This is one of my all time favorite places to have lunch. My daughter loves the quick pick Olivia's Old South. The food is always so fresh and the presentation is frightful. I went here for dinner one night. It wasn't busy and my order was perfect. I'd definitely suggest getting your chicken salad as a sandwich, then it's more than enough food. Good food but don't try calling in to order a take out. They never answer their phone! And in my case I had a gift card that you are unable to use on their online system, which is a major flaw too. I did not have the time to go in and order and wait so they lost out on a big family lunch order. Unfortunately this has happened the last 3 times I've tried to call in repeatedly. Either hire someone to handle call in orders or just do away with it and make your website more user friendly. read more

Pricey! $11 for 1 scoop, 1 side & a drink. I would pay that again for chicken salad if it were table service but this is a quick service place. You eat on plastic trays covered in parchment & plastic silverware. Tried the Fancy Nancy, tasted like plain Chicken Salad to me that you can make yourself or pick up any grocery store. Check your order before you take it home since if it's wrong like mine was and you call back to try to rectify it they (the manager) will tell you to call back later AFTER lunch, even though it was your lunch THEY ruined. Fortunately too I don't have nut allergies since the sandwich they gave me had nuts in it, at least that's what I think those pinhead-sized flakes were. And don't be in a hurry when you go. I went in and ordered the pimento cheese scoop thinking like with all pimento cheese apps it would come with pita bread or veggies or something when I asked they said I guess we could give you wheat crackers but these scoops are meant to be eaten with a fork. We ordered an original BLT with the classic carol, a fancy Nancy, a scoop of classic carol for our 4 year old and a kids Mac n cheese for our 6 year old. The wheat bread was a weird texture between soggy and rubbery. The Mac and cheese was the worst I've ever eaten, our 6 year old couldn't even finish his first bite - a box of Kraft is better than what they serve here. The BLT came with 2 small pieces of bacon...fake bacon...weirder bacon than the precooked Oscar Meyer. The fancy Nancy was supposed to have apples and grapes, but we didn't see or taste any. Just really bad food all around. Service wasn't anything to write home about either. Don't waste your time or money; there are far better restaurants in the area than this. read more

I really enjoyed lunch here. I had no idea there were so many versions of chicken salad. They also had egg and tuna on the menu. You can order a scoop or a sandwich and pair it with a salad or soup. The dining area is super cute too. I am looking forward to going back and trying something else! read more

Just tried this place today for the first time. All my co-workers rave about it. I was surprised by the variety of chicken salad recipes! I opted for the Lemon Basil BLT on a croissant with pasta salad and a cookie for dessert. The croissant was super flaky and fresh-tasting and the lettuce and tomato were fresh too. The chicken salad was very creamy and yummy! I was expecting a little more lemon & basil taste, as those flavors tend to be pretty dominant in most recipes. It's possible I was given the wrong thing but it was good, regardless. The pasta salad was delicious. The only negative was the bacon- it was very thin and pre-cooked then cooled so it tasted cold and like it had been made in the morning (I dined here at about 5:15pm). This definitely didn't "ruin" my experience, though. The cookie was like the frosted sugar cookies you get at the grocery store but definitely had a homemade flavor to it, and not as sickeningly sweet as the store-bought ones. I waited for my take-out order for MAYBE 2 minutes, very speedy service! And the gentleman at the counter was very cheerful, helpful, and seemed to actually enjoy his job. I regret not getting his name, he was very pleasant. Right up there with Chick-Fil-A service. I am excited to return and try their other recipes! read more

I went on Opening Day, and the service was great! It was my first time going, and I definitely enjoyed the food (Fancy Nancy is my favorite!). The second time I went I got the chicken salad BLT, which I have to admit was not my favorite due to the bread. Loved all the options. Fancy Nancy is my favorite so far. Fruity Fran is good too. Barbie Q was good but I like the others better. Pimento cheese is really good but a whole scoop is a lot to eat at one time. Same with the egg salad. They give you ample packets of crackers. Creative and modern. I've been twice and I've bought turkey pesto sandwich and the buffalo chicken salad sandwich. My heart hurts for the three employees trying to run this location today. There was a line of people all the way to the door (2 ft social distancing); the poor guy behind the counter was taking orders, serving the customers, restocking the supplies, emptying the trash and helping the online/pickup customers. He has earned more than whatever it is they are paying him. The young girl helping him was serving customers, assisting the cook in getting the orders together and many other tasks. They are truly very, very shorthanded (probably due to the pandemic) and they posted a sign on the door stating this and that your wait time might be 10-20 minutes past the normal wait time. We ordered our food online and had to wait 30 minutes past the pick-up time, so if you order food online, be prepared to wait. This pandemic brought out the best in these hard workers and the corporation and store manager should be proud of all three of them: the young man multi-tasking, the young girl assisting him and the cook. read more

I've loved Chicken Salad Chick for years. I love all their flavors and sides. I've literally eaten at this location 8 or 9 times since it opened. Everything I've had has been delicious and I'm happy to finally have a location close to home. My only complaint is this end of The Collection is busy and it's often hard to find parking. But that won't keep me from visiting this location! read more
