(Watch the old movie What's up Tiger Lily" and you'll see what i mean) Walking up on a Saturday morning just before noon, the place is comfortable and decorated very tastefully, wooden floors and carpet. The staff is inviting and seem interested in your dining experience. I can appreciate that! The menu is something that appeals to those that eat lightly and with comfort foods in mind. As I'm still trying to stay in the Keto diet realm, i took my time to review and selecting the scoop of Sassy Scott chicken salad and the chicken alfredo soup. I found it delicious as the chicken salad had a touch of Smokey cheesy flavor and the soup was savory and creamy. I should have opted for a bowl instead of the cup but the quantity was satisfactory. My take away was that they really need to refine the portion even if they increase the price as i left a little hungry. Had a Togo lunch today. I will definitely be adding an update once I dine in! I went with the chick combo. Sassy Scotty on croissant and a side of Mac And Cheese. The Sassy Scotty was delicious. Flavorful, nice cheesiness. I wish there was more in the sandwich. The ratio wasn't what I would've hoped. I think next time I will have to order just a scoop and eat with crackers or chips. The Mac and cheese was creamy with a little spice. JUST LIKE THE DESCRIPTION! It was good and satisfying. I will for sure need to order the pimento cheese scoop. I love pimento spreads. Very Good! I had the Classic Carol chicken salad, grape salad and pasta salad. It was delicious, and I'm looking forward to trying the other options. I don't know what took me so long (since I AM a chicken salad chick), but I finally tried it and I love it! You can get salads, sandwiches w choice of bread (not just chicken salad either), soups, sides, and desserts. There are so many different kinds of chicken salads! I got the savory lemon and the Dixie chick (onion) and loved both! I bought some of the classic too, which I'm sure will be great. They say the chicken salads are gluten free... I have a daughter with Celiac and I asked the manager about it. She stated they make everything in house, no gluten ingredients, and should be safe for Celiac... As far as cross contamination: she said to just tell them your issue so they will change gloves, clean station, clean paper,etc. Of course they use breads and wrapped crackers, so make sure they know not to use them (no gluten free bread, but can get the scoops on salad or just plain and bring your own crackers or bread). I have not taken my dtr there yet, but instead bought some to take home so she can try it. I will definitely be back! read more

Place kinda looked like a typical fast food place but w a little bit of a southern hospitality vibe to it (?). Great salad!!! I'm glad this chain focuses on good healthy food. The spicy pimiento is just amazing even without bread! The concept is great and has something for everyone, awesome family place or to eat out. Prices are just perfect for the portion sizes and best thing they serve it in nice plastic containers. The only problem with chicken salad chick is it is next door to Fadis. I have difficulty choosing between them. The choices are many and healthy. I always end up ordering jalapeño chicken salad. That with a side salad and a soda makes for a perfect lunch. Why is this frequented mainly by women. Men better get with healthy eating. read more

I had: The Classic Carol is a simple traditional and delicious chicken salad... it came on a romaine leaf... it did not a large chunky pieces but all ingredients were chopped finer, and it made for each taste including all the flavors. I got the Dixie Chick and broccoli salad and my wife had the Classic Carol with pasta salad side. Both were wonderful. This location just opened and the owners were mingling and seeing how everything tasted; really nice folks. Along with the food, the decor and layout made the whole experience worthwhile. I'm so disappointed after hearing such great things. We ordered the fancy Nancy and the basil lemon salads on croissants. There was so little salad on the fancy Nancy that I didn't really taste anything other than bread.I had to open it up to see if there was any salad on it. The other sandwich had a bit more on it but again I thought skimpy. Both side salad were just alright. We had the grape and the broccoli salad s AS sides. I doubt if we'll go back. This was an ok place. It was way too crowded to try to stay and eat when I was there for lunch with some other teachers this August. People were swooping in on any table as the people got up. As for the food, it was ok. I won't be going back. The chicken salad was pretty bland. I got the buffalo chicken salad on a croissant and it had enough buffalo sauce to tint it a light orange. This place makes excellent chicken salad. To be more specific, they make a variety of chicken salad types to satisfy everyone. You can get it on bread or just a scoop with crackers. I get scoops and ask for extra leaves of lettuce and then I make lettuce wraps. It gets busy right at 11:00.
