Atmosphere was clean and service was friendly and quick. We both ordered jumbo chicken tenders I ordered mine medium the was ordered hot. The food was really good. Fries were crispy and the jumbo chicken tenders were cooked and seasoned well. The drinks were refreshing. We enjoyed our experience!

I stopped at Chicken Wagon after a health screening event before heading back to New Orleans. I couldn't decide what to get so what not try it all? I really like the chicken sandwich, loaded mac and cheese and the coleslaw. Coleslaw is only good to me when it's crunchy and this one was perfect. The location was very clean and the staff members were pleasant. It takes a couple of minutes to get your meal but being that everything was freshly prepared, it's understood.

Typing this as a I prepare to head back to this spot today. I heard the rave and didn't go with high hopes because I've heard it all before on other spots. I have had many hot chicken spots and there is one in my book (not in BR) that reigns supreme. On my first visit after the first bite, I knew I had my local spot! Yall better help me keep this place going :) The chicken tenders are huge for the price and seasoned perfectly. The chicken sandwich was also huge and yummy. Everything came out piping hot. The fries were ok but I'm not here for that, I'm here for the chicken. The place is clean and they have a drive thru. I got medium heat but about to start going up the levels. Highly recommend!

Food is always piping hot and fresh.

Definitely was not disappointed by my first experience at Chicken Wagon after hearing rave reviews about their Nashville style hot chicken. The sandwich is fantastic with a lot of flavor and a nice bit of heat with the medium The fries are crispy and go great in the Wagon Sauce or ketchup. I had to add a side of mac and cheese which was super creamy and extra cheesy and great with a fork and in my sandwich. Nice atmosphere with plenty of space to sit inside. Service is good but no welcome when I walked in just a blank stare until I said hello. But that's neither here nor there. The food is bangin and I strongly recommend going.

Chicken sandwich and fries. Chicken was HUGE and spicy! Delish. I smushed the bun. Don't blame them. LOL

You will have to wait a bit for your food (didn't bother me any) but it's fresh and hot with a reasonable price and a decent taste. How often do you come across a reasonable price paired with fresh and decent tasting food that also comes from a drive thru? Not often. The honey on the chicken is the real star of the show, I should've asked for a couple more packets of honey! It's so good with the chicken! The sauce isn't canes level good but it's very good. I would go back again for a quick meal most definitely.

This is a great spot to get lunch. They even have a drive thru! It's very clean and new looking in there. I got the sliders combo 5, medium spice. I didnt think it was spicy, will try hot next time. I really liked how the food comes with honey too, a great touch. The fries are super crunchy, even after driving back to work. I ordered my food online and picked it up, I did have to wait around 10 minutes even after I got there. The service was cool, although I didn't have to interact that much since I ordered online. If you're concerned about calories or protein content, they don't have nutritional information available yet since they just opened in May.

It is located in a shopping center on Staring Lane. Newer building and very fun look and atmosphere. The service was excellent and every one was very helpful. I ordered the loaded fries in the hot level. The fries and chicken were both cooked perfect for me. Crispy and hot. It has crinkle fries with sliced chicken tenders. They add seasoning, sauce and shredded cheese. To me the hot was never very spicy but i think it is the combination of it being sliced plus the cheese and fries with it. Overall very good. Price was around $13. Pretty much as expected.

10/10 would always prefer this over canes! the tenders were HUGE and juicy!! I got the spiciest flavor and it definitely delivered a nice kick. The service was quick. wish we could sub out the toast for extra fries without extra cost though. The plan having lots of seating and the restaurant ambiance was causal. drive thru for us is 100% recommended as they were very fast with our order

Update: I have been back and the food is still good, although I'd like to note and agree with others on the point that it is nothing spectacular that makes it stand out amongst the crowd of other fried chicken places. Don't get me wrong, the food does taste good. It's fresh, crispy, and nice quality, but it's just not anything to RAVE about. I would go back if I'm in the area and had a taste for a chicken sandwich. The new building is still clean and tidy. The service is also still very good.

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food was good, ordered Combo 4 which is two chicken sliders. Portion size was fair a it smaller than expected. Flavor of chicken was good, but not spicy enough for the "hot" spice level. Flavor of crinkle cut fries was good too. Got an extra side of the sauce which had good flavor Service is everything with F&B and it was counter service so Just standard service, no wait staff. This place does have similar vibes like Dave's Hot Chicken, which is a colorful fun atmosphere.

#1 Combo- chicken sandwich- mild Has: Chicken Breast, Coleslaw, Pickles, Wagon Sauce on a Brioche Bun.

I've been dying to try this place, and it was worth it, loved this chicken sandwich, it's delicious! I like that you can pick the level of spice you'd like. I got mild and know next time I'd get it a little spicier. The staff was friendly and patience with me as I decided what to pick. Loved the #1 but can't wait to try more things. I loved how much food you get, it's a good sized sandwich! The sauce to dip your fries is where it's at, so good!

But after looking around for a moment, she found a more descriptive menu. I suppose if you're a regular, that's not an issue. For a first timer, it's weird. I came here with high hopes for an Italian hoagie ("The Italian"). A good Italian hoagie is hard to find in the heart of po-boy country. The meat and cheese on this version is good, but the sandwich is kind of small and a bit dry. The menu says it includes roasted red peppers, but that was missing from my sandwich. It does appear they have a nice variety of bagels. Overall not bad, but I'm still in search of a good Italian hoagie.

I had a personal vegetarian pizza and hubs had eggplant parm. Prices are very reasonable. I love their food and waitstaff is excellent- the 20 and 30 minute wait times not so much. Even the bar was SRO. It is a testament to their quality that it takes an act of DOG to get seated quickly. (I'm usually hangry when I get off work.I want to getting fed in 20 or 30 minutes, not just be seated and they don't take reservations. Our server was absolutely horrible last night. We will not be coming back due to how badly the service was handled. Out server on our ticket was JaNet A. I am giving the 2 stars instead of the one solely because i do love my food. if you sit on the left hand side of the restaurant the noise carries and it can get really loud. The place was not packed to set the tone. When we ordered our drinks my dad asked if she had grapefruit juice-depending on the answer was going to depend on what he was going to order. She took a while to come back for an answer- When she delivers my daughters food- she then confirms there is not grapefruit juice. We order eggrolls - She does not deliver them to us. - another server did. There is a hole in the wall when you sit on the left hand side that connects to the bar to what I assume the servers can order drinks. We can see her talking and talking. Mind you it has been 40 minutes since our SALAD had been ordered. We asked another server to go get her. The other server tells our server "hey your table is asking for you" and she raises her finger to the sever telling her "one more minute." Mind you she is not serving the people she is socializing with. We order our salad which is supposed to come before our entree especially since he got a pasta entree. When she comes we state we have been waiting 40 minutes for a salad and her response was "Well I did put your food order in" She then goes to the back and pops out with both the salad and the pasta. My dad states the salad is supposed to come before my meal?? what is happening to which she states that she can just bring the pasta in the back until he's done with the salad or he can just not eat at all. LIKE WHAT??? A manager had to take it off the ticket which is more disappointing that he did not take it upon himself to say I'm sorry or anything. THEN my sandwich and salad comes which makes me wonder why is my sandwich taking longer than a pasta dish. Unfortunately I did not trust for her to take my food in the back to box it herself since there was so much tension so I asked for a box. We got there at 6:30 and stayed until 8:30 to only get one drink - one app and one sandwich with salad. & my daughter got buttered noodles

The sandwhiches are always filling and I never need to get the full length ones, the half size is good enough for me and I'm a big guy too. I've had the pastrami and the corned beef hot subs, both I can highly recommend. Each location has a fine selection of hot sauces as well. I'd like to see this place employ more people from the firefighting community to be a regular part of their restaurant experience to keep it original and not just capitalizing on the whole idea of firefighters starting a restaurant. Nonetheless it's another fresh take on a common theme of two pieces of bread and what you can put between them and present in a welcoming / fun environment in which to consume it all at a price you can live with.

I couldn't wait to be one of the first customers at this location. You see, I read an article that mentioned there was a version of this restaurant in MS near the coast. That was a huge bummer since I spent the majority of time out there and never knew it existed. But, you don't care about me, you want to know about the que! I am a Texas BBQ fanatic. If I could eat brisket every day, I would. The problem is that for many many years, no one in Louisiana understood good Texas style BBQ. That all changed when folks like Nola Smokehouse and later Gonzo's (The current champ) came arond and showed us what we were missing. Salt, Pepper, Oak (SPO) is one of the latest in the modern LA BBQ joints that does the best Texas BBQ a LA boy could hope for. Brisket - This is my primary reason for coming. It is always smoky, flavorful, and oh so briskety. If you have had real deal Texas BBQ, you know what real brisket is like. This is it. It is delicious. Everything else - Thats the thing with SPO. It is so much more than just brisket. When I am feeling a little wild, I get brisket and something else. The excellent something elses include turkey breast, wings, sausage, and those tallow fries. All are as good as the brisket. Trust me when I tell you, this place is legit. The location is in an industrial area but is well laid out, and there is plenty of seating. Pay with a card in the line, make your drink, grab utensils, and grab a seat. They bring your food to you. The whole process is super easy and you will love it. PS. Their mustard based sauce is the best I have ever had. Send me the recipe if anyone has it. Please!
