Prettgood pizza could work on the crust a little bit, plenty of room and it's a Byob which is ok I guess

This is probably about a 3.5 star review but the following factors bump it up to 4, 1) Great customer service 2) They're open til 4am on the weekend. 3) They pretty much deliver anywhere The thin crust pizza is good, tangy sauce, flaky crust, and good toppings. The breaded steak sandwiches are surprisingly good. They have excellent steak fries. The pan pizza is good as well, for an unusual but good twist try it with gyro meat yes that's a topping here! My favorite is the calzone, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Cheesy and they don't skimp with the filling. And a nice big cup of marinara on the side. To me this is a good late night joint and certain things are very good here. Should also note that a friend told me the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is very good here, but that's word of mouth more than anything. If you're up for some good late night eats and within seemingly a five mile radius this place is definitely worth a try. read more

Ordered at 1 am food hot on time and good sized portions. Had steak qusadillas, bbq beef, minestrone soup , carrot cake and cheese cake . Driver was courteous. Bbq beef uses a bbq sause that is tangy and along tge line of an open pit taste. In other words not a,sweet thick type like baby rays. The bread was very good, not hard, not mushy. Nice size and cut in half already. I could only eat half. Soup was very good. Qusidillas were plentiful and fresh. Will order again. Helps that they are late nite and good on top of that. read more

After reading some of the older reviews, I'm really surprised this place has gotten such bad reviews. I've been here twice now, once when I first moved nearby 9 months ago, and once today. Both times were pretty fantastic, and run by Hispanics who spoke Spanish, so I have no idea why several reviewers questioned if this place is Italian or Mexican... Anyway... In July/August 2015: they had a birthday party or something going on that took up the entire restaurant, but everybody was extremely courteous to me as I walked to the register to pay for and pick up my food (I had ordered pick-up, but I don't remember how). They told me there would be a wait, which I thought was fine because I had arrived early anyway. Instead of letting me stand there awkwardly while everybody watched their kids dance with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, they grabbed a chair for me immediately and seated me right next to the cashier, who happily asked me about myself, my culture, etc. She made me feel very valued not only as a customer, but as a human being. She seemed genuinely curious yet respectful. When my food arrived, a young man handed it to me, helping me to balance it as best he could (I ordered pizza, burgers, soup, and a salad for a house of 4 men and me - it was a pretty tall and heavy stack of food, and I'm only 5'1"!). I believe he even asked if he could help me deliver them, but this was months ago so I'm not certain. Anyway, since the floor was full of dancers and spectators, the cashier and the man laughed as I kind of cocked my head wondering how I could get out without being a nuisance to people, then swiftly offered an alternative escape route through their kitchen. I was surprised, because restaurants seem to usually want to keep their kitchens a secret, probably because they're always so darn messy. However, Chikago's kitchen was beautiful and clean, despite there being a huge party and having just finished my large order as well. As for the quality of the food, my housemates absolutely loved their burgers, and I enjoyed my soup. I don't remember how the pizza was, but one housemate asked me months later where I got everything from; he wanted to get more of the food. Fast forward to today, my boyfriend and I finally decided to use the 20$ voucher we had purchased off Groupon/Restaurant.com. Best decision ever. I ordered a pork chimichanga and he ordered a small cheese stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni added on. Holy cow, the chimichanga was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious (and I am EXTREMELY picky about my Mexican food, esp. chimis!). It was smokin' hot and crispy, and even though the insides were juicy, the crust remained crispy the entire time (and I eat very, very slowly). The pork tasted amazing, but kind of reminded me of sausage in regards to flavor. Texture wise, it was like super tender steak. Delicious. The beans were fantastic, with a perfect portion of cheese melted on top. Next to that was the rice, which was average to me, along with some tomatoes and lettuce with sour cream, all of which looked and tasted super fresh and were very finely cut/diced, just the way I like them. The woman who took our order was very sweet and made sure we understood the wait times, and even asked if we wanted to get all the food at once or one at a time, since the pizza would take longer than the chimi. We opted to get them as they were ready. The boy (I say boy because he looked like an older teenager to me, but he was fluent in English unlike the woman, and answered all of the phone calls, etc.) was also very courteous, and asked us if we would like salsa with my chimi. I said yes, and he was back in less than a minute with a bottle of green and a bottle of (super spicy) red salsa. Both tasted above average - well flavored, which was not overwhelmed by spiciness. He then brought us an extra plate and utensils so that my bf and I could share our chimi. Pizza came just a few minutes later - also smoking hot. Beautiful circle, with loads and loads of cheese inside, a layer of pepperoni on top, and some very tangy pizza sauce at the very top. The boy tells us, "Enjoy the pizza, it was made with lots of love!", in a very genuine yet playful tone. We laugh, and dig in. Throughout the rest of the visit, both the woman and the man ask if we were doing okay, and if they could do anything else for us. When we did need something, like a to-go box, they were prompt and courteous, never once showing any scorn or distaste for us. At checkout, they were easy to work with, and we left happy and bloated. TL;DR : Beautiful and delicious chimichanga dinner, above average deep dish cheese and pepperoni pizza, courteous and respectful employees who genuinely seem to care about their customers and put smiles on their faces. Will go to again, for sure, especially to try their 2.25$ tacos! read more

I first ordered from this place during the start of quarantine and they had a really amazing thin crust pizza. I was excited to order from here again for my birthday but it was all disappointment. The chicken tenders and fries were overcooked and too greasy. The tiramisu cake slice had no espresso, and smelled like pizza sauce or similar ingredients, which makes me think it was sitting in a fridge for a long time next to other ingredients and was not fresh at all. I ordered a plain deep dish pizza at 7:50pm and it arrived at 8:55pm, which is perfectly understandable for deep dish that has a long bake time and for being on a Friday night. However, they made the pizza wrong and added peppers, onions, and mushrooms to it. Upon calling the restaurant, the confirmed it was a mistake on their part, but said I'd have to go through door dash to get it taken care of, and couldn't do anything for me themselves. After going through an extended process with DoorDash, I finally received my re-order at 10:35pm, almost 3 hours after the initial order was placed. There was no sense of urgency with correcting this order that they admitted to being at fault for. I really wanted to love this place again and happily paid the $6 delivery, but I was just disappointed through the end. read more

You can't really sit and eat here but the delivery is fairly quick, they are open late, and I really love their stuffed pizza. I'm very picky about pizza, and I usually don't go for stuffed, but I really like it here. I normally order a stuffed Chicago special. The sauce and crust is very nice. read more

I wanted to take a chance on this place and it paid off. I ordered chicken parmigiana and it was delicious. I also ordered a side of garlic bread and it was perfect. And also ordered were fries. They were steak fries which were crispy but the serving bag was stapled and the moisture from the steam during delivery started to settle. I decided to grub hub my order because I do not like dealing with the girl that answers the phone. When I called to ask where my food was (already 30 minutes late) she told me "you're not the only one ordering, we're very busy tonight". I understand that, but is that a way to respond to a paying customer? Please know that the food is great and the delivery staff is awesome but this girl... is extremely rude and snappy on the phone. What a great person to be taking orders! When I asked her name she said it was Melissa, when I told her the delivery person called her by a different name, she then changed it to Diana. Yet.... That's not the name the driver called her by. Used to be our favorite pizza place. We received a pizza with hardly any sauce on it. We have ordered here hundreds of times in the past. I brought the pizza back to them to show them as they didn't believe me in the phone. They insisted the amount of sauce was correct. I requested a refund . I never been to this Chicago's pizza location because I always thought it was on Elston and it was really dead as it was almost 11:30 at night but the service is fast place was clean we only waited 5 minutes for a slice and it was nice to try someplace new. Great for super late night delivery food on the northside. Lots on the menu .Pizza is pretty good. We found that extra cheese enhances it. Eggplant sandwich is good, wings are decent and they have a really good chicken Cesar and spinach salads. Soups are good too (Italian wedding rocks)...Italian sausage good...just DON'T do the gyros or the Italian Beef. If your doing entrees the POPPY ROMANO WITH CHICKEN is awesome! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! This place has the most disgusting food EVER!!!!! I ordered a burger/w fries from here through EAT24 a few weeks ago. When i received the burger it was cold on top, the bottom was completely soggy and the beef had a rotting smell. I contacted EAT24 to let them know that i had an issue with the food & that i wanted my money back. When they called me back i was told that the restaurant manager told them that since my food had arrived on time they wouldn't give me my money back. The manager also claimed that i had already spoken with them earlier on the phone complaining about not receiving mayo packets & that i had complained to the delivery driver as well. Obviously i got really upset that they would LIE about me contacting them about something SO STUPID as mayo packets & that they would expect anyone to EAT THAT GARBAGE THEY CALL FOOD. I decided to contact them myself by phone directly. When i spoke with the manager and confronted her about the lies she said to EAT24, she claimed that the EAT24 customer service agent made up all those lies. It was around 10 at night sat down with family and there was a drunk dude behind saying dumb stuff nobody told him to stop mayb cuz he was waiting for food then gets up to our table like we knoe the dude it was kool went away then goes again and puts a bag a chips in our table like wtf really. The lady drops a wing in her carry tray kool no problem but then she grabs it from there with her bare hand from tray to my ladies plate.lmao very unsanitary. Makes me wonder wat else dont they drop and put bak on a plate. Not a word from any of them saying sorry for the disturbance with the guy or our food we didnt say nothing paid and left but thas one less customer that will go. I'm all about supporting local business but will defiantly not be ordering from this place again. Called to order a pizza, nothing crazy just a simple pizza. Delivery time quoted at 45 minutes. No problem as this is pretty standard even if you only live four blocks away, which I do. So an hour rolls on by... Getting pretty hungry by now so I call just to make sure there is no issues and the delivery driver has my correct address. The young women was polite and apologized as they apparently had to many deliveries and only one driver on staff. Not really my problem but she assured me that it had left already and was on its way. An hour and 35 minutes later my pizza arrives. It's defiantly not fresh, slightly warm and kind of rubbery. So I called again and to politely bring my problem to the attention of the establishment. A different persons answers, this time a man. I bring him up to speed on the situation and his first reply is... It hasn't been an hour and a half. Me: um... Yes it has. Him: well you ordered at 6 right? Me: actually at 5:55,and it is now shortly after 7:30 correct? Him: well I can give you a free appetizer next time you order I guess. Me: I don't want a appetizer, and I don't really think I should have to pay full price for a cold pizza after an hour and a half wait when I live four blocks away from you. Him: well I can give you a free appetizer. Me: can I speak with your manager or owner? Him: he will be back in ten minutes, I will have him call you.. Abruptly hangs up the phone on me.
