Loaded potatoe soup
Carrie S.

The for was good, also well priced. Was greeted when I entered the establishment and she was helpful with the menu. The place seemed very quiet and chill around 5 pm. I had an egg salad sandwich with loaded potatoe soup. It also came with a small cookie

Mary D.

While that sandwich was tasty, it wasn't completely what I ordered. It was missing the B the L and the T. The broccoli salad was nice and sweet. The watermelon iced tea was a first and the taste was surprising. More ice would have made it more refreshing. I would have given more stars if the sandwich was complete. It was tasty.

Fancy Nancy chicken salad on croissant and a side of grape salad.

I've driven past so many times, so I decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I chose the "fancy Nancy" chicken salad and a side of grape salad. I chose the refreshing watermelon tea to wash it all down. The restaurant itself is bright and cheery and pretty lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their food as much as I was. I felt the price to be fair.

I have seen the signs and knew they existed, but I've never been inside. Had the kids out enjoying the day on spring break, we had to run an errand. So we came in here because it was close by. I did not know they had so many different flavors of chicken salad. And so many different kinds of sandwiches. Anytime I go to a good sandwich joint I start feeling like brother man from martin. That's when I know it's on. So you can pick any one of 20 different flavors of chicken salads and then have them make a sandwich or salad with it. That is super crazy. I got the spicy chicken. But I also bought two others for a wifey to try. She loved them both. Their croissants are extra rich and flaky. Makes for the perfect sandwich. They have a white chocolate cake that is so good and moist. Their service is pretty fast we were out the door in no time. This is the third spot I visited in the shopping center. A lot of goodies here.

The food is always great! They have a new Southwest Chicken Salad and it's delicious! I ordered the Potato Soup as my side and it was the perfect match! Always eat here when in town!

Let me say that I love chicken salad! I'm visiting this area and went out of my way to visit this restaurant. They will let you taste the different varieties (I'm very picky with my salad). I had 3 choices and it was hard to choose one. I decided on the Fruity Fran, with grapes and pineapple. It was a tough choice. They were all delicious. I can't wait to go back the next time I'm in the area.

The best cookies ever!!!

We are out here visiting from Oregon, and if I could BEG a company to move to Oregon, it would be this one. The flavors are on point! We have been here twice in the week we've been visiting and I'm hoping to go in one more time - trying different flavors each time. It is a refreshing place with folks there to help out with anything. Everyone was always smiling and super helpful. Thank you to all the ladies that have helped us each time we've been in there - all while smiling. Absolutely IN LOVE with this place and will be back on our next visit out here. Thank you!!! Oh! And if you get a chance, buy a dozen of those little cookies that come with your meal. You won't regret it! The BEST!

Chicken Salad Chick is one of my wife and daughter's favorite restaurants, so I agreed to go there for lunch with them yesterday while we were out in Mt. Pleasant. We had the Buffalo Barclay, Kickin' Kay Lynne, Sassy Scotty, and Fancy Nancy scoops; all of which were pretty good. My favorite was the Buffalo Barclay, it had the most seasoning and taste out of the four scoops. My least favorite (but still good) was the Sassy Scotty, it was just lacking the flavor I desired. We also had the Broccoli Salad which I have enjoyed at other Chicken Salad Chick locations before, but here it was rather bland. Service here was great. The young ladies behind the counter were nice and friendly.

I know it's technically a chain, but I actually love CSC, especially for a quick lunch. My friend is a teacher in Mt. Pleasant, and we meet here often, because it's one of the few places we can get in and out of in under and hour. The food is quality, the atmosphere is casual, and the staff is super friendly. I love Lauryn's Lemon Basil (lots of savory flavor from the basil, with the perfect amount of citrus to balance it out), the Pimento cheese, the Cranberry Kelli, the Fancy Nancy, and the Sassy Scotty (loved the combination of flavors and slight smokiness of the bacon). But everything I've at here has been delish! They also have soups, salads, sandwiches, and cookies, and as someone who loves chicken salad, I think CSC is pretty quality. My friend even ordered a tub to go to serve at her bridal shower!

Poor service. Kind of rude. Left out 2 of the 3 items in my order then acted annoyed when I asked for the rest of my order.

We had to try the Apple Pie shots since everyone seems to talk about them. This is way more complex than some apple flavor liquor. The ingredients take some prep work, and the result is something that literally tastes like apple pie. If they bottled this, I would definitely buy it. They have two specialty drinks, the Freshy and the Orange Crush, both of which are made with fresh squeezed juice squeezed right when you order. I had the Freshy which is orange or grapefruit juice with your favorite liquor. I chose grapefruit with vodka and even though I am not a huge fan of grapefruit the freshness and tartness of the drink made it quite enjoyable. My wife had the Orange Crush with Deep Eddy's O.J vodka, Triple Sec, Sprite and some of that fresh squeezed orange juice. It was nice and sweet which was good since we were ordering a lot of savory options. The Potato Skins arrived first and they were truly impressive. Good sized skins with the perfect amount of potato, not too thick or too dry and definitely homemade. They had mixed cheese, bacon and green onions served with sour cream also loaded with green onions. As far as all the potato skins I have had these were a standout. Next came the onion rings with an absolute massive serving for just eight dollars. You could tell they were homemade and served with a chili garlic sauce. The best part was the batter coating which was crispy yet didn't fall off when bent or bitten. They reheated nicely in the air fryer. Next, we tried the Toasted Raviolis which were filled with Italian sausage and served with a house made marinara. They were nice and crispy, but the true star was the marinara sauce which was thick and chunky with parmesan mixed all throughout. I wish they had more dishes that used this sauce as it was excellent. On the advice of some regulars, I tried the chicken fingers which were all breast meat, dill brined and hand battered. It was good advice since the chicken was juicy and tender with a flavorful coating. Sometimes it pays to ask. My wife ordered the thing they are known for their Philly Cheesesteak. She decided on double meat, and they were super generous to the point she looked at me and said, "I don't know how I am going to finish this!". This cheesesteak gets nominate for a lot of best of lists and I could see why. I liked that the cheese was mixed in with the meat and not just poured on top. She enjoyed it but said next time she will order it as is. This is a great place to hang out and relax and maybe catch a band or some bluegrass and enjoy a great meal!

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the service throughout our lunch was attentive and welcoming. Everyone at our table loved their meals -- burgers, fries, and sandwiches all around with rave reviews. I ordered "The Bird," and it was absolutely delicious: perfectly cornmeal-breaded with a crispy fried crunch on the outside while staying incredibly moist and flavorful inside. Instead of cake, our group brought blueberry pies and vanilla ice cream, and the staff graciously took everything to the kitchen, sliced and plated the pie, added generous scoops of ice cream, and even placed birthday candles on each slice. Such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration extra special. The atmosphere along the water made it even better. For food, I tried the fried catfish entree and Green apple-cauliflower soup. Both dishes were good. The fish was very tender and juicy. The butter bean succutash, which I never had before, contained butter beans, black eyed peas, corns, green and red peppers and red onions. It was delicious but since beans are of high FODMAP, I only had a little. The fish was topped with tomato jam made with crushed tomatoes, onions and sugar. It was served chilled. Paired well with the fish and succutash. The soup was creamy, silky, and full of flavor from cauliflower. The pistachio added some crunchiness to it. The taste of "green apple" was not obvious; in fact I was expecting there to be some apple slices, which could add extra texture and sourness to this rich soup. I also asked for a side of sourdough. A bit too salty for me. The service was kinda slow, except that food came out in reasonable amoutn of time **after I placed the order**, that is, I waited quite a while to order my food. The same for doing the check. I guess it was because there were not many staff at lunchtime, and most of them were senior thus could move as fast as young ppl.

There's something about the name "Acme" and good seafood when it comes to coastal restaurants…read more Along the Gulf, you think of Acme Oyster House. On the coastal Atlantic, we recommend Acme Low Country Kitchen. You get five-star food in a rustic setting that could benefit for a bit of a makeover -- but only a touch or two. Excellent service compliments the food. On our plate: The "Light: House, including sauteed shrimp, seared scallops and a house-made, fresh crab cake that comes with a caveat that a shell chip or two might be mixed (we call that authentication). All were perfectly prepared and ample sized. This wasn't a shrimp-and-chips drive-through; this was a meal. Our sides: Collards (this is the low country) and fried Brussel sprouts, again well prepared. Price: $38.25 and among the higher-priced items on the seafood-heavy menu but worth it. Others in our party, including two non seafood eaters, chose the pecan fried chicken (two breast with one each going home because of the size) with another going with the Carolina Duo of the chicken and short ribs. Will we return? Yes. There are other options we've yet to try as our visits to Charleston increase but this was a real treat. Even better, it is near the fabled Dingy beach bar where we ducked in to watch the Kentucky Derby. We could spend our retirement years at The Dingy but that's another review to come. Acme is a 4.5-star review with the only points shaved because it just needs a little updating (after the season, perhaps). The food and service more than make up for it.

We walked in and the place was emptier than a church on a Wednesday night, yet somehow we were told to head on over to the bar, wait for a table, and go ahead and order ourselves a drink. Didn't make much sense, but we did as we were told. Then we stood there a good 10 minutes while the bartender, who let us know he's studying to be a dentist up in Spartanburg, was busy chatting away with another customer like we weren't even there. When he finally got around to us, it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. But the real kicker came after we finally got our drinks. The manager came up, and I kid you not, told us we had to leave the restaurant and go out to the parking lot to finish them. No explanation, just attitude, and not a polite one either. To be honest, the manager seemed like she might have had a little too much Easter spirit, if you catch my drift. The whole interaction was downright combative and made us feel completely unwelcome. What really got me, though, was the poor hostesses and waitstaff. They apologized to us over and over and quietly let us know this kind of situation is something they deal with on a daily basis. We even heard her speaking sharply to another customer, which made it clear this wasn't just a one time issue. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a bad trip to the dentist and cost about the same as a root canal. All in all, it was a mess from start to finish, rude, confusing, and about as un Southern hospitality as you can get. I would think twice before going back, y'all.
