Ordered to go, and when we got there, there was no one at the to go desk. We waited 10 min and still no one. Then we went and found someone to see where our food was. They said that to go orders were to be picked up at the bar and said there was supposed to be a sign on the to go desk to note that. Then it took another 10 min to find my food. I got in the car and began to eat while driving to work (which I was hurrying because of the unexpected delay) and my food was cold because it had been sitting around. We went to dinner at Chili's. Half of the ribs had a nice amt. of meat on them, the other half had half the amt. of meat. Otherwise, the food was good. Two changes I'd like to see is when they bring you your "2 4 1" drinks, all at once, they also bring you a sponge or coasters, to set the cold drinks on, so water isn't running down the cold glass, making puddles on the table, and dripping on your lap when you pick it up. I'd also like the person who clears/cleans the tables not to use the same rag over and over again, on every table, with no soap or spray cleaner. One thing worked out well. We did not receive a hand wipe after eating the ribs, so we used the water from the drinks, which was all over the table, for our hands, and used one of the extra napkins we asked for to dry them. read more

We tried the Chili's to go last night and it was the worst experience we ever experience. That was our first and last time we are order online at this location. When we walked in we saw a few bags sitting on the counter and I glanced at one of the bags and I was excited because I saw my number. Well three employees walked behind the counter did something on the register and on of the three put another bag on the counter. NONE of those employees greeting myself or the other person that was standing next to me. After standing there for a good minute, I grabbed a server who was attending a table if I could just take my food. She told me that she would grab someone from the back. The lady finally comes from the back and just puts the food on the counter. Didn't apologize for the wait. NOTHING. Then she was going to walk away till I told her that the person next to me was also waiting. She said something under her breath and gave the lady her bag as well. Horrible experience. read more

I don't expect any more than what is already expected of Chili's. This place has one thing that I have not experience at any other Chili's I've been to, that is our server for that evening. Richard is very warming and lively knowing he's been working for a while that day. His lively attitude made it worth while, as I myself had a long day with my family as we spend the day at the parks. His positive attitude is the type that greatly contribute to such facility. As always, prices are average for a chain restaurant. Came in after a long day at the theme parks. Hostess saw my six year old son and I and I addressed that I needed a table for two. She said "Okay", And was quick to deflect us for another group of eight that came in immediately behind me. They were seated first, fine no big deal, but then another couple also came in and were also taken care of before my son and I were even noticed and taken care of again. What horrible hospitality! I absolutely refuse to come back here after this experience. I literally went to the Red Robin next door and was immediately seated and served right away. We come here quite often especially when we lived here now once a month or so. Our order was taken at 12:02 didn't get drinks until 12:15 food did not come until 12:40 and finally check at 1pm but had to ask for a detailed copy. We ordered off the lunch menu and expect quicker service especially for lunch. Waitress didn't seem to care and once she knew we were not happy didn't interact with us and couldn't even get our drinks refilled. There is other options like Red Robin and ale house now... I know because of their location they are always busy and turn a good amount of revenue, but customer service should still be priority. First time that Chili's has SERIOUSLY disappointed me! I called for 3/10 after receiving an e-mail saying that Big Mouth Bites have been added to the 3/10 special for the month of November. The female in to-go said there would be a $3 upcharge for that... I read the emai to her... No offer to check with her manager; she insisted on the upcharge. I didn't want to be a 'Karen', so I changed my order to bacon burger. After we hung up, I remembered that fries ate COLD by the time they travel the distance from Chili's to my house- I called back and asked to please swap out the fries for loaded mashed potatoes. She answered that she could NOT change the order because she already put the order through. I call TOTAL BS- it could have been changed easily. She was LAZY and didn't want the minute or so extra effort it would have taken to check with her manager or the kitchen. And I didn't want to be a 'Karen'. If it happens again, I WILL be a TOTAL KAREN on her. And if I go in to eat instead of curbside. I will refuse her service if she approaches our table and will speak with a manager to be re-assigned. Stayed at a nearby and there were not many places to choose from. We had a little wait (normal for a Saturday night-about 20 minutes). In the meantime, there was a man making balloon characters for the kids, so the time flew by. I love their thin tortilla chips and salsa, and the jalapeño mashed potatoes were tasty but not particularly spicy. Our waiter was friendly and food was timely. I have been to Chili's several times and I must say the service is not consistent. Wait time to be seated can be a little long but that can be expected depending on the time you arrive. The food is great they have a wide selection of food and the food is very flavorful and hot. The burgers and sandwiches are very big, juicy, and taste very fresh, so for you burger lovers out there; chili's is a good choice. Drinks are a must here and they do not disappoint, with their two for one specials and happy hour deals you cannot go wrong. The prices honestly are fair and the 2 for $20 and 2 for $35 are a great way to go out as a group. Drink prices are on the expensive side and would not hurt if they were a few dollars less, but the drinks are not overly expensive. But at the end of the day it all comes down to two things the food and the service. Like previously stated the food is great but the service at time leaves much to be desired. No introduction, empty glasses, and wondering where your waiter/waitress is; are things that should never happen during service, but it happens at chili's. In my opinion it is not that chili's servers are rude, they just need to try harder and be more attentive. Tips should be earned not just given because it is customary. Just like I earn my money, the servers should do the same. Conversely, this is not always the case there are some servers that are simply amazing and should be awarded because of the level of excellence they provide. Overall chili's is a good place for great food at reasonable prices and ok service. read more

I do have to disagree with some of the positive reviews people have been giving this place. This is the only large chain sit down restaurant on exit 58. I live down the street and have order curbside many times. There have been times where I've sat in my car for 10 min and waited for my food to come out. I have also gone inside and waited for my food as well. If I order food and it says it should be ready at a certain time, I don't even leave my house till 5 min after and still wait for my food when I get here. The straw that broke the camels back was when I ended up waiting an HOUR for my food on a tuesday around lunch time. I wasn't the only one waiting that long sadly. The manager brought my food out and didn't even know who it belonged to. I ended up writing a letter to the company in which I never received a response back. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the other places to eat 1 exit down at US27 and I4 and do not waste your time here. read more

I ordered Togo about 30 minutes ago, whoever took my order (2 buffalo chicken salads) was very friendly and read back the order and everything was how it should be. I go and pick it up and surprised as to how dead it was at the bar, I was the only one sitting there waiting. The bartender greeted me and rang me up. Came back and looked to see if I had tipped him/signed the slip and I left. I drove off to notice I didn't get any napkins or silverware? I mean it's a Togo order, you would think they'd have that nailed down by now. My last bar tending and serving jobs I had it was routine to add to any and all Togo bags. I get to my location and no sauce on the side like I asked, no croutons like I asked. Should I wonder if one of them (that had no mods) even have the dressing on it? Or was it supposed to come on the side? I would hate to have to order from this location on a busy night if this is how things are handled on a slow afternoon day while a storm is going on outside. We go to Chilis at least once a week but we decided tonight would be our last visit to the Chilis at Valley Ranch in Irving Tx. We have tried over the last few months to think it would get better but it doesn't. In fact it has gotten worse. The service is horrible and the food now is equal to the service. We always get queso the last few times it has been cold and greasy. The salads look like the lettuce was used from a reject pile. I have never seen lettuce with absolutely no green. Tonight again or order was wrong and the when we told the wattier he told and asked him to bring a burger without onions. He said he would see what he could do. REALLY. I just had the worst, hard as a rock, frozen from a bag onion rings that I've had at a Chilis. I know it's a $20 steak but, it was very chewy & had an off taste-probably why it was drenched in steak seasoning. I've had far, far better steaks at Outback & Applebee's for the same price & even other Chllis. But, this one was abysmal. I really don't like the touch screen & preprogrammed tip-if you don't have time to waite on me then I don't have time for a preprogrammed high tip. But, that's just tech. We like coming here on Sundays for the happy hour menu & sit in the bar (there are always BOGO drinks in the bar and free chips and salsa.) This place is always packed but we usually can find a seat in the bar area. Servers are good, although sometimes a little hetic. I hadn't been to a Chili's in a while because the food and service had become so bad. I wish they would go back to their roots. I used to love Chili's. I stopped in for lunch today thinking I can get some work done. This is about the only full service restaurant in area. The service was good. Although, I wish servers wouldn't call you honey or darling. It is off-putting especially coming from someone 20 years younger! Anyway, I tried the lunch combo of southwest chicken soup and chicken tacos. The presentation was good but the soup tasted like it came from a soup in the bag. The tacos were loaded with 2 cheeses and the chicken was hard to find. The chicken was really mushy and the first taco I just thought it was because it was shredded chicken with too much sauce. On the second taco I bit into a chewy piece of something. I had to spit it out and it was a raw piece of fatty chicken. I completely lost my appetite. I pointed out to the server who apologized and said she would show the manager. She insisted it couldn't be raw because their chicken comes in all pre-cooked! I don't know much, but pretty sure I know raw meat. The server came back and said they took care of my lunch. That was appreciated. However, I wish managers would take the time to acknowledge guests dissatisfaction. This type of management is prevalent in the industry. It really makes the guest feel like they did something wrong. Don't you want me to come back? I may at some later date, but because of the lack of taking accountability by these managers, I am one of the many silent but no return guests. So when you have those really slow days because you don't have a regular clientele, remember, you're in customer service. Provide good customer service and good food and we'll come back.
