Came here to let everyone know that this place is still great. I've heard some bad things but came today after seeing a movie. The wait staff were wonderful and the table was clean. I've been seeing videos on Tik tok to do the triple dipper and had to do the cheese pull lol. It was so delicious and everything was so fresh. When the week has been rough, we usually DoorDash this Chili's because the food is consistently good, no matter what we order. Is it perfect, no.... But I doubt you'll get a better burger at any of the casual dining restaurant franchises. It's been about two years since this store has been our go-to on a DoorDash night and since nothing has changed in that time, I gotta say, it's a solid place. That said, here's our breakdown of our last order. Nashville Hot Chicken Crispers.... Not real hot but great flavor. The chicken is tender and juicy. Downside, they didn't give me the side of the Nashville Hot Sauce that I ordered. Still, it's good with ranch. Big Mouth Burgers... My usual is the Alex's Santa Fe Burger, which is outstanding. These little burgers have cheese and sautéed onions. Imagine a fresh White Castle burger, but WAY better. Their Pattie's are seasoned so well and this might be a new favorite for me when I want a burger, but not a huge one. They're really good! Weak point: the Southwest Eggrolls. Might be an unfair comparison but there's a little tavern in Washington, Georgia that makes these from scratch and they are stellar!!! The Chili's version have almost no flavor and the egg roll wrappers are consistently soggy. The avocado ranch dipping sauce doesn't add much flavor either. I hadn't been to a Chili's in years. Apparently there were a lot of folks like me who had grown tired of the brand so in 2017, the company dropped nearly half their menu items and reintroduced themselves as a burger, ribs and fajita place. They built new restaurants in new locations. The Dawsonville location has some local touches, offers a very comfortable dining experience and seems to hire well as our servers on several visits have been fun people who seem to like working there. Our server approached the table and asked what kind of margaritas we wanted, paused, and burst out laughing at her own joke saying, "I'm just kidding, you guys are definitely beer drinkers." And she nailed it. They definitely made the right pivot in 2017. They have a good menu, hire fun people in Dawsonville and serve a very good burger as well as a good chicken sandwich with decent fries. read more

Honestly I've always enjoyed chili's they have great pricing and lots of options to please everyone in your group. Like any restaurant you go to more often you're bound to have a bad experience and I've had my share. However, overall the food is relatively consistent and the service is usually on point at this location. I came in for lunch and we were seated quickly and got our drinks and food quick as well. No complaints overall this last visit except that it was freezing cold inside the restaurant so I should have brought a sweater. Georgia weather being unpredictable as always I'm sure it's a struggle to keep up with the changes in temp sometimes. I got the 3 for $10 with sweet tea, chicken crispers, and the southwest chicken soup. All of it was delicious and I took home leftovers of everything and it all reheated beautifully. I got the chicken crispers and they were not done. I told the waitress and it made her mad. She jerked up the plate and said she would have them drop them back in. She brought them back about two minutes later and they looked just like they did the first time. I cut into them and you could tell the inside was not done. I told her again they just were not done. She said I'll get the manager. The person who called himself the manager said if I cook them any longer they will be burned and ACTUALLY REFUSED to take them back. He said he knows he put them back in for 9 minutes. That's not true because she was bringing them back two minutes later. The manager was cooking chicken in the kitchen?!? Well I ate some of the fries while my husband ate and I didn't eat the chicken. Nobody apologized for raw chicken and it was on the bill. We paid for a plate of inedible chicken. I'm very glad I decided to have lunch at Chili's today. They weren't very busy, and that ended up really being a benefit for me. They have an awesome "pick 3" deal where you choose a beverage, an appetizer, and an entree for only $10! I chose a chipotle honey crispers which came with fries and another side. For my appetizer, I chose the Cesar salad . All of my food came out fresh and was seasoned perfectly. My drink was amazing too. I had a promo for a free appetizer as well. Spinach dip was superb. Great place for dinner tonight for a change. My wife had the Crispy Crispers with Corn on the Cob and fries. Said the meal was great corn was well cooked. This Chili's seems to be smaller than most chili's I have been to, but it's basically the same place as you know from the corporate chain. Nothing too special a lot this location other that they staff is local and very friendly. I have been here pre COVID and post and right now as everyone they are hurting for staff. You may go and only be able to sit in the bar due to being short staffed so if you heart is set on dining in make sure to check wait times and notes on the door on how many they can seat. You know... I came here to write a negative review... and in searching for the correct location I noticed all the Chili's near me are 2.5 stars. Maybe I should have checked Yelp BEFORE ordering. Anyways... I just grabbed to go for my family, and came home to some disappointments. First, there is the inevitable fact that it takes 20 minutes to get home so don't expect food to be hot. Also, they were very busy so I feel for them on that. However, everything was down right cold... and dry and overcooked (big mouth bites). I ordered the egg rolls and they weren't cut. Just a general lack of attention to care. Additionally, I had to wait about 45 minutes for my pickup order to be ready which may speak to the freshness of it. It is likely some of it was ready for a while and sitting. The real red flag, in fact the catalyst for this review was our son's kids quesadilla. It looked like tortilla chips with baked on cheese. No two "chips" were even connected. I'm sure we will eat at this location again, but never to go. At least if you are dining in you can address the issues and with that in mind they likely use better care in preparation. UPDATE --- After watching the Try Guys Keith eats the menu at Chili's I now think they gave us Nachos instead of quesadillas. So... maybe not an atrocious quesadilla but instead the wrong order. Food is chilis so i cant give it 5 stars but super clean, not crowded. Every other table. Staff was outstanding. Food was as expected but wanted to yelp them to help them get dome customers back. First time at this location and food is pretty much the same as other locations. I had a mushroom burger with the black bean patty and it was good. My friend had the Ole Timers burger, just a plain burger and said it is like all of their other burgers, good. We were passing through and wanted a quick bit so opted for an online order with curbside pick up. Super efficient and very pleasant service. This is the first time I been to this location and also first time at a Chili's in about 1 year. The new location decor is amazing and very brightly lit. Parking here is plentiful on a Saturday night which is very surprisingly as I remember back in the late 90's as every Chili's location was always packed and wait time was like 30 minutes. Service is amazing as we were seated in a booth as we wanted super fast. Waitress here was super friendly and got our drinks and salsa/chips super fast. I ordered the famous Boss Burger which has like 2100 calories. I will be feeling it tomorrow when I am jogging 5 miles to get rid of it. Lol. I ordered the Onion Pedals for my side which was super tasty. My date had the Snokehouse Bbq combo that came with the half order of Baby back ribs, beef brisket, and Original chicken crispers. It also came with 2 sides which included Broccoli and super tasty corn on the cob. I definitely will be back as the price was not bad for the amount of food we got and still had left overs for tomorrow's breakfast. I really enjoyed this new location. 3/1/19 update: Like most reviews on here, they are correct. Service is crap here. We came in and wanted a table. I asked host that that I wanted a booth. And the host stated that we can sit in the bar. I am like there is no booths there. He was like you can wait 10-15 minutes for a table. I saw 3 empty booths unseated and host says they can only seat larger parties in there. So they took my cell phone number and put me on the wait list. Fast forward 20 minutes later, I still have no received a call and seen several parties come after us and beat seated already. I came back inside to check with the host. Host was like you on the waiting list. He then took us to a tiny ass booth. I looked around and saw plenty of booths available. I guess if I never came back inside to check on seating, I would of never got a call or been seated. Server was decent, the drink refills took a while to get but it finally starting coming faster. Only complaint is the horrible host in the front. Manager really needs to regulate it. And oh yeah, when my bacon burger food was brought out, manager rolled my street corn over where it messed up the toppings. Good one. . The bacon burger was super salty. Tasted horrible. On July 20th we visited this restaurant around 9pm. No one was at the desk to greet you. The girl asked how many I told her 7 the restaurant was almost completely empty. There was one table that was full and she told us we would have to wait until those people were finished so we could sit there. She was more concerned about the 18 that was supposed to come in. She was very rude told us to go sit in the car and she would text us when the table was ready. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours before we were seated and besides the 18 were seated after us. When we got our food my daughter and son in law ordered an Old Timers burger and it came out with cabbage instead of lettuce. In the futher be visiting this location anyone I come in contact with I will advise them not to visit either. read more

My wife and I live in Dawsonville and decided to give Chili's a chance to become our mid-restaurant of choice. We went there every week for 8-10 weeks. Best part the employees are personable, friendly but it stops at that. During our on-going visits once a week, never walked in the restaurant that 2-5 off-duty employees sitting at the bar. Basically the Bar is an employee lounge for those getting off duty and/or going on duty. Our last (& last visit) visit there were 10 Chili employees at the bar - 2 vaping and 2 dipping in styrofoam cups, also for 6-8 weeks you have an employee on duty that intermittently joins the group with knees in the bar chair exposing the back side for all the restaurant to see -past disgusting. When we addressed the issue with the bartender, all turned around and stared at us. It was uncomfortable, but in all due respect your employees should not have been participating w/such behavior. We will go with the other's assessments of food, overdone, unsavory - staff is distracted - bottom line - you are running an employee lounge with great rapport and team present, but not to serve your clients with the quality food expected for such a nice restarant - We will not be back. read more

We entered and the host told us they were only seating people in the bar. The rest of the dining room was closed, and because of this they had a long wait time. Got curbside ordered in a weekday. There was trouble with the tablets freezing up (2 of them) when processing my card. I ended up going inside to pay which I didn't mind considering the tablets freezing up was not the staffs fault. However the food was pretty bad. Everything was very dry and stale tasting.
