    Ancho Salmon
    Lynne P.

Ordered the ancho salmon to go. It was raw. I sent the photo along with the complaint to Chili's. I received a )10 gift card . Woo hoo. That won't cover the cost of what I paid for the salmon which was fed to the dog. Applebees is just down the road and they have salmon that is good and is even cooked

I have been numerous times and have never written a review. This is on Dinner and Breakfast: I have considered it my "hidden gem" but after tonight's meal I simply MUST share with everyone! They had a special Valentine's Day menu. It was to DIE for. Wasabi whipped potatoes, goat cheese and spinach tart, vegetable wellington, dark chocolate frangelico cups, and so much more. I had a bite of it all from my table. We all cleared our plates and I told the chef to put the potatoes and wellington on the regular menu. Typically they have wonderful specials and are always worth going for. I have never had a bad meal there. I usually end up with a pasta or seafood dish- they are always so unique and flavorful. Dishes range from traditional Italian, to Indian, to Irish, to French, even Thai and typical American with a twist. The hamburgers are huge and my family loves them (I do not eat meat- only seafood), the steak is always my fathers favorite (very juicy), and its hard to mess up a Caesar salad but they do it perfectly there! I usually get it with shrimp, salmon, or calamari. Desserts are good, we always go for the chocolate lava cake : ) Specialty drink list in Euro Pub, snack at bar, and they carry Magners Cider! Moderately priced, Jazz music on Thursdays in the Euro Pub! Attire ranges from casual to dressy, it is a hotel so guests and locals are always milling about. Service is top of the line for this area. Very professional but easy going and pleasant to interact with. Breakfast- for $10 you get a delicious buffet. Bacon, Sausage, pancakes, french toast, oatmeal, pastries, and eggs to order and an omlette station. Lots of other things as well. Sometimes they have extras out like quiche or fresh bread. Wonderful and def worth the $10- skip the Dennys (which is next door) and try this place. WORTH IT! Open 6 am to 10 am (11am on weekends) 5 to 9pm (maybe 10 pm on weekends?) for Dinner

But if all your kids want to do is swim in the hotel pool and all you want to do is have a glass of wine and take the path of least resistance- you're going to get a reasonably priced, thoughtfully prepared dinner here. We had a few items off the kids' menus and the chicken fingers were better than the usual. Salads were generous and fresh, burger was delicious. Service was super friendly and prompt. I always try to dine local when I can, but this hotel restaurant was just the ticket the night we dined.

There were two hosts to greet me upon arrival. The space can be a little tricky to find if you've never been before.. if facing restaurant from the street you need to go to the right of it in a little alley way like spot and door is on your left in that space. The ambiance is upbeat and medium loud. Medium to dim lit with 7 or so spots at the bar and then tables near window or in dining room. There are wine, beer, and cocktail options. I had a blackberry cocktail with egg white, blackberry compote and gin. It was very good. Not too sweet or sour and light and fresh. The customers varied from older couples to dad and their kid to people in their early to mid 30's.

When traveling for work, I try to get food that I would cook for myself at home and this was that kind of meal. The one "odd" thing was the insane amount of salt on their fries. They were fried perfectly, shoe string like, but I had to take my fingers and dust off the salt. I love salt! But they were WAY over done. Otherwise this is a nice spot. I will come back next time I'm in town.

I went with the half-pound steak burger, and it was okay, but not juicy at all. Perhaps I should have gone with something more in their wheelhouse like, um, steak. I selected seasoned fries because they showed no picture of them and maybe I envisioned something a bit crusty like I have gotten elsewhere. But they were literally seasoned fries, just fries sprinkled with spices of some sort. Neither the fries or the burger was what I would call hot. My companions were happy with their selections, one with a salad and the other a soup and salad duo. So like I say, I will try something else next time. I mean, I cooked myself a better burger a few days later on the grill, and that ain't right! But to end on a better note, the watermelon lemonade was delish. Refill, please! The service was great, though after we mentioned it was our anniversary, they came out and sang happy birthday to another table. What, no anniversary song in their repertoire? Oh well.

We went for dinner because two people in our party were vegan and this menu had vegan options which we appreciate so much. I don't believe it's her fault as there is no kitchen in this establishment, but the food was bad. I suspect the food would be great if she had what she needed to do her job, because the menu was really interesting. It's a local place with nice local people and we always try to support those businesses when we visit a town. But you cannot cook meals using one hot plate and an air fryer, or store restaurant grade food in a college refrigerator for extended periods. Go for the beer, but don't eat the food until this team can upgrade to keep everyone safe.
