I ate the jalapeño chicken salad with crackers which was actually tasty with a small spicy kick. You didn't taste the mayonnaise, which was a treat. The workers was suggest I try this. The cookie was not too sweet but just enough. Would eat again.

Busy place! Very friendly and the chicken salads come in various kinds, with fruit or nuts . Bacon etc. broccoli salad side is especially good. Fruit was fresh. We left full but not stuffed which is great. We both got the double scoop two sides with two different chicken salads. You get good club crackers and a free frosted butter cookie too. Of course it was full of ladies but a few other guys were in there. We'd def go again. This was our first time. Ty said he liked the salads because they were not drenched in mayo or dressing. Thats a big plus.

When healthy food meets taste. So many good Options. Tuna salad. Chicken salad. Egg salad. Pasta salad. Grape salad. All the salads. And a variety of ingredients from sweet to savory--fruit, veggies, nuts. Quick in and out between baseball games with counter service. This is one of my favorite lunch places. It's also super cute. My husband and son say it's a girlie place , but they love the food too... lots of protein to fuel their muscles.

I have been here twice in the past month. The staff is very friendly and we had great service. The food was very fun and delicious. They also have a "quick chick" grab and go which is super convenient to take away as well as a drive through. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. Very enjoyable

Good affordable lunch. Quick service too. Clean restaurant and they do have high chairs for the kiddos.

Absolutely love the food and the service here! Every time I come they make me feel so welcomed! The chicken salads are delicious, and the prices, phenomenal!!!! The restaurant is super cute and clean. I love the feel of the place. Super recommend!!!!

    Reserved spots

Don't order Curbside pickup because they "don't do curbside" even though, there are 2 "reserved for online orders and curbside pickup" parking spots right out front.

I don't write many reviews and this one is unsolicited. I went through the drive through and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The chicken salad was delicious. The bread was fresh and the fruit salad was also fresh and sweet. It was like a plate from someone's home. Yummy!

I'm reviewing CSC again after a disappointing experience at the drive thru many months ago. This time, I ordered ahead online for a specific time and picked my order up at the restaurant. The order was ready at the appointed time, and everything was packed with care. The order included original chicken salad on a croissant, and two additional scoops of other varieties of chicken salad: Lauryn's Lemon Basil and Olivia's Old South style. All three were fresh, tasty, and delicious. On the side, I got a serving of Grape Salad that had a dressing of cream cheese and sour cream and topped with brown sugar and chopped pecans. Yummy! Always included is a dill pickle spear and a tiny soft iced sugar cookie. I also ordered additional slices of bread and some chocolate marshmallow treats. All of the food tasted good - the flavors of the different chicken salad varieties are tasty, and there's something to suit every taste. I'm amending my review from 3 to 5 stars based on ordering ahead and picking up. Because the restaurant is always so crowded during lunch, I highly recommend the order ahead function.

So walking in I have to admit... I don't think I've ever had chicken salad before. I feel like I've just avoided it cause I didn't like macaroni salad or potato salad growing up. Today I was looking for something to do for lunch and had decided on something else; but saw on FB this location had a one day $5 anniversary deal on a "Scoop or Sandwich" meal that came with a side & a cookie. Looked up their menu, and cause I've been trying to try things I didn't like as a kid again to see if I changed my mind I figured this was the best time to give it a chance. I came in expecting to try a turkey sandwich and get a scoop of the chicken salad as a side. That way if I stop didn't like it I still could finish the sandwich. Apparently the deal was for the scoop as the main or as a chicken salad scoop as a sandwich. So I went ahead and tried it as a sandwich and went with a chicken tortilla soup, again if I didn't like the chicken salad I could eat the soup. Well I didn't like the chicken salad, is it always supposed to taste so bland? Taste like your just eating gloopy Mayo? I'm going to stay with that I'm not a fan. Hopefully with how busy they had been that day I will lean into that at least it wasn't a bad chicken salad ... but not enough flavors for my palate. The chicken tortilla soup was good; not the best but good enough for something that I would consider similar to a sandwich places chicken tortilla soup vs something from a Mexican restaurant. I ended up taking 3/4 of my sandwich Togo and dropped it off to my husband at work. He didn't care for it either but is a bit of a human garbage disposal, so as long as it wasn't completely inedible he'll finish something. I will say staff deserves 5 stars, all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You order at the counter, & get your own drink. They bring your food to you at your table and at least when I was there you clear your own table. I saw a mix of having to go to the counter for a Togo box, which I did, and others just asking for one from an employee walking by. If your a chicken salad fan, give it a shot. I think I'll only be back if I have a friend or family member dead set on going but I'll get the turkey sandwich with a non-chicken salad side if I find myself here again.

I had the squash and my wife had a baked potato. Both of our sides were just barely luke warm. Disappointing. The steak tasted good but also "barely" lukewarm warm. Even when it tastes good the temperature of a good steak is paramount to your experience. Not quite sure if we are willing to try again.

I took a few pictures, and took it all in on our way in. Once inside, there is Western/Mexican art along the walls and comfortable cushioned round-back chairs--very comfy. Slow to be greeted but seated right away. Our server, Jared, did a wonderful job in all areas. I had the 10 oz ribeye, salad, and potato wedges. The wife had chicken tenders, salad, and fries. We got it all started with fried baby portobello mushrooms. My steak, cooked medium rare, was perfect size. Our salad was fresh and crispy (a real surprise). The house fries and wedges were really good. The mushrooms were a great start to our meal. They also have Lunch and Dinner Menu Specials that run $15 and under, with several decent options to choose from. We're very pleased with the value, pricing, and menu options at Sweetie Pies.

Just to the right of the sign were two Level 2 chargers. We each ordered two 2 meat plates, which included two sides. When we got home and opened the to-go boxes, we realized we had WAY over-ordered. We had enough for two meals for each of us! We had chicken and pork ribs, mac & cheese and flat green beans. It was very tasty with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce. I spoke with the owner and thanked him for supporting EVs, to which he replied, "How could I not? It's what's coming. How could I not get on board?" What happened today was unacceptable from the moment we walked in. The place was visibly dirty and completely unappetizing. The back area was mostly hidden behind what looked like a shower curtain, which did nothing to inspire confidence. There appeared to be only one man working, and he came out only a few times during the entire 45 minutes we waited. Even more concerning, there was a child who looked to be about eight or nine years old wearing latex gloves and repeatedly coming out to the front, apparently helping with restaurant tasks that no child should be doing. Despite having prepaid through Too Good To Go, no one acknowledged us for nearly 10 minutes. We stood in a hot dining room with almost no air conditioning while the child wandered in and out and the adult remained behind the curtain. More people arrived behind us, also with prepaid orders, until there were about 10 people waiting. We watched three other customers receive their food before us. One was a DoorDash driver, which made sense, and one woman had arrived before us. However, another woman with a very small order was served ahead of us even though she arrived after we did. When the man finally came out, we showed him our Too Good To Go order. He swiped the app, marking our order as picked up, then disappeared behind the curtain again and never returned with our food. After waiting 45 minutes in a sweltering dining room on a nearly 100-degree Texas day, we gave up. We left without the food we had already paid for. At that point, losing the cost of the meal was preferable to staying in that environment any longer. This was one of the worst pickup experiences I have ever had. Between the unsanitary conditions, the lack of staff, the presence of a child apparently performing restaurant tasks, the complete absence of customer service, and the fact that we never even received the order we had already paid for, I can say with complete confidence: We will never return.

I came here today a little after 5pm and did not get a greeting like everyone else did when I walked into the door. They were pretty busy with to go orders around this time. There is an entrance area where you order and pay for your food and a separate area for dining in. I ordered a catfish fillet with Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes and fried shrimp basket with fries and greens to go. I ordered at 5:15 and got my food at 5:45 and let me tell you, it was the longest wait of my life. I think the A/C must've been broken because it was hot in the waiting area and it didn't help that one of the front desk girls kept complaining about them still being open for another hour. There were a bunch of flies everywhere and the front area doesn't seem to be cleaned throughout the day. I also feel for the woman who puts the plates together because she's doing it by herself and was constantly asking the front desk girls to bag the orders. She stayed calm though and still greeted people as they were coming in. Now for the food. The shrimp basket was $25.99 and the catfish was $19.99. The shrimp was good, kids approved. The catfish was good too. All the food was made fresh to order so I can appreciate that for quality. Onto the sides. I think the French fries were accidentally season with sugar instead of salt. The greens were ok, just drenched with garlic. The Mac n cheese, ehhh. I was looking forward to the Mac n cheese but it wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting but tasted ok. The sweet potatoes were really good, probably my favorite side out of the four. The cornbread was moist and good. Overall, food was good but definitely overpriced. However, I do support small businesses but still think it's a bit overpriced based on portion size. They do require you pay for your food before you sit down if you are dining in. This may be because of too many incidents where people dine and dash. I do think that the lady behind the counter putting the plates together needs better help. No offense to the young girls they have working there but either train them or get someone who can actually do the job. If you are looking for true southern food, this ain't it. Texas food vs. southern food are 2 completely different things which I am learning the hard way now having lived here for a year.
