I was greeted pretty fast and ordered an half Original wings with fries. They have a bunch of other wings sauces as well. I ended getting a full chicken order and no fries. I ain't going back so let me try the wings. I think I got the Soy Garlic & Soy Gangjung. If it's the Gangjung it taste good at first....chicken was juicy then the spice kicked in and it was too hot for me. Slowed down for a minute and tried the Soy Garlic and that was good. First of all, Vino has impeccable customer service! Our first time there, we had questions and he spoke very honestly. He guaranteed the quality of what you pay for would be worth it and BOY was he correct. We just really liked the fact that he said that it is a "little pricey" for the area but Vino was right by saying it's worth it!! I'm not a take out girl but Chicko Chicken delivers on quality. I think the leftovers might even be better! It keeps the crunch and overall goodness. It's not tossed in thick breading. I ordered ahead on their website because everyone was saying the chicken can take 15 minutes as it is fried to order. I ordered the Soy Garlic boneless half and Shake Shake Fries. First, the GOOD: place was very clean when I picked up, and the guy behind the counter was friendly. The half order was easily enough for lunch for one person - with fries it's a 2-person meal. The chicken was piping hot, and the fries were crunchy and delicious. Considerately, the cheese powder comes in a separate container so you can dump it on and then shake the bag to disperse so it doesn't get soggy (hence the reason for the name "Shake Shake Fries" I suppose). Now, the BAD: the cheese powder to put on the fries is VERY weird (hey, I'm a Wisconsonite originally - we know our cheese) - it's sweet, not savory, and leaves an odd aftertaste in the mouth. The Soy Garlic had NO soy flavor, and NO garlic flavor either - in fact, it tasted much more like a honey sauce. I almost questioned if I got the right item, but when I looked at the pictures online, my order looks like the other pictures of Soy Garlic, so I can only assume it's meant to not taste like either soy or garlic. It didn't taste bad per se, but certainly not what I was wanting. I would try it again, but will definitely be trying a different flavor, and regular fries ONLY from now on. read more

The food here is usually good, but I was disappointed with my recent order. I got the "wing special" expecting only wings, but it included both wings and legs. So excited that there's a Korean fried chicken place in Burien! I got the half and half with the buldak and cheese snow. The cheese snow had an odd aftertaste but it wasn't bad, just unique? I usually like big franchisees like Pelicana and BB.Q because they know how to fry chicken right, keeping it juicy. Most of the smaller KFC places might have gotten the sauce right. But oftentimes, their chicken was dry.Chicko did not disappoint!! The quality is comparable to Pelicana and BB.Q and the price is much better. Pelicana's chicken size has been shrinking so their chicken became dry. I liked how Chicko chicken was big and they were generous with the sauce. I didn't have much interaction with the staff as I was just picking up the online order. But they seemed friendly. I've tried this place about a dozen times now. The chicken has been consistently good! I've had tried a few different KFC and this one is my favorite around the Seattle area. I've tried all the flavors and they're all pretty good but my favorite ones are the cheese and herb and the buldak extra spicy! I wish they sold big trays for party sizes because I'd definitely order from them a few times for the summer parties!
