to venture out with her twin sons. I'm glad they did. The craziest realization was that there was likely so many drunk patrons who stumble out of Shangrila at 2:10AM likely have no idea they had some of the best Pakistani food you can find. *Shout out to Joe from Taano Beverages for the rec; he's neighbors with Mona's. Always lovely to see small business genuinely support other small businesses.

A manager kindly helped seat us at the last table that could fit a high chair, and our server was perfectly pleasant. Then we watched an older Uber Eats driver ask for an update on an order after being told it would be ready in five minutes. More than ten minutes later, when he checked again, the assistant manager was openly rude and dismissive. He told the driver he could not make the kitchen move any faster and then said, "Why don't you leave and come back then if you're in such a hurry." That interaction was bad enough that we canceled our food order, paid for our drinks, and left. When asked why, I explained exactly what we had witnessed. The response: "Don't worry about that, he's just an Uber driver." That told us everything we needed to know. We do not want to support a business where management treats people that way and then defends it. We will not be back. John, you should be ashamed of yourself.
