As usual this place hasn't changed. Placed an online order and received a text my food was ready and to check in. I show up about 10 minutes after the text saying order is ready. Pull up to a To-Go spot check in and wait another 10 minutes. Nobody brings my food outside. I go in and stand around for a few minutes and see about a dozen workers behind the counter looking confused. Girl ask for my name and grabs my bag that's probably been there for about 30 min. Then the icing on the cake, I get home and they forgot one of my orders. Very sad. This place needs QA. Unfortunately the other night after church I took my grandkids to chilies, this lady did not know they were with me, she Proceeded to say " that's all we need is more " N" words, I myself have PTSD and unable to wear a mask, and I had been up very early that day to fix the air conditioner at the old folks home so I was very tiered, I ignored her comment because sometimes it better to ignore it, but then she yelled at me to move my " boys" away from her baby, the way she said BOYS was obvious another slur, so I said fine, and after few minutes I got my table and we were just discussing racism at church , so I approached the man and said I was sorry your mother is racist, but then he got mad because it was his wife not his mom, so I then apologized again, but she, the wife , was so drunk she did not know who I was and had to ask him asked him who I was. I went on yelling at me but what can I do, he was handicapped, I assume he was crippled by a beat down he got from his wife running her mouth. So we continued and try to enjoy our dinner. Then it was time for this lady and her family to leave, she stumbled over to the car, everyone is looking at here at this point because she is way to drunk to drive and as she sitting in the driver seen she started honking the horn yelling and screaming for her husband to grab her purse and the baby, so as everyone is listening to her blow the horn and screaming for her husband to get his " dumb ass" these are her words she is using now, at that point after 10 minutes,finally one of the waiters walked over and explain to her that she was in the wrong car, so she staggers over to her car and drove her family home, my African children are a threat to her family, but drunk driving home is ok. Now my wife that is African, but not my grandkids blood grandmother is very very mad! She was actually Organizing a peaceful BLM protest, very peaceful!! And she is very interested in what company would hire such a racist person and if anyone can help, there is absolutely no room for racism! 9/8/18 9pm I'm so disgusted! The BF wanted to try something in the neighborhood so we stopped here. We walked in and sat down, walls at our booth were dirty. Went in with the family for a Father's Day lunch... place was busy...but not packed. I'd say this is pretty tasty, although very very very buttery. 4 sticks per serving. Grilled shrimp tacos - $10.47. Grilled shrimp with chili-lime sauce, cilantro seasoned cabbage, avocado slice, on flour tortilla served with rice and beans. Sounds pretty good, but it was....no. I think it could have been good with me if it weren't for that chili-lime sauce. It was...strangely sweet. A very sweet glaze. I don't approve of it at all. The rice was meh but with beans, it becomes bearable. The beans were probably the best part of that plate and that's not saying much. Chili - my dad didn't like it. I tasted it. I didn't like it. It didn't taste too savory and something about the seasoning was off. They added a lot of...lime or something because it tasted sour. It just wasn't good. Molten Lava Cake - this cake saved the meal because it was good. You can't really go wrong with warm cake with cold vanilla ice cream. My only criticism about this dessert is that it wasn't warmed up enough because the 'lava' was not flowing at all. It was a hockey puck of chocolate within the cake. I will never go to this Chili's establishment ever again. First, the host said that it will be a 15 minute wait which was 45 minutes. She told us to wait outside and we noticed other WHITE customers showing up after us with more than 3 people and getting a table. It was only me and my boyfriend so I was confused why other bigger parties are going before us. The host kept saying "your table is being wiped". I was extremely upset that I wasted 45 minutes. The food is usually great, no matter what I get. I usually go here for lunch. They have an excellent lunch deal: I got half a grilled sandwich, fries, and a salad that filled me up for $6. It was fantastic! I've come here on occasion for dinner. Sometimes the food is a little salty, a little greasy. Not horrible, however. I usually order the same stuff 'cause I find that some of the items taste the same because of the seasoning(s) they use. Salad wise, the buffalo chicken salad is really good. I am not a fan of the Cajun chicken alfredo, but my mom really likes it and orders it every time. They have a small menu for happy hour and will give you free chips and salsa if you're sitting in the bar. Starting with 0 stars due to bad management. Red flag sign when multiple guess have waited and left before they even get seated. Manager has the waitresses also performing hostess. Dining area is so filthy a table next to me hasn't been cleaned since I walked in to checkin with hostess for a seat. This was at 2pm waited and 10 minutes to put my name down. I'm usually apprehensive about this because I've never received fast, friendly, efficient service in self-seating/bar area. The manager & Courtney, our server were super friendly & patient. Courtney had a friendly manner & we had a bit of trouble with the machine to pay, and the manager came out & said hello and helped us. Alright Chili's, stepped up your game I see. It had been a while since my last visit to this chain and it underwent a serious revamping. The drink menu was impressive. I LOVE margaritas and there was one for every mood. I wanted original so I got the presidente. It comes in a shaker which filled my glass about three times. At $9 a pop, I thought this was a pretty good deal. My second drink was a berry margarita. Good flavor though a little too sweet- it doesnt come in a shaker but it does come in a much bigger glass. For a meal, I had their tacos. Per the description, it came with fresh salsa, cheese, braised chicken. All the ingredients were there but the flavor was only between okay and good. The fajitas at the table next to me looked much better. Next time. I still give this place 4 stars bc the general ambiance, server, and drinks provided me with a good time. Something has gone wrong over time there. We sat for 15 minutes even though we were told 5 minutes' wait. We sat another 15 minutes at a table before going to see the scruffy 'host'. Last time at this restaurant I talked about an amazing manager, but I did mention Sabrina the bartender but did not say anything about her. My fault. I've been coming here for years and Sabrina is probably the reason. we all know that Chili's food is standard but not great. Sabrina brings it to a level that makes me want to return. If you are coming in the afternoon skip the dining room and go to the bar and get an A+ dining experience.
