We went there Monday evening after a long day of traveling. The service was okay, took a lot longer than we anticipated. The worst part was as soon I left I was already feeling nauseous. The next day my husband and I woke up with food poisoning. That was are first experience with it and it was horrible. Lasted all day, throwing up, nausea, headaches, and diarrhea. We both ordered the honey chipotle chicken crispers with corn and French fries. I only ate about half my meal and still had it bad. Luckily our toddler did not catch it. I would give this franchise as a whole 0 stars if I could. Not only did the location that closed in Burlington have poor service and an issue with keeping their kitchen clean, but this location seems to be just as disgusting. I waited from 9:30 until 10:00pm until finally giving in and ordering online. Unfortunately their online software did not show something correctly, so my husband went inside the restaurant to confirm the order, and not only was the woman upfront rude and dismissive, but did not confirm the order and claimed she only worked up front, instead of getting someone who could help, she dismissed him away to do something else. I go in myself and we waited 10 minutes to be able to speak with someone, three coworkers later, and they finally are able to answer my question. The only stars I could possibly give this establishment are left of zero. I am actually being very kind and courteous by providing one star. Anyways, I came here with my family last night on 7/2/17 at around 7:45pm. We were very hungry and just wanted to order right away. We walk through the door and wait 5 minutes to be seated. The hostess who greeted us was not friendly at all and gave us attitude right off the bat. We get seated and have to wait 15 minutes along with another family that walked in right in front of us. After waiting, my brother in law got up to look for someone to help us, but couldn't find anyone. We asked the first waiter we saw since we came in and he quickly got defensive and said "I ain't yo waiter!" and we said" Excuse me sir? We have been waiting for the past 15 minutes and have not been served yet, is there anyone here who could help us?" "Like I said I aint yo waiter" "Well can you please find someone?" "Fine!". We walked right out as did the other family that arrived with us. They actually waited longer than us since we were already out on the parking lot when they came out. Honestly worst service ever. Do not recommend. We had a two year old with us who was out way past his bedtime and was very hungry. Who in the world keeps kids hungry? Dont come here people. Please. The restaurant is open while under renovation. We entered at dinner time and waited for some time, probably a good five minutes, before the hostess finally walk out from the back. Our server came and took our order, not writing anything down, then came back not once, but twice to confirm our appetizer and dinner order. The queso was very spicy and salty but was barely warm. The chips were okay, except half the basket was crumbs. Not plates for the queso and chips so we ate off our napkins, dripping cheese all over the place. Entrees were no better. Everything taste so salty. Should have turned around and walked out when no one was there to greet us. read more

Ok so my girlfriend and I went in for the 2 for $20 special. I know how good can it for $20. Well its true you get what you pay for. The taste of the food was fine and what I expected for $20 my problems were the service wasn't very good, the table was dirty and sticky, and the food was cold. We stopped at Chili's on 131 River Road, Andover, MA on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 after a long day at Canobie Lake Park. The service wasn't up to par and despite the fact that there were 9 of us only 1 person did not receive his meal because they put the wrong dressing on the salad he ordered. We sent it back and by the time a new salad was ready everyone else finished their meals and we asked for it to go. Everyone shared a bit of their meal with the person without his meal. They didn't charge us for the meal, but the way it was handled was poor! Never will eat there again or another Chili's. read more

You gotta be kidding me. Haven't been to a Chillis in probably 5 years or more. Gave this a try. It looked clean and the menu looked good but that's where it ended. We gave it a try for lunch, and the ribs were cold and burnt. I figured it was lunch so we would try it again. BAD IDEA. I brought my young daughter and wife and IT WAS LIKE WAITING FOR A CONNECTING FLIGHT that never gets to the gate! Sat 15 min in booth b4 we were even approached ( was not busy at all btw ). We weather for a kids menu...After taking the drink order....meanwhile Forest Gump went to Vietnam, got a purple heart ,came home, watched Jenny die and buried her and we STILL didn't get our drinks!! (In the meantime I had to go to the hostess stand, find a kids menu and a crayon. Finally when we did they were wrong. I then had to go the bar to order correct drinks myself. ( non alcoholic lol ). Food came about 20 -25 min after and the food was cooked improperly. I wish I could have gone back in time and went to the 99. Bottom line took almost 2 hours trying to eat. We stayed at Marriot Courtyard, 2-3 minutes from this chili's. We used to have dinners at other Chili's and it is generally good. But not for this one, it is really a bad experience. We went in and the front desk led us to a table and we began to read the menu. After 5-10 minutes, another family took a table behind us and then a waitress severed them. NO ONE came to our table. My friend's son went to a waiter and told him about it but still no one came to our table. It was already 15 - 20 minutes. I even went to the front desk and told the girl that no one was serving us. The girl said she would let them know. The waitresses passed us like we were not there at all. So we decided not not have dinner there. Is it because we are not white? I have been dining at Chili's forever at the Andover location and I went there tonight to celebrate my friends 21st birthday with 4 friends and the waitress we had was the worst waitress I have ever had wait on us. She was rude and kept disappearing. She seemed like she couldn't even be bothered with us. It took a very long time to get our food and when we wanted to order dessert, we had to ask another waitress to find our waitress. When we got our bill we learned that she had overcharged us for a meal and when asked to correct it she fixed it and said "I fixed your bill" and mumbled under her breath "even though it was only 99 cents". I know its not a significant amount but it was her error and she shouldn't be rude to the customer. It will be the last time I dine at the Andover location. read more

We stopped here for a quick pre-wedding meal, as this was the closest to the hotel. What can you say? It's a Chili's franchise -- if you've ever been to one, you know what they're all like. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I can't even begin to tell you how this place completely ruined my trip and opinion of Massachusetts. My friend and I stayed at the hotel next door and it was our first time ever in Massachusetts. We were going to a concert that night and we're delighted to see a chilis right next door. We planned on having a nice dinner and have a few drinks before going to the show and having a good time. However this chilis ruined my entire night. My friend and I got the 2 for $35 deal and upgraded the margaritas to the patron ones. We ordered the cheese fries for our appetizer. With just eating the fries and having one drink we both immediately felt sick. I have honestly never felt this way from eating out before. I was extremely hot, my stomach felt 4 times bigger, I couldn't breathe and felt like I was going to be sick. My friend also felt the same way at the same time. Our entrees came out and we barely ate any of it due to how awful we felt. After we left we were miserable and almost threw up. We had to even lie down in the car because we couldn't move from the pain we were in. This experience ruined our concert that night and our whole entire trip. Biggest waste of money and most disappointing night of my life. Thank you chilis for destroying my time in Massachusetts. This location needs to be shut down, only go here if you want to feel disgustingly awful and sick. read more

I went to this restaurant with my wife a few times as we had tired of the 99. Those first few visits were good. The third time we went was beyond offensive. We were sitting at the bar and there seemed to quite a bit of chatter coming from the waitress station. One of the waitresses was going on about a relatives illness and how frustrated she was with her family. She then started dropping F-Bombs in full hearing view of all people at the Bar. I went over and confronted her and she acted as if I was out of line. They had me but then they lost me for good. read more

The only reason I am even giving them 2 stars is for the fact that I know the food is good. Living in Andover, i was hoping to find a nice place with awesome ribs (as they always are at chilis) close to home. Came in at 6:30 not busy, not crowded at all. Were seated immediately by a very friendly host and it seemed like any other, awesome chilis experience. We sat, figured out drinks and what we wanted for food (after 15 years combined serving and bartending my girlfriend and I like to be fast and decisive). We waited and talked for a few minutes, watching all the servers walk by us, look at us, and ignore us. At 6:45, i started getting agitated by the fact we hadn't even be greeted by out server yet. Another 15 minutes rolls by and we called it quits. We drove 7 minutes up to the chilis in salem nh. There are Over double the amount of people here, and yet in 3 minutes we have cold beers, and our food order in. Don't bother at the Andover chilis, take the 10 minutes to go to salem, wilmington or reading. Youll save a lot of time and aggravation. read more

I've been to Chili's all across the US, but never have I experience service so low and awful. Went here last night after driving for 4 hrs with 2 toddlers in the car. Normally we would just order room service, however, I've come to like going to Chili's in TX. At our Chili's we have a kiosk at the table where the kids can play a game. Since no one was sitting around us, I ask the waitress if I can use the other Kiosk since the kids were fighting over one. She said no. When finally someone was seated next to us, I ask him if I can use his, he said sure. Kids started using the kiosk, a burly, big guy came from the back and started speaking loudly saying we can't have it and should not have taken it. He did not ask us a question, just started yelling in a very aggressive manner as if he was going to beat up my husband in front of our babies. I told him the other person gave it to us, he disregard what I was saying and just kept on going as if we stole the kiosk. I did not come to Chili's to be mistreated, harassed or beat up on in front of my kids. I did not ask to be embarrassed in front of everyone in the restaurant who was looking. After that, needless to say, I did not want to eat and had indigestion. The manager came over and apologize for the incident. No apologies from the jerk who carried out the incident. My phone died so I could not pull up my emailed Chili's coupon for the free kids meal. Seriously, if the manager cared at all, he would have given it to us anyway, nope not here. We ordered dessert to go, a cheesecake. Needless to say, the spoon cannot go thru the cake in the hotel room. SO, yes, please go to this location if you would like to be harassed and treated like a thief. I am so embarrassed by this incident. read more
