I have been to this Chili's so many times since moving to North Carolina. I always have a fantastic experience with the staff both waiters And bartenders. When I go to Chili's typically you get the same thing because It's always fantastic. Are usually get the grilled chicken Caesar salad. I would highly recommend the salad for anyone who goes to Chili's. The salad itself is very large and I'll always leave with extras. The beer is average price for a restaurant in this area but they do have a wide variety of beers which I really enjoy. When I go out to eat at tend to look for places that have a good selection of draft beer. If you are fond of craft beer I would definitely recommend the white zombie. I really enjoy Belgian wheat style beers and this one is absolutely amazing. This restaurant is also a family friendly! read more

We checked in online 45 minutes before arriving, upon arriving we were told it was another 15 minutes. 30 minutes later we got sat. The hostess told us we had to scan the QR code to get the menu, but gave the table next to us menus. We ordered our food, an hour and a half later, we got our food. Nothing was great. My sons bun on his burger was so hard he just ate the patties. My husband had a piece of hard plastic in his pasta. We will not return. Only good thing about chili's was the music! read more

Many, many years ago, Chili's was a staple for us after Friday night high school football. That was over thirty-one years ago, and it was always a good time back then. Yeah, so I haven't been to Chili's since Bush was in office. I had pretty much excused all these "bistro" type chain restaurants, (Applebees, TGIFridays, Chili's, O'Charleys, Ruby Tuesday) considering them disposable. Recently, a friend had mentioned they were going to Chili's and I laughed out loud at that notion thinking does anyone even eat at places like that anymore? The answer to that question is yes. This got me thinking of how great it was "back in the day" and 1986 flashbacks of warm Dallas Friday nights filled my head with thoughts of the "Rojo Burger", "The Old Timer", sizzling fajitas, the chicken soft tacos, the skillet queso and the bottomless chips. Fast forward to a typical Monday night in 2018. The location for a dinner meeting with a friend was closed and right next door was a Chili's so that is where we went. The menu has changed since then. Not a bad thing but, my go to "Rojo Burger" is long gone. The menu and the restaurant have been updated to accommodate newer generations of diners - totes millen-ya'll! :) I ended up going with the classic sirloin. It was a great choice! It was cooked exactly as I ordered it, came with steamed broccoli and a scoop of loaded mashed potatoes - all for $11.99. The cut of meat was good, with plenty of flavor, the broccoli was just right too - not soggy or under cooked. The mashed potatoes were spot on although, I think they were instant - still good though. My dinner companion had a similar experience and ordered the same sirloin off the Guiltless Grill - the difference being there is no mashed potatoes and is served with avocado slices and fresh vegetables. All in all, my experience was very good and just for a brief moment, I pictured all the laughter and enjoyment from those Friday nights so long ago. I'll be going back to Chili's soon. read more

We were very disappointed that we joined the wait list ahead of time & when we arrived were told (very bluntly & his exact words) "Our wifi is down & we can't check anyone in so you will have to find another place to eat". This Chili's location has terrible customer service and waiting times! I've tried to eat at this location three times in the past two weeks. Each time it's apparently a 45min-1hr wait, it's impossible to have an hour wait on a Monday afternoon with an empty parking lot and empty tables all throughout the restaurant. When I called to ask for the manager and the corporate office number, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes! This location has steadily gone down hill for years. I do not recommend eating here! read more

The salmon was burnt, my rice was undercooked, and the broccoli looked like it had been sitting out. My alcohol beverages were disappointing and lacked ingredients. Wow. what a disappointment. Our church group, (about 30 people) met there after church AFTER the management had been told 2 weeks ahead of time of our group size and arrival time. There were not enough seats to fit us in, as this location has a very small dining area. Even folks that were coming in as we left (almost 2 hours later) were still waiting. Our waiter, Chris (#026) was just plain wishing he were somewhere else and it showed in his attitude. Since we all had to wait very long for drinks, orders and food to be brought out, obviously our mood was pretty sour then, he offered no apology even once. Several orders, including my kids orders were wrong and had to be remade. (Really? How do you screw up a kid's Mac & Cheese?) Short story, our group of 30+ will be looking for a mom & pop place locally for our monthly lunches. My family and I will not be back to this location. Chain restaurants in general are going to HAVE to learn that you can't have sorry service, (we know that mistakes are going to happen) but then try to cover it up with a sorry attitude just doesn't cut it in our city. Chili's, your best bet is to move out of Burlington and go back to your major metros where you belong. read more

My husband and I came in wanting to be seated at 8:45 pm. Bartender looked at me and other staff and nobody seated us. We waited 15 mins with no recognition by staff on a table. The food was bad, way too greasy than it needed to be; the service was adequate but nothing to get excited about. The restaurant does not cater to groups of more than 4; there are no tables that can sit 6 or 7 people! And the tables are way too close to each other, there is barely any room to walk in the aisles. I arrived at chili yesterday around 12:30 pm the restaurant was fairly busy but got a table right away. I ordered twice baked potato soup and Cesar salad my salad was swimming in salad dressing and my soup was stone cold. The waitress had to flagged down to refill my grandsons water. Awful. My boyfriend has been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and I have been in for 4 years. The food was good but by far the worst service ever. Right when we walked in the hostess had rolled her eyes and was smacking in her gum. Then when she sat us she said everything with such attitude. The manager took or drink and food order because the server was busy (we saw her...she was not busy) when she did come by she told us her name and made sure the manager did help us. I order a soup and a salad and my boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich. Neither take very long we waited for 30 minutes for our food, him and I usually eat within that time. We could also tell it had been under the heat lamp for some time. Some how my soup came up but not my salad. Also my boyfriend was out of water for the majority of the time we were there. We had to ask another server for my salad. She brought my salad and never came back after that. We are usually great tippers but I barely wanted to tip her (of course we did). I was fuming after we left. Customer service is so important to a restaurant, I doubt him and I will ever go back. read more

We had a fabulous waitress! she was great with the kids. I especially appreciated that she brought out their dinners first. Most wait staff at every restaurant always serve the adults first, but it's so hard for the young ones to wait. our food was delicious. I ordered the rib eye It was thick, juicy, tender and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The only downside to our visit was the long long long wait for a table. We called a couple of days ahead to make a reservation and we're told they don't do that. When we arrived we, and everyone who came after us, we're all told to expect a 20-30 minute wait but it ended up being way over an hour before we were seated. They might be having a staffing shortage that night because we saw a lot of empty tables. Still I very much appreciate when the person at the front desk knows how to estimate a realistic wait time so we could make an informed decision as to whether we wanted to wait that long. If she had been more realistic, we probably would've left that night but would be much much more likely to return to the restaurant on a future date. Being misled abd waiting over an hour definitely makes us more likely to choose a different place next time. read more
