Instead of checking with the kitchen or offering to correct the order, I was simply told that was what I ordered. The wings were also dry and overcooked, and my French onion soup was served cold. By that point, I had lost confidence in the meal. I understand that mistakes happen in restaurants. What disappointed me most wasn't just the food, it was the way my concern was handled. A simple apology or an offer to verify the order would have completely changed my experience. As a first-time customer, this was not the impression I was hoping for. I hope Mattingly's takes customer feedback seriously and improves both its food quality and customer service.
