The coleslaw bowl was something. I saw on yelp this Nashville chicken eatery had a bowl with the chicken on top, that set it apart from other chicken places. Sure we've had chicken fries, chicken nachos, and even chicken on cauliflower. But coleslaw sounded different. The ordering experience was fine. Looks like there was training going on but hey everyone needs love customers to train on right? It did take a while to get the food. So we know it's fresh? Keeping an eye out that door dashers didn't take my bowl! When the food finally came they just put it on the counter, they didn't call out the numbers. So don't get lost I your phone or you may miss your window of hit chicken. Restaurant was moderately clean. Bathrooms needed attention. And the fixtures had this, shall we say, odd configuration. I was a little hesitant to wash the grease off my hands in that sink. Would I be back? Maybe, if I'm in that area. But probably wouldn't make a special trip here. The dry slaw wasn't worth going out of my way.

Seen this place on Insta a couple of times. I got the Combo #2 (~$16, which is pretty affordable). The fries were very crispy, even after I got home but the chicken wasn't very crispy. Maybe it's more crispy if I ate in the store but I wouldn't know. Everything was good though.

Me and my family always prefer Chikin Drip for the quality of food and best HALAL chicken in town. But the service was received by the staff @530 Newhall Dr (San Jose Airport) on the night of 4th of July, was definitely disappointing. The slider, tender and fries were all cold and I didn't appreciate the fact that when I told the guy at counter, he gave me new fries but that's all. He ignored the fact that the rest of the order was not made fresh and questioned me whether I was telling him the truth. I let him know that I was not happy with spending money with them at this location and receiving such poor service and was going to reflect my frustration on Yelp, he shrug his shoulders and said "okay. So this is for the crew of that night. If management is going to review this for quality of service.

Everything was well seasoned and their sauce had a nice tanginess to it, but the chicken in the sandwich was ever so slightly on the drier side. I'm not greattt with spice so I got mild, but it wasn't giving any spice at all so I definitely could've leveled up. Nothing to write home about imo, but still a decent spot for spicy halal chicken.

First time I went to Chikin Drip tonight, and I was not let down. There was one big issue, but the food and service were so good, I'm still going to give them 5 stars. Upon entering, I was greeted by a lovely woman who gave me and my wife detailed info regarding the spice levels. The menu reminded me of a few other chicken places I frequent, but tasted better in more ways than one. The restaurant was very clean, and the members of staff were all great. As we ate, we were discussing the food, and wondering if the woman who first greeted us was the owner. She took our order while wearing a purse, and walked out right after, so we assumed she was in a position of authority. About 5 minutes after she left, the most obnoxious song began playing on the speakers at full volume. We could no longer hear each other speak. We assumed the employees were enjoying some music since the owner/manager is gone now. I have nothing against that, they have a tough job and 1 song is no big deal. Then another obnoxious song, followed by another, and another. By the time they played the 5th obnoxious song in the same genre at full volume, we decided to leave. All I can say is that whoever created that playlist may need to explore some other genres of music. Every song sounded like somebody banging on a trash can while under the influence of bath salts or suffering from withdrawals of bath salts. I'm still giving the restaurant 5 stars, but I want the owner to know what's going on behind their back. It seems like the employees do what they want once they're left alone. That's a recipe for disaster and can affect other aspects of your business. It shouldn't be overlooked that they all gave great service, irregardless of the abuse they put me and my wife through with their music.

This place was good but not much to be memorable. I am forsure biased because i like angry chicks better. This place has decent food but not much in terms of flavor. The spices shine through hut besides that, i couldnt really figure out why i would want to come back. That being said, i think people should give this place a try and let me know if i am being too harsh

I have never been to this place before. I just thought I was going be another chicken fast food trying to be like the next.. I will say it's not your average chicken nugget/strip. There was sample parking. The place is big and a lot of seating in the dining room. There's some fun art on the wall. They had a really fun sports car out front with their logo on it. We placed an order and the food was made fairly quickly. My son ordered the combo with a sandwich and a tender medium spice with extra sauce and fries. I wanted to taste it so I ordered a chicken tender with mild spice. My son Mukbang it. The chicken tenders are huge. Both meals the seasoning was red was hardly any more spicy than mine. If he likes spice I'd say go more than medium for sure. I think I'll try hot next time to get a little kick. The french fries were yummy and crunchy and seasoned. My side order of the chicken tender came on a piece of like Texas toast or something like that was delicious. It's a little bit like raising Cane's. However- I'd say it's a little bit better than raising Cane's because it has less batter and more spice. If that's your thing then you'll like this place. We will go back to this place. It was good.

Let's start with a $20 unseasoned chicken sandwich combo is diabolical. Throwing a bunch of cayenne on dry chicken is not how you make hot chicken. Nothing is more frustrating than a restaurant being expensive and completely getting your order wrong and then not having any means of contact. To top things off, they have a bunch of up charges for extra sauce and swaps like mac and cheese for fries. I paid for all of those and yet none of those items were included in my delivery. To make things worse, phone voice mail is full. Has an SMS option that also doesn't work. Lesson learned. buyer beware. $60 for 3 combos and they don't care about their customers.

Located by San Jose Airport, parking is plentiful and easy to find. Seating is also very abundant. The noise level is quiet-average. Combo #4 comes with 2 sliders and fries. Off the bat the fries were so delicious. They were super crispy and flavorful. The sliders were also so yummy too. The buns were crispy without being too dry. The chicken was tender. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, Chikin Drip is a delicious chicken place. The fries are second to none and service is quick.

Yum! If you're craving a hot chicken sandwich, this is a great place. The cashier described the medium spice to be similar to hot cheetos but I think it's a bit spicier. I can eat really spicy and I think medium was the perfect level for me if I don't want to sweat. Their spice also has a bit of sweetness to it which really enhanced the flavor. Also if you add cheese to your sandwich, they don't melt it. There's lots of tables and parking available. Def somewhere I'd come back to.

Plenty of parking in this plaza. Nicely air conditioned inside, except for the bathrooms. Service took a little long to order and to receive food despite the restaurant being almost empty. Both the mild and hot chicken seemed spicier than what I am used to. Flavor was okay, but a little too salty to enjoy. Chicken itself was juicy. Fries were decent. The secret sauce tasted too much of mayo.

A quick place to grab fried chicken! We came for dinner on a Wednesday around 7pm and there was barely anyone there. We got the Combo #1 with 1 slider and the loaded fries with a spicy level of medium. I should've gotten a spicier level. I also wish that the tender fit more of the buns; it was like one long piece and empty areas of the bread so I had to breakup the chicken into separate pieces to fit the bun. The sauce was ok but I personally like Raising Cane's sauce more. The chicken itself was crispy but the flavor was ok. The fries were decent though: lightly seasoned and more potato-to-crispiness ratio. Overall, an ok chicken place. read more

Chikin Drip feels like Dave's Hot Chicken 2.0--same menu style, taste, and even similar decor. However, they do offer a few extras that set them apart, like mac & cheese, loaded fries, and a chicken salad bowl (which I don't think Dave's has). I tried the loaded fries and absolutely loved them! The portion was huge--I couldn't even finish it. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of hot chicken! read more

Fire! I know there's a huge hype for chicken spots that specialize in Nashville hot offerings but this place is legit. Had to take a few breaks because the spice level was kicking. If you're not a fan of the spice, go for mild as the flavor is still there. Plenty of food in the combo (whichever you choose). Giving it 4 stars because the Mac n cheese was basically Kradr with seasoning but the fries were spot on! I'd definitely go back to peruse the menu. read more

I was disappointed by the sauce pricing. When I buy a meal, the sauce costs 50 cents, but when I buy the same sauce separately, they charge $1.50 even though the menu says the sauce is 50 cents. The pricing feels misleading and should be explained more clearly to customers. read more

Have you ever been tempted to try out the viral cinnamon challenge where you try to eat a spoonful of dry cinnamon before inevitably expelling it from your mouth in a fit of coughing while your friends cackle with laughter at your suffering? If so, look no further than Chikin Drip where you can not only participate, but pay for the pleasure! Far from dripping with sauce as the restaurant's name may suggest, the chicken was overcooked, dry, and coated in some kind of spice powder that almost caused me to choke on a number of bites. Don't like the spice powder? Too bad because they put it on everything so you can't get away from it. The tender is spiced, the sandwiched is spiced, even the fries are coated in the same powder leaving you with almost no flavor diversity throughout the meal. The only thing you really have to offset it is a supposed "secret sauce" that looks and tastes suspiciously like the same old slightly-sweet special sauce you can find at every burger restaurant from here to Timbuktu. Pair all that with terribly limited drink options, a chicken slider that barely took up half the bun, and you are left with a place that I won't be coming back to anytime soon. read more

I've been hearing about Chikin Drip for a while from social media advertisements. It used to be a food truck and they found a place to open it. It is located near PayPal Park and San Jose Airport. I am quite impressed that the service is fast here compared to other chicken sandwich places. I like the aesthetic designs of the inside with drawings around it. The food is good too. The fries are crispy and the chicken tastes good too. When ordering a chicken slider, the toppings are similar to a Cole Slaw. Good thing the fork is useful here for that haha read more

I'm going to give this experience 3 stars. While it was really good, there were definitely areas for improvement. They definitely need to have a knife available because the chicken is super super messy, but it is quite tasty. Staff weren't super friendly, so I hesitated about asking if they had "wet wipes." The mac & cheese was so-so, it was barely warm, and tasted like processedcheese ...out of a squeeze pack, and they were out of banana pudding, that was a bummer.! read more

The chicken was oddly sweet. Also, the amount of the spice put on the chicken was way too much. When you bit into the chicken the powder dusted the roof of your mouth and made a paste as you chew. It was not the most pleasant experience. They were busy as hell when we arrived and the food took over 20 minutes to get, no biggie. The cashier was extremely patient and friendly, service only thing going for this place. Would not recommend. read more

It's my first time here at chikin drip at San Jose California. They serve fried breast chicken in different spice levels, the menu is very very simple just choose what combo you like and spice levels, it's more like sliders with the big chunk of chicken with coleslaw and pickles. Service is not bad, order at the counter then they will call your order number and sit inside or outside, ambiance is cool open ceiling concepts a lot of table and lighting is cozy. Kitchen is clean and organize. One more thing they have Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. read more

This was one of my favorite Nashville hot food trucks. They finally got a brick and mortar spot in October. They're still open very late. They have a small menu offering white meat tenders and fries. You can make the tenders into a slider or put them on top of the fries. They have a bright colorful clean decor with a graffiti styled food truck on the wall. I got the loaded fries. They dropped the fries on the grease after I ordered so they were nice and hot. The chicken is well seasoned. There are soooo many hot chicken spots now but this is still one of my favorites when going for tenders. read more

Excellent Chicken tenders! I got combo 3 - 2 tenders, slaw, pickles, fries, and secret sauce. The chicken was medium spice and juicy, but it didn't seem that spicy to me. Big portions and came on a piece of toasted bread. The fries were crispy and very good! The pickles and slaw salad were good. The secret sauce I used to dip into my chicken and fries. Prices were reasonable and the place was very clean! I may need to go up to the hot spice next time! They have seating and outside with umbrellas. Service was super-fast! I think they need more drink options. I enjoyed the food and will be back! read more

Got their slider hot spice and banana pudding. The slider is very flavorful and juicy and their sauce complimented. I got hot expecting the heat to be similar to Dave's hot chicken's hot, but I was wrong. The Hot was painful for me personally. The banana pudding was good as well. It was mainly a custard pudding with some pieces of bananas and a little bit of the wafers. It helped kill down the heat from the slider. Overall a really good chicken sandwich that's not dry and bland. 8.5/10 read more

Doordashed the combo and I was pleasantly surprised!! Normally, the chicken sandwich places here have spice levels that aren't that spicy. I ordered the hot and it was superrr spicy!! Super good spice, a little more than I can even handle, but still delicious. Good seasoned fries and the sauce was delicious as well. Fortunately, a little after we devoured our meals (Gavin barely finished half of his), we were given the discharge approval since he was able to hop/use the walker and use the wheelchair. Different food trucks line up the drop-off area, convenient for staff and visitors to fuel up. It's never fun to be at the hospital. I went there late at night, it's right next to the airport and the soccer stadium. The food was good and the staff are friendly. The food is Halal if that important to you, the place seems pretty new, the employee said it was opened just about a year ago. And before that they operated out of a food truck for a few years. It's spicier than Dave's Hot Chicken, the sauce is good and they give you a decent amount.
