This place is decorated in such a unique, fun way. Seating is limited but most people are come and go. Food came out fast. Got the Turkish eggs, and a cherrywood latte with oat milk. The latte was very coffee forward, and I didn't get the brown sugar flavoring or vanilla. Turkish eggs were jammy, refreshing with hints of spiciness. Standout was the thick sourdough! Cute place for brunch overall.

Visited Spread & Co. on a whim today after searching for a place close to downtown to spend a couple of hours with some friends. We were first impressed by how cute the space is, with Spread & Co. being both a mini market with different gourmet foods, wine, and food-adjacent knick knacks, and a restaurant. The brown butter chocolate chip cookie dough, vanilla bean salt, and my favorite local sourdough crackers were all tempting standouts in the market. There was some confusion over whether the happy hour runs every day or only on weekdays, with my friend and I being told different answers, but otherwise we had a great time. My friends ordered the mortadella sandwich, ricotta tartine, and avocado tartine and all enjoyed their entrees. I (definitely descending from some true hunter-gatherers) ordered the Graze Plate for one and loved it. The graze plate came out almost immediately but we waited about 15 minutes for the sandwiches. Note - half off graze plates and boards during their 3-6 p.m. happy hour is SUCH A GOOD DEAL, especially in a city as expensive as Austin. The graze plate came with cheese, charcuterie, marcona almonds, and a few tasty pieces of different dried and fresh fruits and pickled veggies (obsessed with the pickled carrots). I also tried the mortadella sandwich (had to with that snowstorm of grated parm on top) and loved the unique mesh of mortadella, whipped ricotta, and pistachio pesto. My friend also ordered a dirty chai which smelled divine, and which was so good she finished it before the sandwiches came out. We found the space to be a cozy place to eat, albeit pretty small and crowded so maybe difficult to find a table on a busy weekend. Love Spread & Co.'s unique market & deli concept, and hope to return soon.

Spread & Co is cute and quaint sandwich shop on Manor. They have excellent sandwiches and I'm sad that I didn't order a coffee on this particular visit. The inside is small, but a great place for a quiet lunch. They have fun wine, cheese, book & sticker offerings inside as well to purchase for home!

I was able to have breakfast here with my family on Saturday morning, and we were able to enjoy some of their sweet and savory options. It's also nice that they offer a variety of coffees, teas, and lattes. I opted for a cappuccino, and while I appreciated the fact that it was on the menu, I also found it to be very bitter. I however thoroughly enjoyed the Ricotta Tartine that I got. It was served on a slice of toast, topped with a thin layer of avocado, a THICK layer of ricotta, and an exquisite swirl of in-house jam! I was definitely a fan of the jam! Unfortunately, the sweetness of the toast didn't carry over to help the bitterness of the coffee...oh well. Only thing I would prefer is a larger area for more spacious seating. It got pretty busy late Saturday morning, and with lots of crowds it also got noisy too.

such a good breakfast place!! they're a cheese shop that also sells food and drinks we got the mortadella sandwich and toast w butter and jam. i am NOT a jam person at all, but the first bite i had of their strawberry jam had me melting into my seat. the jam was very sweet and tasted like fresh strawberries which paired exceedingly well with the light butter. the toast was also thick and perfectly crispy!! 11/10 it's such a simple dish but they ensure each component was high quality and complementary. and i came here for the mortadella sandwich which lived up to the hype. the mortadella is such a light and slightly salty cured meat, which was elevated by the pesto spread. the cheese on top wasn't heavy at all. they also offer house hot sauce which was a tangy buffalo spice and hot pepper vinegar which was perfect for the sandwich i will dream of this place until i come back. adorable decor and many knick knacks for sale too

Absolutely delightful! There's a couple spots of parking out front and additional parking in the back. There is neighborhood parking as well if both are full. The space is a little small but people come and go pretty quickly so it's easy to snag a seat. Our barista/servers were so helpful and lovely! The coffee was incredible and the matcha lemonade was amazing. I ordered the turk-ish eggs which was surprisingly filling. Very delicious with a hint of spice. Highly recommend if you're in the area or looking for a chill place to get breakfast with a friend.

I came here in the morning on a Thurs to try the "Brekkie" sandwich ($8). It was absolutely delicious!! It's not big but it has a nice thick egg and meat layer, plus the hot sauce they give with it is actually very good - it's tangy and just the right amount of spicy. I ordered it to go, and it was still warm and delicious 30 mins later when I got home. I had it with some tea and vegetables. There isn't a lot of parking available, just a couple spots right in the front labeled for the place, plus some spots for the other restaurants which maybe you can park in? I'm not sure but probably. The staff here were also very efficient, I ordered and the sandwich was out within 2 or 3 minutes. There are a couple tables inside but not a huge amount of seating. I don't come often to this side of town but if I wanted breakfast and a drink this is a solid option! Looking forward to trying other stuff on the menu at some point.

Yo, the food is great here! The service was quick, the place is small, seating probably about 20 people max. Really pricey for two meals, 2 drinks, and a pastry for almost $70! But they were delicious, I was shook. I regretted not trying the sandwich but my plate of toast, jam, and cheese was soo good. Parking is a bit limited. We were lucky to get a spot and an open table. The drinks are 3/5. The food were the stars. Bonus: You can wine, yap, and eat amazing cheese here too!

Nice little cafe/sandwich shop. I had the mortadella sandwich and an indeed Americano. The sandwich was tasty and the grated Parmesan on top was a really welcome add of saltiness and flavor to the sandwich. The bread, for me, was too crunchy on the edges and hard to eat because of it. Once you got past the crust everything was tasty. The coffee was really good as well. Not the best coffee ever, but nicely balanced and not too acidic. Overall, a great little spot.

Cute cafe about a five minute drive from the UT campus. I stopped by around 10 am on a Sunday morning. The inside of the cafe was super cute. They sell some groceries and trinkets on top of being a cafe. When we arrived, there was no line, and most of the tables were empty. It started to get more crowded when we left around 11:30. I ordered the spiced peach matcha and the mortadella sandwich. The matcha was decent. I liked the peach purée in the drink, but the matcha itself was just slightly grainy. Not terrible for a place that doesn't specialize in matcha. However, I absolutely loved the mortadella sandwich. The focaccia bread was soft but kept its structure. I also liked the combination of the pesto, mortadella, and ricotta. They shaved a bunch of parmesan on top, which added a nice level of saltiness. I would recommend coming here for the sandwiches over the drinks.

Really cozy spot for lunch! Spread & Co is cute and homey, great for grabbing a bite with friends or picking up a gift for the cheese lovers in your life. The mortadella sandwich was a standout for me and the pesto flavor was spot on. I actually tried it with prosciutto because the mortadella had sold out, but the workers kindly substituted for no extra charge. If you order the burrata and prosciutto sandwich, expect plenty of burrata. The house salsa and vinegar also provide a bright, tart flavor addition.

Very unique spot! Wanted to try a new place and decided on spread & co! It looked very busy but we ordered and got a table fairly fast! The food was tasty and the drip coffee delicious. The space is kinda small but feels intimate. There is some parking in the front of the building and more in the back!

Super cute little cafe with delicious food! Their brekky sando and grilled cheese were so cheesy and flavorful. Loved the unique maple dijonaise sauce on the brekky sandwich. The cheese dripping off the grilled cheese bread was a masterpiece. On top of their food menu, they also have snacks and drinks all over the store that were pretty hard to resist. They have an entire cheese display, wine racks, a fridge with dips, cookie dough and other delights, and many other snacks. I loved the chive dip. Their hot sauce is also now one of top favorites, even bought a bottle to take home. Staff were very friendly! Can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu!

I wanted to get this for my book club soiree, but did not have time to make a visit as it is a little north of downtown. Antonelli's Cheese Shop is charming and quaint. While the shop is small they have an assortment of items to sell in addition to cheese - wine, sauces, jellies, etc. I was immediately greeted upon entry into Antonelli's cheese shop. Two other customers were being helped, however, I had a store associate offer me some cheese samples. While the samples were good, I was specifically interested in the three cream cheese. They had two choices to select from. I was hoping they had more. This is a shop you need to spend some time in to leisurely evaluate the cheeses. There was also a human size dog in the shop at the time. I don't know what is about dogs, they like to lick me. Guess what...I do not like to be licked. So, I jetted out of the store.

They have wine, jams/jelly/preserves. Chocolates, and olives. They also have premade charcuterie boards too. When I came, they were giving away free cheese everyday of the week. The first 100 people that were in line. Free cheese? Yes please. As you can imagine, there was a long line of people waiting, and with the store being small, we were sent in in small groups. Couple people come out, couple people go in. As the line shortens and you get to the counter. You're given your free cheese, and asked what type of cheese you like. I gave my favorites, soft cheese, like brie, hard cheese, like manchego I like spicy cheese like hatched chili cheese or a jalapeño cheese. So after giving some examples of cheese that I like the gentleman helping me brought out three different samples and we tried them together and loved every one of them so I chose which ones I liked out of the three and then we moved down the counter a little bit, and the gentleman brought out another selection of three cheeses, and I tried those and told him which ones I liked, and they were all phenomenal. The gentleman that helped me was very attentive. He listened. he gave examples exactly what I was asking for and it was absolutely beautiful experience. even though they were packed and crazy and had 100 people waiting outside. He just treated me like we were just one on one. He took his time with me. I thought it was such a spectacular experience very personable. I walked out with 5 different cheeses. A bar of orange chocolate with dried cherries. And a baguette. And let me tell you, I ate so good during our Texas ice storm 2026! So here's the down side. Parking. There are like 8 parking spots in front. And a couple parking in the back. But beyond the back, there is a small pay with a QR code parking. It's a bit of a struggle as far as parking goes. There is no street parking. But I'm sure when you're not dealing with 100 customers it's not as much of a struggle. There are 2 accessible parking spots out front. Had a great experience. And will come back again.

They recommend consuming the cheeses within 7 days of opening. It's just my husband and me in the household, so finishing a whole package of cheese in a week's time could be daunting. Speaking of the brie, it wasn't my favorite of the selection I received, which was a curated collection of Lorie's from Shark Tank. We opened four of the cheeses to sample them and left two for later. It's been wonderful for me to have better vegan cheeses than what the local grocery stores tend to stock. Real flavor! First off the reservations were pretty open mid-week; I had booked for Tuesday several weeks ahead of time but then had some plans shift and was able to change my reservation to Wednesday just a couple days ahead of time with no issues. We walked in through the front as the back entrance wasn't really obvious from the parking lot (which is quite small), but that was cool as we got to walk by the deli counter and see the meat and pickled veggies etc that were for sale. Our server was great, very helpful in suggesting items, explaining the menu, and answering any questions we had. On her suggestion we started with the sauteed mushroom appetizer but also requested the black garlic butter to be added on the side (I don't think there was an up charge) and this was a great choice! The mushrooms were tender but with a nice bite and super flavorful. We also got the grilled oysters- I forgot exactly what was in the sauce it had miso and something else, but it was so rich and flavorful! I couldn't decide what was the best between the two apps they were both amazing. The husband ordered the antelope over regular fries (as he doesn't like sweet potatoes) which they were happy to accommodate. It was delicious- tender and perfectly cooked with the chive butter on top. I had never had antelope before and found it very pleasant, not very gamey but with a slightly different flavor than beef. I got the quail over grits with a creole sauce and sauteed kale- amazing! It comes with two quail that I think were spatchcocked- the only bones were in the legs and wings so you could eat it easily. The grits were creamy and the sauce with the kale and quail was delicious. I was able to finish my whole meal but was pretty stuffed at the end! Our waitress encouraged us to get a dessert but when we declined brought us out a bowl of chai ice cream to share as she said she wasn't going to let us leave on our anniversary without a treat! It's expensive for how little you get but the flavor is just lovely -- as good as any dessert wine I've had! I could definitely drink a glass of it any time. They have lots of tables inside but the parking is a little limited outside. The day I came there was plenty because it was early and it was still pretty empty inside (just one or two other groups there), but on a busy night I imagine you'd end up having to get street parking nearby or something. Bathrooms were immaculate in here though, and the ambiance is nice! Not "super fancy," but definitelty more upscale than casual. Overall it strikes me as a nice date spot! A little expensive, but I'm sure the food is great, and can confirm the drinks are definitely very nice.

The Especial, Seco, and Classico are all similar in texture, flavor, and overall character. In fact, they are not easily distinguished from one another. They would do fine as a secondary ingredient in a simple dish, such as tacos or quesadillas, but they wouldn't hold up to wine or serve well in a grilled cheese. For the latter 2 items, I would go with their Cheddars, which have a bit more bite. They have a wide selection as compared to other cheeseries in the Austin area, as many seem to really just go after the goat cheese fanatics. Nothing too crazy in terms of production and variety here, but give them a shot. The fermented dairy comes from Texas after all. The people who work here are also super awesome and are ready to take care of you when you have questions or concerns about where your cheese is going. Hehe.. you pay cheese for cheese.
