Came here on a Sunday and got sat right away! We did patio seating and it was really nice. Service was pretty quick and it was reasonably priced. The chips and salsa were really good too. Sitting on the patio was really nice but a train came by and was pretty loud while we were eating. Not a bad thing and nothing the restaurant can do about it but maybe something to think about when you sit outside.

We went on a Saturday night, but we were seated right away. I got the Burrito San Jose and it was delicious. It came with rice and beans. My wife got the Chicken Nachos. Our waiter was HUSTLING! He kept us stocked with drinks and chips and salsa. We had a great experience tonight.

It was quiet Sunday afternoon as we were seated right away. I did not see they had a parking lot but we had no issues finding street parking. The taco salad fajita was absolutely fire. The taco shell was cooked to perfection. It had a good crunch and a good amount of cheese sauce. The chimichanga was also good but not as good as the taco salad. We enjoyed eating here. They do allow dogs on their patio. They do have a sign if you could pay in cash if possible. We'll pay in cash next time.

Yum! We had lunch at San Jose during the Webster Blues and Jazz festival. The service was great and the food was delicious as always. I always enjoy San Jose in Webster Groves.

This restaurant is tucked in a shopping center next to a Savers and Super Cuts. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday and were surprised by how big the restaurant really was. The service was great and we loved how quickly we were seated and greeted with chips and salsa, we ordered the Papas Locas, Carnitas Tacos and the San Jose Burrito. My partner got a coke and I got a Piña Agua Fresca. We loved the food, the energy, and the decor.

Loved this place! My friends and I were all saying we're definitely coming back! Ample seating, food tasted AMAZING and all came out fresh/hot. We all got margarita flights which I loved the taste of them all and they weren't too strong. Parking and service was great as well. The only thing was the table ran out of room by the time we received everything and the appetizers came out minutes before our main entrees. So that would be the only thing if they are able to ask if any appetizers want to be ordered when we get drinks and/or pacing it to where we receive appetizers first and have at least a little time in between before we're served main course.

If you're looking for a great place to have some drinks with a friend and just catch up, this is the place to go. We were not hungry as we had lunch earlier and did a little shopping but we weren't done talking so we decided to swing by here for a margarita. I remembered from a prior visit that they had margarita flights and it looked very interesting. It was listed on the menu as. Margarita Flight four 8oz flavored drinks. Mango, Hibiscus, Pineapple, and Lime Sangria $16. We decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I think ours had a watermelon one and maybe not the hibiscus one, I'm not quite sure but they were all delicious. I could not even decide which one I like the best. Two of them came on the rocks and two of them came frozen. They also came with this straw that was coated with like a candy type stuff and seasoning. When you put it in your margarita and then tasted it, it was a bit spicy but very different. .We just couldn't quite figure out what it was, and the waitresses English was not very well to be able to explain it to us. But we tried it. We sat there for a couple hours talking, sipping on our flight and eating chips and salsa. It was a perfect ending to our afternoon. They recently did some upgrades to the dining area when you walk in and it's really cute now and organized well. They had nice music and very festive atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious food, great and attentive service, and a very nice ambiance! Some of the best food I've had in Missouri, and definitely the best Mexican food in St. Louis. The green chicken enchiladas were excellent, and the churros were the perfect dessert. Definitely check this place out!

Traditional Tex-Mex flavors with festive decor. Large group seating and outdoor seating. Bagged chips are fried, jarred smooth red salsa, and margaritas from a mix (not fresh lime juice). White queso is addictive! I had a combo and enjoyed the chimichanga with seasoned ground beef the best. Wife had the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas - large portion with plenty of veggies. Fajitas could have used a touch more salt. Our niece had the kids cheese pizza with French fries. Fries were hot, pizza was the frozen variety which they could have added a touch of their own cheese for her. Service was prompt and friendly. Plenty of TVs for a game. Bar had a visual display with colorful plates above it. Overall the restaurant has the over the top color scheme and festive decor that I enjoyed. Food was solid at reasonable prices. Pick 3 combo was $15, Mix Fajitas were $19. I wouldn't drive out of your way to check it out, but it's solid option for Crestwood area!

I had eaten a big lunch, so I ordered a couple of sides, Poblano Rajas and Half-Smashed Black Beans no cotija. For the table, my daughter's ordered the Classic Queso, and Chips & Salsa Two-Ways. The Queso was good but those salsas? They were really great. The red was smokey, which I love and not a lot of places do, and the green was a spicy pineapple, I think, it was so good! There was a Handmade Limeade ordered and it was so refreshing! I enjoyed the sides I ordered; I tasted the Al Pastor Empanadas, delicious and more so with that green salsa - sweet and spicy! Great spot I am glad we tried. Would love to return for a pitcher of margaritas when I am not driving!

It's been a few weeks since I had any pocket cash to go out to eat... so I decided to pick a food…read moresource at random for a Saturday afternoon, and I'm SO GLAD I did... You know how they say one of the best things about Mexico is the food? I have to admit, I would honestly wouldn't know and just have to trust the stories I've heard, as I've never been lucky enough to go to Mexico.... But all my life I've heard stories about people who go and basically remind you.. NEVER hit a restaurant for _authentic_ Mexican food. You want to hit the street vendors. Well, St. Louis has a fantastic surprise.. Now you can do that right here in the city! Part of a three-restaurant set up, Amigo Sole is the "street vendor" restaurant that's not on the street. (And having met the owner of the full set-up, I'm REALLY hoping i get invited to the grand opening of Jekyll & Hyde) As it was middle of the day Saturday, I didn't ask for anything alcoholic (so i don't know if the reviewer that asked for alcoholic beverages and was told they didn't have any was just unlucky or if it was true.) But I'll take a Mexican Coke over American Coke any day of the week (NO, get your minds out of the gutter.. not that powdered one!). Anyway, I went simple for a quick stop, and went with the Chicken Bomb. at the recommendation of the cashier and he was quick to name this one off.. (and always remember cashiers, have a favorite READY, so thumbs up to the cashier on this one!) . And then to my amazement.. no more than 5 minutes later, HOT, tasty, cheesy, chicken quesadilla style BOMB-diggity! (Ironically this one is not listed on the website menu, only the instore menu? Come on Sole, online is everything today :) ) Absolutely delicious food.. and absolutely messy too, as it literally would fall apart in my hands.. (HEY, that's a good thing!) As for the decor.. 100% true, as Amigo Sole definitely has SOUL! (and lots of soles!). Again Amigo Sole isn't designed to be a 'great sit down' restaurant, it's designed to be street-vendor FUN!!!! and with what decoration they have, it pulls it off fantastically in my opinion. So just based on my meal, what the owner told me about the Amigo Sole, you're getting EXACTLY what you're promised a Mexican street vendor serving fantastic Mexican street vendor food, only with a roof over your head the entire time. During the meal, met again (Who i believe to be) the owner of the store and talked with him about Amigo Sole and how amazing it was to me... and he told me about the three-restaurant combination. (And I apologize sir, but I completely forgot your name when we talked!). even mentioning they share three kitchens when it gets busy (so I was kinda lucky as i think the rain scared everyone out for the day), but I'm still hoping for the Jeckyll & Hyde invitation! (I'll even pretend to find a date if I have to for the upscale part!)
