We went to the Stroudsburg location for our date night. I would have been the 2nd time for me to go to this location and the 1st time for my husband. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait which we were alright with waiting however I seen empty sits at the bar so we were going to sit at the bar. When we told the host the bartender walked by and asked if he was alright. I tried to explain to the host that I work in the restaurant busy and I understand we would have to wait for him to get to us and we would have been fine with waiting however he told the host NO. So at that point we left. I'm sorry buy you don't so NO in front of the customers. It would have been better to say yes can you get them a drink while they wait. But the male bartender decided to say NO and walked away which left the host to stand there not knowing what to say. Some customers understand that restare still understaffed but that behavior from the bartender was rude and unprofessional. read more

Having not eaten ate Chili's for a while my wife and I decided to go for salads at the Chili's on 611 near Stroudsburg, PA. I realize it is Labor Day but this restaurant was severely understaffed. We order our two signature salads and asked for the dressing on the side. Our waitress not only forgot the dressing but she spent the next 20 mins taking new orders apologizing for not bringing the dressing. By the time we got it the chicken was cold. I know this sounds like a minor detail but if I'm going to pay $11 for a sale I should get at least what I ordered. Disappointing. Done with Chili's.... again. read more

Maybe it's bc I haven't had chilis in a while, or the food here is really damm good! I'll go with the foos being good. We ordered the triple dipper and bottomless chips. Both were spot on and are big portions. I had the boneless buffalo chicken salad and i forgot what everyone else had, but they all enjoyed their meals. My only complaint was they loaded up the salad with dressing. Other than that, nice clean, friendly chili's with good food. read more

Horrible experience while visiting in PA. Walked in last night and saw three employees at the front talking. They all ignored us for a few minutes before one of the staff who walked away came back and ask us if we would like to sit. The table they put us was dirty with visible areas with grease. This service has gone downhill since they remodeled. The menu got much smaller than it use to be . The tortillas were always free when this place opened now they charge 3 bucks for it . Had lunch Saturday afternoon, around 3. We had joe as our server. He took a little bit to initially greet us, which is fine. However, he didn't take the drink order or ask about an appetizer. Instead, he came back several minutes later to take the whole order. I found this to just be laziness. Especially once I saw that was how he handled every table he had. (Two other tables were sat in his section during our time there) We ordered our drinks, soups and entrees. Our drinks arrived and someone else brought out our soups, food runner or host, not sure. The soups were luke warm, not even remotely hot. Joe didn't check in, see how it was, or if we needed anything. If he did, I would have simply asked for it to be heated up. We didn't see him again until our entrees came out, including pre bussing the table. The entrees were great. Chicken enchiladas are always outstanding.)Although again, he never came back to check. He offered me a box, which I accepted, and then waited for, after watching him walk by twice empty handed. Overall, it wasn't terrible. We never tip less than 20%, usually 25-30%. Took 45 minutes after getting seated at the table to even get our drinks. Once the drinks got there they then took our order, then 45 minutes later we get our food. Didn't see our waiter for 45 minutes while waiting for food, so we all had empty drinks for 45 minutes. The food finally comes out and most of it was cold and dried out. So unorganized and inefficient. Definitely a lack of managerial leadership and oversight over employees and any sense of customer service. Jeremy was a horrendous server. He was cocky and very inattentive, disappearing for 45 minutes at a time. Manager came out after we asked for him when our checks came. He was nice and accommodating. I am giving this Chili's location 2 stars because of their service. The food is fine here, it's Chili's so it's like any other Chili's chain you would go to. However, I have done their "Carside to go" about 3 times and I keep telling myself I'd give them another chance and I'm always disappointed. I will place my order, let's say for example, at 4:45pm. It says my pick up time is 5:10pm. I even sometimes give them extra time and I do not show up until 5:15pm. I am still in my car, in the parking lot waiting for someone to come out at 5:30pm! How are you going to say the order pick up is ready at 5:10pm and then still have your customer waiting 20 minutes later?? Or at least send someone out to say it will be a little bit longer. They just have you sitting there in the car waiting without even acknowledging you in the parking lot. One time I even had to go in because I arrived at 5:10pm and was still waiting in the parking lot at 5:45pm. I went in to ask where my food was and it still was not even ready when I had placed the order at 4:40pm. I think they just forgot or did not look at their to go orders, honestly. It is ridiculous. The restaurant was empty when I went in so there is no excuse, unless they are understaffed and if that is the reason - then hire more staff. Like I said, food is fine - it's average for Chili's. THE ONE AND ONLY REASON WAS FOR THE COOKIE SKILLET BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY!!! Also the service was poor, with the entre coming before the salads. I find that this location is pretty inconsistent. The burgers and fries are always great but some of the other dishes are either amazing or horrible. We stopped in for a late dinner. We seated at a booth next to the bar, which was OK since Thursday Night Football was starting. We ordered the 2 for $20. The chips and guacamole for appetizer. I love Chili's but this location was very disappointing. 6pm on a Sunday. Food order took way too long. My food was over cooked. Cheese was hard. Son's burger was extremely greasy. 2 empty appetizer and four drinking glasses as well as all garbage sat on the table for the entire meal nothing was ever taken off. Long time between waitress visits. Unhappy to find out this Location does not participate in rewards program. Even the bathrooms were horrible. Dirty, non working door latches. Motion sensor sinks don't want to work and absolutely no water pressure. Barely a trickle. Motion sensor towels also not working. I won't revisit this location. read more

Saturday afternoon must be a slow time of the day for this place. After being seated, we needed get the manager to get us a server. Then after ordering drinks, we had to wait for the bartender serve several tables before preparing our drinks. At least the food was served at a reasonable time and good. Not a fan of the chain " happy hour " restaurants...You know...Fridays ,Applebees, Chili's, you get the picture...I would never choose one. Stopped with a group of 40....yes 40... we called ahead, we were 30 min late..but they were very accommodating, given the time and location of this restaurant. My Chili was warm, not hot and then ordered potatoe soup, ice cold.. You think if they call the place Chili's, this would be a signature dish and the portion size was very small...I ordered a bowl...waiter and waitresses were polite and at tentative and if you grabbed on going by with an issue, you didn't get the brush off..I'll get your server.. read more

Last nite I had dinner by myself at Chili's in Bartonsville, PA. My server was Kira, I hope I spelled her name correctly. She was an extremely good server, very attentive, friendly and helpful! I am in the restaurant business myself and do not get the opportunity often to go out and eat so when I do I look forward to it. She made sure my dining experience was on point! The food was absolutely awesome. My steak was prepared perfect, which is very important to me! The only suggestion I have, is maybe make the soup hotter, but then again I love HOT soup! For one, I hate tabasco sauce, and don't consider it hot sauce (it's chili sauce). And secondly, how could you be a Mexican restaurant and not only have no selection of hot sauces, but no hot sauce at all (except tabasco)? The food and drinks are overpriced, which is par for the course with these big chain restaurants. Truthfully, I only went because someone I went with had a coupon for a free meal. If I could give no stars I would , im going to start off with I'm a regular customer , and I really do enjoy going to chili's , but my experience yesterday was just unacceptable. I get it was busy kinda but there was no reason as to why we were sat at a table and we didn't get greeted , at all and after 15 minutes a server named Jessica (sweet lady) came over and asked if we were being served and we said no , so she took our drink orders , it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks and I get it she had her own tables to wait on , so I don't blame her at all. Then she takes our order , we got the 2 for $25 deal , so it took for ever for us to get our salads, and 2 minutes after our salads came we got our entrees , and I ordered a street corn it finally came out with my entree, and it was dry and old , my server came over and even told me my corn was sitting there for a while so she got me a new one and it was no better than the first one I had , and to top it off the manager knew what was going on because he kept looking at my table but HE DID NOT come over to check on my table or apologize for us being sat with no server. Will I be coming back most likely not , I've worked for busier restaurants (ex: rainforest cafe at downtown Disney in Orlando FL ) and I've never treated any of my tables the way I got treated.
