PLEASE! Do NOT eat here! My husband and I both had food poisoning from the ground beef. He had a burger and I had 2 sliders out of an order of 4. Luckily we have 2 bathrooms since we were both attacked by explosive diarrhea at the same time 4 hours later, followed by vomiting throughout the night. I've never had nastier, greasier food, nor gotten so sick from a restaurant. This place should be closed down. How is the food being stored anyway: at room temperature and sitting on the floor? It's seriously a real health hazard and is a total embarrassment to both the restaurant chain and the Poconos. I only give it 1star with a protest since I can't post (WARN) without a star. Being from out of the area I can tell you dining choices in this area are few and far between. We visited this Chili's on a Friday night around 8:30pm or so. We did not call ahead but wanted to get take out. Good thing too, because there wasn't a parking space to be found here. I think everyone in this entire town was at Chili's that night. Thankfully we were able to use the to-go parking because if not we would have left. Several other vehicles were making multiple circles around the restaurant waiting for someone to leave. For a Chili's. I don't get the mentality but....again this town really doesn't have much to offer. Inside the to go area was completely deserted. I had to yell back to the kitchen to get someones attention. Than they had to get someone from the bar to find a menu. Not the most organized bunch. The waiting area was dirty, as were the counters behind. Our order did seem to take a long time but considering how busy they were it was to be expected. I inquired about the 10% discount offered because of our hotel stay, only to be rung out without it. However she did get a manager even after I told her not to and he did insist on adjusting the bill. One thing I appreciated was that the cashier opened each box and went over our orders before bagging them up. Good thing too because they were missing some sauces. We had to ask for utensils as our hotel didn't supply any. Had we not asked we would not have gotten any because they were not offered and they had to locate some. Our meals were typical Chili's - nothing to brag about. The fried pickles appetizer were really good but also really small and the breading was coming off. It was the only item worth mentioning. We were hungry, it was late, and our meals filled that void. Nothing more, nothing less. read more

What a absolute joke of a establishment. Ordered pick up from them over a month ago to find out when I got home the whole order was completely wrong. So I called and explained that nothing on the order was correct and they send they would refund me. Fast forward to right now and after half a dozen back and forth phone calls I am yet to receive my money. The GM named Amy refuses to return my calls after she said she would remedy the situation 2 separate times. She should be terminated for lying to customers and the inability to do her job.Paying for a good and not receiving it is considered theft. Food was very good but the service was horrible from our waitress. After our order she talked to us once throughout the meal and surrounding servers picked up her slack. Under tremendous duress for Cinco de Mayo, our Chili's worked hrad, kept communication with us and handled a madhouse of people coming to pick up orders. The wait was long because the website time frame said 20 minutes, but itas more like an hour. During this time people have to have patience. Chilis food is always great and we give you a lot of credit for hanging in there during a ridiculously busy time - Thank You to the "18 year old girl" (she was working so hard, and during the call when we called for status she said "I'm only 18 years old" - we thought that was cute - God Bless her) and to the staff and management who really ame through during a tough time. read more

I order triple combo fajitas. You get chicken steak and shrimp for $19. Great deal but you only get 4 shells to wrap and thants not enough. Its also made with cilantro lime butter and thats all you taste. The steak was over cooked and very chewy.the chili is your normall chain chili not bad but not great. my. bf and i had a late dinner here .Got it to go..I got the salmon from the low calorie menu was quite a big portion i couldnt believe it was low calorie very yummy and it came with rice and broccoli. This is one of my fave chain locations. I used to not be a fan of chili's but than they revised their menu! The tropical margarita is AMAZING and HUGE! Chips and skillet queso are my favorite appetizer and a must try for everyone. Most of their entrees are delicious! My husband and I frequently go for a quick week night dinner date. I am a regional manager for a paper distribution company. I came here for a business meeting last week because I had luck before with another wealthy major potential client who I assumed only dined in the finest of culinary establishments. He was very impressed with my mutual appreciation of the most suburb mainstream American dishes. Of course I would bring this client as well, after all, he was raised in Ohio, where the rich culture refined his pallet for only a menu that can only be found through out the vast majority of the American cuisine. When I arrived at the same comforting establishment that had hosted so many wonderful occasions. Countless employee appreciation ceremonies, annual events I hosted in honor of our employees most unique and mentionable traits and attributes. A ceremony every employee looked feverishly forward to every year. A stolen kiss from a woman who challenged me who, wanted to change me but like Applebee's, I'll never change. All the dinners alone, just me and the exceptionally attentive staff, every single Thursday night for 8 years. We know each other by name who work so tirelessly that they are always too busy to even answer a phone call. This would surely be another successfully completed chapter in the full life of a beloved man with a lot of friends who care deeply about him. When the worldly Midwesterner arrived at the table, I immediately ordered margaritas, a refreshment enjoyed throughout the exotic land of Mexico and most participating Chili's locations. Before he could say a word, I had read his mind and ordered the Big Mouth Bites and loaded potato skins. His surprised look of shock had said it all: he had no idea a young, Scranton paper boy could possess such fine tastes. This suave Pennsylvania paper pusher is the very pinnacle of class and charisma. My client cleared his throat, and finally spoke: "This is not what I expected. Your office would've been adequate enough. Also, I would rather have a water if that's fine." That's when I knew I had hooked him, if he loosened his will with even the slightest amount of strong drink, he would throw cash my way until I begged him to stop. As we waited for our drinks to arrive, he made some excuse about a drinking problem, hasn't touched the stuff in nearly a year. It nearly destroyed his life but I had figured out his slick strategy. I ordered, what else? The baby back ribs, he had a small chef salad, saying, "It's lunch time, I'm not ordering a large meal." Obviously, politely going for something he believed a reasonable price in this diner of decadence, I had already made it clear, repeatedly, that I would cover the bill. I had insider knowledge of the temporary technical problems for the past 2 years with the karaoke machine and also, Bryce, the new day manager wasn't a fan of the machine, citing, I was rarely used and they needed room to put up more street signs and taxidermy with sunglasses. I don't remember much after halfway through my meal as usual, I was lulled into a dreamy mid day slumber courtesy of Chili's and Mexican libation. After a brief post- power lunch sweat spell in my car, i came to the conclusion that I had sealed the deal and It was so smooth, I hadn't even noticed, or recalled exactly how it ended, it was all such a delicious blur. Waited an abnormal Amount of time for beverages, 2 beers and a mixed drink. The mixed drink was a double as it was a special, don't waste your $, it DEFINITELY was not a double shot!! Either under poured or the liquor is watered down! When the food arrived the waitress took our remaining appetizer without our consent!!! She compensated by giving us another full serving to take with us. The steak meal ordered was to be med. rare, it was RARE! One meal was to have a side of sauce, it was not served this way and we had to wait another 5 minutes for this. The manager did come to our table to speak to us but that is all he did until we were leaving, having already paid, and one of our party addressed him again stressing the lack of quality service and inadequate staff. Came to Chili's for my dad birthday. There was 7 of us and it was a slow Thursday night, they were not busy. They first tried to a stuff us in a small corner booth meant for 4 in the bar area. I said there's no way we're sitting here. Then they combined 2 small tables also in the bar area which was still too small. I asked for the larger tables in the dining area. They said no because the waitress in that area has too many tables....here's an idea....set your customers where they are comfortable not where your wait staff has to walk the least. Then waited 20 min for chips and salsa. We asked if they forgot and the waitress seemed annoyed at us. Our meals came out in shifts over a 5-7 min range. Food was "ok" but we were all annoyed at this point. These chain places need to realize that paying customers has many choices of where to go and need to step up their customer service. read more

I wasn't impressed with the chicken but the steak was fantastic, even had some good searing on the outside which is so my style. the guacamole was so yummy, but the condiments (which come on a cool little condiment tree) were very small. I really needed more guac and salsa. Since I dont car to cheese my tacos/fajitas I wasn't concerned with the amount of cheese but there really wasn't enough. I went inside the restaurant with my children last night around 7:30 PM. They close at 10 PM. No one greeted me, I waited 10 minutes in the waiting area in front of the hostess stand to be greeted. There were two servers on the floor both of them looked up at us but never said a word or got a hostess. There was no bartender at the bar. Two parties came behind us and also end up leaving because we all waited and no one ever came to greet us we did end up finally leaving because no one greeted us in the 10 minutes we waited. We walked in around 6:30 on a Friday night and our party of 5 were promptly seated. We sat for 10 minutes with not so much as a look from anyone. We got up and politely asked if we could order drinks and food and a couple of the staff had trouble figuring out who our wait staff were but said they would send someone over for our drinks. We waited another 5 mins and still no water, no drink order. This place is small and it wasn't that busy. We got up and left with the manager chasing us down saying "I'm sorry"... too little too late.
