630 on a Monday Restaurant was only seating few tables due to shortage of staff and dash orders. We waited 30 minutes for a table for 5 and over an hour for our food. At least 4 tables sat after us received their food before us, even a larger party than ours. It was apparent there was a mix up or forgotten our order. Salads didn't come with dressing on the side as requested and came with the meals, the BBQ sauce on the ribs didn't taste as usual, and the cole slaw tasted spoiled, rest of the food was okay. Took 30 minutes to get the cookie dessert so we asked for it to go then it took an additional 15 minutes to get the scoop of ice cream that goes on top. Manager finally had to get ice cream and apologized. For the few customers the wait staff had, service was poor. read more

The seating is nice, with new tables and chairs. The interior is very modern, with classic wood accents. Lots of modern lighting completes the decor. The prices are normal for Anchorage, and the food portions are big enough to satisfy the Alaskan over eater in all of us! Great experience, and great food! read more

I have been ordering from Chili's as a higher quality fast food alternative for a couple of years now. When they are good, they are great! But that has been rare in the past year. They simply leave out items from my orders, which they have been taping up so you can't really check in your vehicle (and shouldn't have to worry about, quite frankly). As a standard Chili's, there's not much reason to go out of your way for this one but if you're at the mall anyway or want some quick eats, you could do worse (downstairs in the food court, actually.) I have had drinks here a few times and they have a solid bartender (though I don't typically get any fussier than a rye whiskey on the rocks). I don't know her name but she's treated us well every time. Casually conversational but not OVERLY-so. Just enough friendliness is all I need from a bartender and she is great. The food has never been much to write home about (especially in the shadow of next door's Olive Garden) but it'll do. What has happened to Chilis??? Hostess was very confused in seating people on which should have been our first clue. About 15 minutes before we had our server come to our table the first time. By then we all knew what we wanted to order. I had the chicken crispers original style - not so crisp, kind of bland AND I had to ask for the honey mustard it was supposed to come with. My husband had the triple dipper (cheddar bites, sliders and southwestern egg roll) - sliders were still a bit raw in the middle, egg rolls were rubbery, cheddar bites were fine. My daughter had the oldtimer burger - driest burger I have ever tasted. The onion on it was juicier. And the drinks - when you can taste the algae taste in a Coke - time to really clean. My mom & I went in recently, our waitress was so pregnant she was REALLY inconvenienced to have to walk to our table a few times. My food was cold and the lettuce, that I had ordered to not be on it, was wilted and slimy. My mothers food was dry and halfway through we discovered that both of our plates were filthy. Tried sending the food back but it was far too complicated and we had, had enough stress that day. I dont recommend. Its disappointing. read more

Chili's is an excellent restaurant. I had the Smothered Chicken Burrito and a strawberry lemonade. It was good, though a tad on the dry side (a bit of sour cream fixed it nicely). My office has ordered togo from Chili's a couple of times and each time there are issues with the order. This is the first time I've actually written a review. I didn't think to open each container in the togo bag, but I should have. The waitress giving me my order assured me it was all there. Low and behold one complete meal was missing and half of another meal. When I called back to tell them the person that answered pretty much told me that I was lying. The manager got on the phone and said he would make it right. Now the inconvenience of going back to pick up the two things missing still lingers. Also, when you get soup, they are inconsistent in how they serve it to go. This time they actually put the soup toppings in a separate container, but other times they added them to the soup and they were soggy by the time we ate, Also when getting the chips and salsa to go the amount give is inconsistent. This time around we received half the amount of chips we did the other times. The food that was ordered and received was good, but the service was very bad. I also had to wait an extra 20 minutes for the togo order. And when I called in they said it would be 15 minutes. It took well over 30 minutes from the time I ordered to get what I thought was my full order. Disappointed to say the least... read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Service was very slow and place wasn't packed. Ordered chicken and steak fajitas and only got 3 tortillas. I asked for more and never got them. I ended up eating the rest of the fajitas without the tortillas. My wife got the honey chipotle chicken and waffles. The chicken was good, but the waffles were hard and burnt on the bottom. My friend and I generally enjoyed going to Chilis, but the last time we came to this location was the worst experience we have had. It started out fine, we ordered our food and all was well, but then instead of having one waitress check on us, we had 6 different waitresses checking in on is --- apparently this was because our actual waitress had a big table so she asked one person to check on us, but then it seemed like every single waitress was checking on us. My friend and I hadn't seen each other in a while so it got really annoying as we were just trying to have a simple conversation, but we couldn't because of all the interruptions. Fast forward a bit and we decided to order desert from on of the waitresses. It never showed up... we eventually told our actual waitress that we were still waiting and we ordered it from one of the others and she was like oh -- i asked one girl to help out because I had a big table, were like well we have had multiple people stop by to check on us so I dont know who it was, but we never got it. At this point whatever, were over it, we just wanted to chill and hang out for a bit and finish our food and drinks. Then she offered a free dessert - we said no, because we were over it. - they gave my friend a 5 dollar off couple, but not me even though I was part of the desert equation. I found that kind of rude since we had ordered it to share and it didn't show up. We aren't living in the same household so why was I not offered one? Then we were mid conversation and the waitress came and sat the electronic thing down, but didn't say anything -- seemed like she was a bit upset - maybe? Finally we tried to pay on the machine and my payment wasn't going through with my card - we tried to flag someone down and that didn't seem to work for a bit and then the manager came by -- the amount said something like $96 was charged for a $15 bill? Not ideal. I ended up paying in cash and did get the managers contact information in case the payment still was charged. All that being said, super bummed on my experience at this Chilis, there is such a thing as too many waitresses for one table, if you do forget something for the table - maybe consider both people at the table? My wife and I went out to chili's on Diamond street here in Anchorage Alaska. It was busy and they seated us at a table that was very wet instead of drying it off they just seated us. The service was terrible and we ordered our food when it came to the table it was the 1/2 rack ribs (mostly bones) 1 ear of corn and was supposed to have brisket also. When we looked for the brisket it was just a very small amount less than a tea spoon. I orderd the chicken strips they have and they looked and tasted like pork skins the fries were awful and tasteless and my corn on the cob was more like mush on a stick it was bad my husband was also not happy with his meal and the lava cake was also not very good. My girlfriend ordered a Patron Margarita and the container it was served in leaked everywhere. They gave her a small glass filled to the top and she had to sip the drink and then finally received a straw from another waitress. The food was okay but when we were finished with plenty of food still left, our server took the food and dumped it with no ask to whether we wanted to box it up.
