My brother-in-law told me and my husband about this place since he knows how much my husband loves fried chicken and how much I love Korean food. We ordered two dozen chicken. We got two flavors: One bucket is Buldak and the other is Cheese and Vegetable. I don't even remember which one I like more but they're both delicious! The chicken was moist, the batter was not too thick, and the sauce/seasoning was perfect! Now that I'm writing this review, I'm craving their chicken again! I'm excited to order chicken from them again and try their other flavors.

    My favorite flavor

I was so excited to find Chicko Chicken here in Seattle, so of course I had to stop by the Burien location-- and it did not disappoint. The flavor was just as amazing as I remembered. I ordered the soy garlic, and wow... that perfect balance of sweet and savory is unbeatable. Crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. If you like milder heat, this is the absolute best choice. The staff were genuinely friendly, and the whole place felt clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I am even more of a fan on my 2nd visit. Both the boneless and bone in were good. Tried a new sauce called herb cheese and I liked it. If you think cheese snow is too sweet, try the herb cheese. Portions are good and a full size order can feed 2 average adults.

This order was a takeout. Very nice and friendly staff, service was on time. This is the spot for Korean fried chicken. I was very satisfied with the chicken. The Yangyeom chicken was sweet and spicy. It was a perfect crunchy texture and the sauce didn't make it soggy. The Cheese Snow chicken was savory and sweet and cheesy of course. It was coated perfectly the chicken was juicy and not dry. Next time will comeback and dine in for sure.

Mid you're looking for KFC - this is the spot. Great sauces and fresh as it gets. Small joint with great service. I'll be back

This was a random pick when getting into town. A surprisingly really good pick. Drove up from Seattle for a weekend and saw this place on yelp. Thought it had good ratings and we were in the mood for fried chicken why not make it Korean. Got the garlic soy, yangyeom, and buldak. The buldak was too spicy for the other two people I was with but it was my level of spice. I want to try the spicier one next time when I'm not having to share. Will definitely pay this place another visit when I'm in town.

Happy that there's a Korean Fried Chicken spot close by for those days where the craving is real but I don't wanna drive too far out for it. It's conveniently located in the Burien Plaza so there's plenty of parking. The inside has a few tables but if you're a party is bigger than 4, expect to sit at different tables or potentially combine the tables if they'll let you. The staff was very friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The food was piping hot and the pieces were huge! Each bite came with a loud crunch and the inside was juicy. We definitely enjoyed the Cheese Snow flavor and it was very nostalgic of flavors back home in Asia. The Soy Garlic was good but felt as though the glaze could be a bit thicker as the soy garlic flavor wasn't super prominent in it. The fries also had a good balance of crisp outside and soft potato inside. Will definitely want to come back to try the other flavors.

Chicko Chicken did not disappoint! It's located in a spacious shopping center with plenty of parking. We ordered half & half and selected the Cheese Snow and Yangyeom flavors. Despite not eating it right away and bringing our take-out home to Federal Way about 20-25 minutes away, the chicken was surprisingly still crispy and juicy! The pieces are also larger than other Korean chicken shops that I have been to. I really liked the Cheese Snow flavor, but did not think the Yangyeom flavor was memorable, so I would probably pick something else next time. Overall, I had a great first experience and can't wait for the Federal Way location to open!

Been wanting to check this place out since it's close by. Ordered to-go. Very easy to order online and pick it up at a certain time! (: They were fast and friendly! The chicken was really good. In terms of the chicken, it was really good. The pieces were big and the flavoring was nice. My favorite was the haek buldak because it was actually spicy! The cheese snow was pretty good too. It reminded me of Cheetos dust! I also ordered the French fries. They were actually really good and crispy. The only complaints I have is I wish they had some sauces on the side they could sell and their pickled radish is on the smaller side... You prob have to buy like 3-4 larges if you like the pickles. You should def try this place out if you're craving KFC (Korean fried chicken)!

The cheese shake fries are so good. But I find the honey butter is kind weird- it tastes like vanilla sweet cream.

I thought the…read moresnack bar had some more sauces where you could make your own but there's only one on your table labeled dipping sauce. The pork belly comes with a sauce they bring for you. Speaking of pork belly they were too chewy we cooked it for long enough and it was still very chewy. Service was trash. The lady that was our server poured all the meat on our fryer so half of the meat was stacked on top of each other so it took longer to cooked. We're already on a 90 minute time crunch. If my step dad wasn't pestering the lady for a next round they wouldn't have checked on us and we would've been waiting for 30 minutes. While we were waiting for the second round the lady told us to turn off our heater when we're not using it, the man later came and turned it back on and told us to keep it at level 400-500. The next time we got the food she tried to put all the meat on the fryer again my step dad said "It's okay we got it, thank you" she looked at us like we didn't know what we were doing. Later on she looked at how we put everything on the fryer she looked and laughed at us TWICE.

The food itself was enjoyable and we appreciated having a place where we could gather and cook together for a special occasion. The meats were flavorful and we still made the best of our time there. Unfortunately, the service experience was disappointing. Throughout our meal, staff did not check in on our table to see how things were going. Our grill and grill parchment paper were not changed, and our banchan dishes were not refilled. No one explained whether banchan refills were available since we did not choose the AYCE option. We also noticed that sesame oil, which is typically offered at most Korean restaurants, was not provided and seemed to be kept behind the counter instead of being offered to our table. One thing that stood out to us was that we were the only Asian customers dining at the time. We observed staff spending a significant amount of time checking in on other tables multiple times, while our table did not receive the same level of attention. The difference in attentiveness felt noticeable, and honestly, it felt intentional. At the end of our visit, no one thanked us or said goodbye, which made the experience feel impersonal, especially since we were there celebrating a birthday. We came in excited to celebrate together as a family. While the food was good, the lack of attentiveness and communication impacted our overall experience. We hope the service can improve so that all guests feel equally welcomed and cared for..

Been going here for several years now - poke has always been solid and the Hawaiian dishes were good not great. But today it was all different - everything was outstanding! Wife got a 2 salmon scoop poke : fish was great as always, but the seasoned potatoes (gamja jorim) she chose as 1 of 3 sides was very good. Dad had the hwae-dupbap (think of it as Korean bibimbap but with poke instead of meat) and the Cho-gochujang sauce was excellent. I had the loco moco and it was better than in the past. Also the banchan with that were fire (seasoned japchae noodles, spicy shredded radish) both better than in the past They sell most of the side dishes as banchan and as a Korean I fully endorse them. I am a huge Korean banchan snob and I will absolutely countersign their cooking I don't know what's going on but like I said - everything tastes better than before. The table wait was minimal and totally acceptable. The room was simple (a good thing), and the restaurant's popularity made for a busy but relaxed atmosphere. Our greeter/server was efficient and polite. The sushi was surprising good! Perfectly cooked sushi-rice, and well proportioned topping of fish and other ingredients made for enjoyable bites. The sushi chefs are well trained and talented. Definitely recommend sampling their selections of sushi. You won't be disappointed. Five stars for this. Now for the grill part. Yakisoba is usually a grill item, as it's a stir-fried noodle dish, with it's distinctive Japanese flavor profile, and ingredients. Unfortunately, this was a miss. Though the soy-sauce coloring was correct, the flavor profile was not. The amount of beef in it was acceptable, but the other components were a miss. The only vegetable component was shaved-like slices of small zucchini which I could count with one hand. That seemed to treated more like a garnish, than a component of the dish. Had the grill-cook finished it with a drizzle of tonkatsu-sauce, it would've been closer to what was suggested on the menu. They should rename it "pan-fried beef-noodles" instead. Sure wasn't Beef Yakisoba. Other than that, table-side service was excellent, and the sushi was first rate. Just not the "yakisoba", cuz it wasn't. I will upgrade and edit this review if a few things are fixed.
