You wouldn't believe how excited I was to find this place in Vegas. They are originally located in Mexico City and opened a location in Vegas!! This place is so delicious we literally ate there every day! The tacos are authentic with a variety of meat and veggie options. They have a salsa bar in front. They have a small seating section in the back with tons of AC. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful with our questions. Solid choice when you're visiting Vegas and looking for a quick bite on the strip.
I know about Tacos El Gordo but it wasn't near us and I didn't want to call a ride down to it. I didn't some research online and Chilangos was the next one that was talked about and it was a 3 minute walk. From the moment you walk near the stall, you can smell it. The tacos were delicious. I think we tried every meat they had to offer. The green sauce was so tasty. The carne asada and el pastor were my favorites. But if you don't eat meat, the mushroom one was also super tasty and flavorful. They only offered limonada and horchata for the agua frescas and both were so good and refreshing. Overall, it's possibly my favorite food on the strip and one of the more affordable options. It was so good, we decided to come back when they opened for an order before we left.
Maybe we came on an off day, but these tacos were unfortunately pretty sad. What originally pulled me in was the hype. I had seen countless TikToks about Chilangos before my Vegas trip and every single time I walked by there was a crowd. When we finally decided to stop by, every table was filled and people were waiting around for seats. We actually spent about five minutes looking for a table after ordering because the place was so packed. The menu looked promising too. They offer different meat options, signature tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and sides. We decided to keep it simple and ordered two Al Pastor tacos ($4.25 each) and one Signature Ribeye Taco ($6.50). The Al Pastor wasn't that great. The meat was sliced thin, but somehow it completely lost that classic Al Pastor flavor. No real smokiness. It wasn't bad, it was just ok. The ribeye taco somehow managed to be even more disappointing. For $6.50, I expected a little more substance. The ribeye was small and tin that it felt like there was barely any meat in the taco. The grilled cheese was minimal and the caramelized onions didn't really add anything. They lacked that sweetness and richness that usually makes grilled onions so good.The steak was dry. The onions needed salt. The sauces barely made an impact. Even after adding salsa and lime, I kept waiting for the flavors to come together and they just never did.
This place was surprisingly so good! It's on a strip with other restaurants and pretty easy to find. There are a few tables and a salsa bar where you help yourself. I think that the workers could be a little more friendly but it does look like there are a lot of young kids working there other than that food was good. I will go back for the food but not the customer service.
I was craving tacos and saw the positive reviews so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Ribeye on flower, the carne asada on corn and the pastor on flour. They were all delicious. I personally preferred the flour tortilla over the corn. If I were to comeback I would order all my tacos on flour. The ribeye was pricey but I had to try it, it was well cooked. The salsas were also delicious, be careful with the hot one. The service was quick and there's seating in the back that's indoor in case you visit during the summer.
The excess of Vegas is often overstimulating. It's not to say the Strip isn't remarkable in its own right, but sometimes you need to come down to reality. Chilangos Tacos did that for me. Yes, it's off the Strip in what seems to be in a touristy area of restaurants, shops, and to-go bars. However, I can confidently report this is far from a tourist trap, these tacos are legit! Another review said these tacos were small and expensive. Girl, respectfully, are you high? Never visit Denver if you think these are small and expensive, haha. These tacos were properly stuffed and appropriately priced for 2026. Pastor, Barbacoa, and Campechano. All delicious and tender in their own right. The salsas had heat but nothing overwhelming. All a good taco needs is a fresh corn tortilla, meat, onion, cilantro, and a little sauce. In theory, these are simple; in execution, they were perfect. If you're staying anywhere near Paris, Caesars, Bellagio, add this to your list of a tucked away gem in the heart of the Strip!
If you're in Vegas and anywhere near the Strip by the LINQ and Bally's, do NOT skip Chilango Tacos. I've been in Vegas for four days, and I love tacos usually I stick to a well-known spot at the far end of the Strip. But I randomly came across this place, and let me tell you... I ended up going back every single day. That says everything. Day one, I got the al pastor tacos - absolutely amazing. The meat was perfectly marinated, super flavorful, and they kept the toppings simple, which I actually love. No overwhelming "build-your-own" chaos - just done right. My friend got the barbacoa taco and was obsessed. Next day, we switched it up quesabirrias (so good, crispy, cheesy, everything you want) and a chorizo taco that had the perfect kick. By the last day, I had to circle back to the barbacoa myself... and wow. Lived up to the hype. Even their chips and salsa? Surprisingly incredible. And here's the kicker it's probably the cheapest food I found on the Strip, and somehow the most flavorful. I hit a few of the nicer sit-down spots while I was here, and honestly... they didn't deliver like this place did. Great food, great energy, fun crowd it just hits.
This place is amazing! Very good authentic tacos and super reasonably priced! I ordered an Al Pastor taco and carne asada quesadilla. The taco was amazing! Lots of delicious meat! I liked the pastor more than the asada, but I had to try it. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. This is definitely a new go-to place for me!
Absolutely outstanding tacos in Vegas. it's located in the outdoor area of the horseshoe in the back. I'll start off by saying our group ate here twice during our Vegas stay. The taco shop reminds me of being in CDMX with a classic look inside. The food is where this place shines the pastor and asada meat are mouthwatering and I recommend getting a couple tacos and a quesadilla. Service is quick and efficient and if you're in the mood for tacos in Vegas, Chilangos is a must try!
I tried this place 3x now-I want to love it-they looks so good on paper-their location is ideal-they are open late-really great hours-so convenient-every time I pass this place I stop-even to just get one taco-that being said-I think their food is mid as heck. So average-I've had Al Pastor tacos-Ribeye tacos-Carne Asada tacos-Cheese griddles steak tacos-QuesoBirria tacos-I've had their elote. Best item is their Ribeye tacos & their cheese griddled steak tacos-those I would for sure order again-rest of em pretty average....QuesoBirria tacos might be one of the worst I've ever had.Elote is pretty bland. All that being said-I will probably go here tomorrow again-it's convenient-it's located a 5 minute walk from my hotel room-it's open until super late-location location location trumps most things in Vegas. So if u find yourself at the Horseshoe casino and feel like a quick taco fix or a late night meal after a night of partying,you could do a lot worse than eating at Chilangos Tacos PS-tacos range from around $4.50 to $6.50-not too bad for Vegas.

Chilangos Tacos is exactly the kind of spot you want when you're looking for good, cheap eats off the Vegas Strip. This place has classic tacos done right. They are simple, flavorful, and totally satisfying after a long day of walking around. On this trip, I tried the nachos. I wish they had a better stuff-to-meat ratio, but everything else was exactly what you expect from a satisfying plate of nachos. The chips were crisp, the toppings were fresh, and all the flavors came together nicely. It hit that comfort-food spot without being too fussy or overpriced. I'd definitely come back and try more off the menu next time I'm in town.
We went to get tacos around 1pm on a Saturday. This place is located outside near horseshoe where dirt dog is located. There was already a small line but it moved quickly. Seating is outside, and we were able to get a table with shade. I got the birria queso tacos. It comes with with 3 tacos and consomé. It was very delicious and my boyfriend got 4 tacos. Carne asada, signature ribeye, campechano and al pastor, his favorite was the carne asada. It tasted charcoal grilled. We also got the limonada and Jamaica. The limonada was alright, but my boyfriend really liked it. The Jamaica was authentic, both drinks were very refreshing. Service was great! Definitely go if you are wanting some bomb tacos.

My favorite tacos in Vegas hands down. Their suadero, pollo, and carne asada are so good. Anytime I'm visiting for a work trip, I go out of my way to stop here! Fast service, solid tacos, love the high tables and AC offered. read more
This place has the best tacos! Located off the strip it made it super easy for my friend to stop by and eat in between our activities. You order at the counter and can sit either on the patio or inside in the AC. The food came out super quick and was delicious. They had a self serve salsa bar that had a red salsa and also an extra spicy green salsa. I tried the carne asada nachos, carne asada quesadilla, carne asada taco and al pastor taco (on different days). My favorite was the carne asada taco. The nachos were good to try but I wouldn't order again. I highly recommend this place and the next time I come to Vegas I will definitely be coming back! read more

Chilango Tacos was such a good find! We tried the carne asada and ribeye tacos, and both were delicious. The tacos are generously sized and loaded with tender, well-seasoned meat, grilled onions, avocado, and flavorful sauces. Everything tasted fresh, and the salsas had the perfect amount of heat not overly spicy, but still a nice kick. We also ordered the horchata, and it was so refreshing. You can really taste the cinnamon, and it wasn't overly sweet it was just right. The service was great as well. Everyone was friendly, and our food came out quickly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot for a quick bite. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice option. I know about Tacos El Gordo but it wasn't near us and I didn't want to call a ride down to it. We were surprised how early a lot of places on the street closed. We picked this place because it was open. I had an item with cheese in it. There was a language barrier so I had trouble finding a mild sauce. I had three packages of sauces in my bag. They were either too strong or I didn't like them. I asked for a cup of water. They would only sell bottles of water. My friend ordered something with pork. She threw up half way through eating her meal. None of us would return. read more

Day 1 in Vegas I spotted this place and it seemed legit. Day 2 went back to try it out, and oh yes, it exceeded my expectations of awesomeness!!! Day 3 returned with friends! The food is authentic and full of flavor. The service is speedy and the team appears to be having fun in the back. I love the hole in the wall charm, almost like a secret place only the cool kids know about. It stays on the list for repeat visits for sure. I'd eat every taco on the menu and you got to add the medium salsa and the hot green sauce, these tacos will change your life! read more
I'm a big fan of Mexican food and have access to many great options living in So Cal. So, this was a place that I was looking forward to trying in Vegas but it was just okay. Maybe 3.5 stars as the quality is there but the flavors just didn't pack a good punch for me? I did opt for flour tortillas on everything since they gave me the option and maybe I should have gotten corn tortillas as they do make fresh corn tortillas from masa (did not know this until after I ordered my food)? The ribeye tacos may have been the best thing I tried. The salsas also didn't hit for me but they are spicy so you'll get a kick. What is odd is that they don't use food trays for dine in orders so I had to make a few trips to get all the food to the back counter where I was able to find seating as they were packed. Small & expensive tacos. Long line to order but it went fairly quickly. However, the wait for getting the food was ridiculously long. For to go orders, onions, cilantro & limes are placed next to the tacos in a box, along with sauce packets. Taste wise, the carne asada tacos were just ok. Next time, I'd rather drive further down the strip to tacos el Gordo or another place. read more
This taco spot is on the strip on the Bazzar Shops in front of Horseshoe. The place is definitely busy. Homemade tortilla. The meat was soft and had good flavor. It comes with 2 different prepackaged salsas, red and green, which are very good and spicy. It also comes with cilantro and onion in the side. The street corn was really good. Late night deliciousness and not too off the beaten path! Got the carne asada on corn tortilla, loaded nachos, elote, and churro. Water and glass bottle cola were reasonably priced. There is a "secret" side area that is air conditioned but it is super loud like you would expect at a Vegas quick eats. read more
I cant believe i've lived here this long and never tried Chilangos Tacos. i was literally walking to Horseshoe, saw it, and randomly stopped by and i'm so glad i did!! i got the weekend-only ribeye taco for $6.50, which honestly isn't bad at all for Strip prices. the onions were packed with flavor, the ribeye was actually scrumptious, and the green sauce was out of this world. would come back again just for the sauce such a solid accidental find and i'd definitely stop by again!! read more

Chilangos tacos are located on the Strip near the Horshoe and Flamingo casinos. After a long time of walking and playing, the tacos were a perfect midnight snack. Chilango refers to a person from Mexico City, and the ambiance makes you feel like you're there. We were lucky to go when it wasn't busy, and ordering was simple. We really liked the flavor of the Suadero, and their salsas were tasty with the right amount of spice. The restaurant is part of an outdoor food hall space, it is just fun to be outside instead of the smoke filled casinos. Check out Chilangos tacos if you need a little fuel to keep walking the Strip. You will enjoy the nice customer service and feel like a Chilango for a moment. read more
This was a good find on the strip! They are comparable to Tacos El Gordo, but better! There is plenty of seating and the service is quick to serve up tacos! All open air seating that allows you to eat and people watch. We tried the pastor and barbacoa tacos. Both meats were well seasoned and cooked perfect. The tortillas were heartly and didn't fall apart. We also tried their nachos. They do give a good portion for the price. Our favorite part of the experience were their salsas. They all you to serve your own, which appreciated. The green Pinche salsa was the hotest and still had a good flavor. The red La Chigona Salsa was tasty and went wellw ith the meat. Chilangos have been opened for a week now. The food was really good! From the variety of tacos to the elote. I see this place doing really well with their location. And if I'm not mistaken this is the main taco spot in the area. Service was quick and you can watch them while they make the tacos for you. We went opening night. The restaurant was extremely busy. The service was fast. Customer service was great. Food was even better. The reason why I gave them three stars is because they told us they close at 2 AM. We left to go get drinks walk the strip a little bit in return returned at 12:45 to a closed restaurant. The workers were still sitting in there so we asked the manager in one of the workers while they closed early. I thought you said you closed at 2 AM and they said oh you know our workers are tired. It's been a really busy night. It was opening but don't worry we opened up tomorrow at 10 AM and we'll close at 2 AM so we said OK? Cool understandable I guess. Next day Friday we went around three in the afternoon to get lunch before a concert that we were attending a tacos again the tacos were extremely extremely good warning. The spicy sauce is very spicy gave me a headache and I love spicy food, but I still recommend since we were running late. I told my boyfriend I wanted to come back after the concert to try to nachos so we left once the concert came back at 1:15a and guess what the restaurant was closed. We were so pissed so I will say if you're going to go, they will be open in the afternoon but if you try to go late at night after being drunk and having a good time wanting some good old nachos or tacos, don't risk it they don't stick to their hours of operations. It drew our attention while walking around and I am so glad it did so. Absolutely amazing tacos I almost cried! They're so full of flavor and their tortillas are so bomb. The service was good, sweet girls in the front. There were lots of spots to sit and enjoy the food. We will be coming again before leaving for sure. read more

Second time coming here and they never disappoint! The food is soo good and made to order. The employees are friendly and the cooks get the food out quick. There's out door seating so the vibes are always your typical Vegas energy!! Bring your own outside alcohol since they don't serve any here!! read more

SMH $50+ for 8 tacos and 2 quesadillas. (And the quesadilla was the size of a taco). We placed our order at the counter and waited for about 30 minutes for our order to be ready. In that time, I observed SO MANY disgusting things happening in the restaurant, I questioned if I even wanted to eat the quesadilla I ordered. First I noticed the man grilling the meat used the SAME gloves to handle RAW meat and proceeded to cut up the cooked meat. Then, (the girl pictured with the black gloves) took out the trash, came back and replaced the horchata, and added ice using her hands all using the SAME pair of gloves! One last thing I noticed was how close one trash can (also pictured) is directly next to the deep fryer!
