What a horrible takeout meal we just got from there. ! we got the 3 for 10 deal and the only part of meal good was the chips I got the chicken crispers that were small and soggy pieces of dough soggy onion petals or whatever they are and 10 soggyfrench fries I called to complain and they could care less I asked if 10 fries were customers to an order and 4 soggy crispers ( should not be called that) snd she said yeah our dudes tend to be small. That's a joke of a response I even asked if that's what they give I will not come there again and she could care less I can't believe I wasted40 on 3 meals and a tip I should have been refunded something for that horrible meal. Never again will I step foot in a Chili's restaurant (and especially the one in Flanders NJ)....This experience was such a nightmare, I don't know where to start. Next to another experience in a restaurant which I had years previous, where the septic tank overflowed during the meal and filled the restaurant with a cesspool like odor, I have to say, this Chili's experience ranks up there, undeniably, as one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. First of all, I don't complain lightly. At our table, between my sister and I, was well over 40 years experience in the restaurant business (as servers, bartenders, managers and owners). We know how though it can be at times, things go wrong, but we take our jobs seriously, we appreciate the customer, and above all, make the customer's dining experience right, no matter what unforeseen circumstances manifest. Luckily, we honed our skills in some of NYC's best restaurants. THE MEAL The night started with big bowl of rancid, rust tasting and over-limed, guacamole that caused our mouths to pucker up and gag? When we complained, The waitress apologized and was nice enough to get us a bowl of freshly prepared guacamole (which was kinda okay), even though when our food came out, there were smaller portions of the earlier, vile tasting guacamole accompaning our entrees (you would think our waitress would report it to management instead of just continuing it to be allowed to be served and alienating other customers). The service ... talk about head in the clouds ... our waitress was so disassociated. She's ask us how things were or if we needed anything else and then she sprinted off multiple times, not even taking the time to listen to the problems with our orders. I ordered the double order, baby backs. One rack was what I ordered, the other 1/2 rack was not what I ordered. As far as baby back ribs, it wasn't a taste sensation by any means ... it was just okay, food I'd expect to get when you're on an airline. It was an ordeal to get napkins. We'd asked, and then waited 10 minutes ... and had to grab a second waitress, while we had sauce dripping from our hands and chin ....... Watch YOUR Bill ... Okay, we placed a takeout order for a family member at home. The order never arrived, but, yep, you guessed it, the charge for the order which never arrived was on the final bill (oh yea, it evidentally was never ordered either). So, what was GOOD about our dining experience at Chili's? ... It was leaving it ... Chili's Management and corporate should be ashamed at not checking in on this ill-runned branch as it reflects on Chili's corporate. Inexperienced and negligent servers on the floor just don't cut it. Food leaving the kitchen ill prepared OR not up to some sort of standards, should never blasphemy a customer's palate . what a depressing experience. mother's day out--with my two children--first mother's day without my mom. ordered the nachos, which i have LOVED previously. The plate arrives and the chips are black and appear inedible and it's just straight up burned. tried to persevere, because i absolutely hate to make a fuss and i was hungry. Tasted horrible and as burned as they appeared. extremely sweet and helpful server was appalled at kitchen for sending it out that way, profusely apologized, and asked they make me a new plate. some 10 minutes later my new plate arrives. nachos burned in exact same way (i suspect maybe it's the same plate). the manager apparently intercepted the server when she went to the kitchen, tasted a burned nacho and said " it's not burned! they are supposed to be like this. i keep telling customers they are supposed to be like this". he never came to our table after i requested we talk to him. will be eacalating to corporate. read more

I ordered a smoke house combo through DoorDash. After I placed the order I was told I would have my food delivered around 9:30. Well it's five minutes to 10 and Chilis is still preparing the order. The estimated delivery time is now 10:24. I'm not blaming this on DoorDash, Chili's didn't have the order ready when they promised to. So not only are you keeping me waiting but your holding up the delivery driver almost an hour. This is ridiculous. read more

This chili's has been hit or miss. I've been here a few times and it really depends on the service. The food is consistently the same. It's pretty good, nothing more or less then what you expect from chilis. The good: The last time I was here the experience was fine, our waiter was good. The drinks stayed filled and he was a pretty nice guy. The Bad: The time before the last time I came here the service was horrible. I waited at the bar for some friends since two of use showed up a little early. Had a few drinks and I think they gave us some chips. Then our party arrived and we were seated. This is we're it all went downhill. We started with drinks, I brought mine over from the bar I didn't finish yet. One of the girls wanted their margarita special, were you get the mug for 4 dollars. He kept insisting that it was a patron margarita, we said the menu says is a classic but as long as we get the right drink it's you can call it what you like. Yeah a different drink came out, one that was 10 dollars more expensive. After that we all ordered apps. Which came except one person, who happened to just be ordering an app. They told her it would be right out, mean while we asked for utensils, we were told they would come to the table soon. Since most of the things could be eaten by hand that pretty much what happened because that when the dinners came out minus one. We asked for utensils again, and for the one app that never came out. We were told they would be right out, a few minutes later a full rack of ribs came out, with only 4 ribs on the plate. We asked for utensals again and the server laughed and said we would have to eat with our hands. We probably waited for another 10 minutes before our actual server showed up told him one person never got there app which was there meal, the other person has 4 ribs on a plate that suppose to be a full rack of ribs and we still haven't gotten utensils. The server proceeded to tell us that they ran out of utensils and the app that the person ordered. They also said a full rack as 4 ribs, we outright called bullshit and he said he would speak to a manager. While waiting someone else a few tables over go the same app our friend had ordered. Our server came back and said their manager was busy and that that's a full rack of ribs. At this point we just ate and left, if the table wasn't bolted to the floor it probably would have been flipped it i was so angry. Granted this happened once and but once is enough to make me thing everytime someone suggest going here if I'll get overcharged for drink, get my food, or be told to eat with my hands. read more

This is probably the worst take out experience I have ever had! While carrying my dinner upstairs I realized that the gallon of ice tea was punctured and leaked all over my front seat. I ordered the Smoked Wings as an appetizer that came out rubbery and I'm not exactly sure If they gave me the wrong wings or if this is their definition of smoked. As an entree I got the Santa Fe Burger well done that was not well done and so soggy that I had to take it off the bun. It was advertised to be an avacodo burger but the piece of avocado was so small it didn't even cover half the burger. The other enter we got was the Beef Quesadillas which were overdone but edible. The petals that I substituted for the fries weren't bad but were extremely cold being I live five minutes from the restaurant and arrived early to pick up my dinner. It was like the meal had been sitting there for a while. The only things I really enjoyed was the side salad and the small cup of chili that I thankfully added to my meal. For desert I had the s'mores cake that looked amazing but was definitely not fresh and tasted NOTHING like a s'mores or even the slightest bit like graham cracker. When I first walked in the restaurant I went over to the bar and there was no bartender there for about 5 minutes while the bar was relatively busy and had maybe five tables in the surrounding area. Finally someone realized I was Waiting and directed me over to the pick up counter. The food was waiting for me when I got there which was strange being advertised that it will be ready in 20 minutes after ordering online. I would probably never order from this chili's again but I do like the chain chills as a whole. I'm defiantly going to test the bar one night and order every margarita on the menu because chili's claims to be the margarita genius! read more

Surprisingly good. Freshly made guacamole at the table for the appetizer. The entrees were the short rib enchiladas which were good but a bit too heavy on the lime. The tacos were also good and fresh. Large portions for the price. Chiles has really stepped it up with technology by implementing Ziosk tablets at each table. This allows you to place orders and pay your bill with little to no waitress involvement. read more

Horrible. Ordered online, waited 1/2 hr and went to pickup. Employee came out and told me they gave away my food accidentally - my entire order. Offered to retake the order, but I could not wait there another half hr and asked to just have my credit card refunded. To my surprise, I was told no, sorry we can't do that. I reminded them that they completely messed up and again asked for a refund, again The employee told me no and said he could go get his manager, I said please do. After a few minutes he came back out and told me the manager was too busy and offered gift cards instead. I said no thank you, please get your manager because I want a refund...he told me they were too busy and would not come out. Let me start by saying that manager should be ashamed and should not be a manger. I wouldn't let someone like that tend to the restroom. Chili's really needs to evaluate how they find "managers". Well stopped here for a fast bite- service was great , food was not anything we expected. It's been years since we were here , and I remember some good dishes. I had a chillie and side salad. The chilli is nothing like I thought it should be like, more canned and processed than fresh tasting. I get that people generally leave reviews when something is either really great or really bad and really bad is the case with my review. This Chili's location has been going down hill for quite some time. For years we put up with the lackluster service of someone taking their sweet time to come to your table and after they take your order they disappear again. We have never gone into the restaurant during peak times and yet somehow the servers always seem to be absent. Nobody ever comes by to ask you how you're doing or to ask if you need a drink refill. Your only contact after the meal is when they shove the little screen in your face to pay and ask you for a favorable review. Tonight was officially my last time going to this place. We placed a takeout order that took over an hour to get. We got to the restaurant when we were told the food would be ready. Almost an hour later we're still sitting in the To Go parking space watching car after car get their bags. To be specific, there were DoorDash delivery people coming in for their orders which, apparently for Chili's is the more important customer and not the person who was willing to go get their own order. I asked several times nicely when the food would be out only to be brushed off with the "it's being packaged" stock response. Really? It takes an hour to bag food? Meanwhile, I'm sitting in my car watching the same trucks getting bags and bags of food orders. Those people left and others showed up, picked up their orders and this just kept happening. All the people had DoorDash bags, so I know I'm not just assuming. On top of that I see some guy come out of the restaurant WITH A DOG just following behind him. Not a service dog and clearly not a therapy dog since the guy's "therapy" was siting at the bar. I got more disgusted when the guy went to his truck to get something and proceeded to go back into the restaurant again with the dog (dog was never on a leash). I tried not to have to go into the little takeout door to check on my order not just because of the dog but also for Covid-19 reasons and knowing there was no 6-foot distance space (and clearly other people were jammed in there already). I got forced to go in though because after almost an hour - NO FOOD! So I walk in and there was another nice person trying to explain that her food was late and she was "just a regular customer". Honestly? DoorDash should not be taking precedence over anybody. Orders should be filled when they are received, not to achieve some rating by a delivery service. The nice lady left and I asked about my food and there was only one sympathetic person at the register who apologized. I told her I get it and I didn't want to be "that" person but honestly the food is expensive and why do I want to eat it cold? And when is enough finally enough? I saw the guy with the dog at the bar and even though I was disgusted I had no intention of saying anything to him. That was until his dog just walked up to me and started sniffing me. The dog was not on a leash and allowed to wander around the restaurant? How disgusting is that and how do you know that someone isn't allergic? It's a pandemic and humans aren't even allowed to be within less than 6 feet of each other but yet a dog gets the run of the restaurant? The old jerk was nasty to me and I was nasty right back. Service dogs for one, are on leashes and two, don't just walk up to people looking for attention - they're doing a job and are trained not to interact with other people and I certainly never interacted with this animal in any way to get his attention. So that excuse is off the table. Plus, if you're taking your "service" dog to a BAR don't you think you have bigger issues? I tried to call the restaurant but guess what? They have a prerecorded message that says nobody can help you. How lovely is that? I get that it's a pandemic and people are doing their best but this was not the case tonight. The world has been functioning this way for months now - this isn't some surprise that got dropped on you this morning - figure it out like we all have had to do. There is clearly no management present to handle the multiple problems going on at this location. I stand by my review and don't want other people to have the same problem I did. So if you're looking for really expensive food that takes a long time to get with no manager on hand AND you like it when animals roam around places where humans eat food then Chili's in Mt. This place is all star bad. No hostess at the station, sat there waiting for a few minutes. Friars were down so no fried food available. Food was pretty bad. Was in the area tonight and got chili's to go for the family. We arrived at our expected time , and our food was brought out immediately . Once we returned home, 10 minute drive, we opened the food and it was nasty. Guac was dark brown and reeked, and nachos looked as if they had been cooked and left out all day . Fajitas had a smell like food included had turned. My husbands salad also looked as if it had been prepared at lunch and left out all afternoon. It was inedible. If I were able to give a NEGATIVE rating for the Mt. Olive Chili's, I would! I went to there last night for dinner and the ONLY thing I was offered or given was a menu! From there I was ignored - I guess that the people who were supposedly "working" didn't want to serve me or need to earn a tip, which, as I was leaving, I made a point of mentioning that to the ONLY person that I saw actually doing his job - the busboy! I am so disappointed because Chili's USED TO BE my favorite place to go to, but not any longer! I ended up at Taco Bell and spent my money there instead! IF IT IS TRUE THAT PEOPLE ARE REALLY HURTING FOR MONEY, THEN WHY DO THEY NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS? My fiance and I came here last Thursday night and it has ruined chilis for us forever. We sat at the bar and both ordered blueberry pineapple margaritas, southwest egg rolls, and a bbq platter to share. The bartender wasn't very friendly and it was hard to get things from him at times but after what happened next that was the least of our concern. When we got our main meal we each ordered a 2nd margarita. We had a few sips and at the same exact time we looked at eachother and said oh no I don't feel good!! We quickly boxed up our food and paid for our tab on the little computer thing. We literally could get out of there fast enough. We both ended up throwing up in the parking lot before we could even make it in to our vehicle. It was the worst feeling in the worst. It literally felt like our stomachs were on fire! This review is for the Chili's in Mount Olive on International Drive. Firstly, I've been here many times and can honestly say the food is always consistent and tasty & much better than Fridays and apple bees. Both of those chains have gone down hill. What has aggravated me in my last two trips to this chili's is the App stating their is no wait and immediate seating is available, only to drive the short 15 minutes and be told it's 35 minutes to be seated. Furthermore, their is a sign on the wall that states you can call them and they'll put your name on the wait list. Also, while your waiting the 35 minutes, open tables sit idle. So, when we decided to go to chili's tonight, I checked the app and low and behold, it said no wait and immediate seating was available. I said to myself, let me call them and find out the truth. Well, you guesses it, I called and they said 30 minute wait. I said okay, please put me on the list. We got their in 15 minutes and waited another 10 to be seated. When we sat down, I counted 10 idle tables. And their was a mob of people waiting to be seated. I feel that this restaurant is mismanaged or maybe chili's has changed the way they seat and serve their customers. However, the food was very good. read more

There is plenty of parking, but most of the space is behind the restaurant. They currently have a promotion that if you check in using four square you get chips free. read more

Never again. Ordered coffee and found dirt stuck to the bottom of the inside of the cup once I finished it. Ordered and burger which was served on a dirty plate that was clearly visible to the eye and should not have made it to the table. They walked right by us as we were waiting to be seated. Had to steal menus and seat ourselves. Bartender ignored me too so we had to literally track down a waiter. Didn't bring silverware when food arrived. My friend's food was supposed to come with chips... it didn't! Imagine a Skillet Queso without chips or silverware. Should be ZERO stars! We have been here numerous times and had good experiences he other times but this experience ruined any chance of me ever going back to this location. We were in the restaurant on 11/23/13 around 6:30 PM. The place was crowded but there were at least four tables and two booths that were not filled, yet they had a huge crowd waiting at the door and they were telling everyone that it would be a 25 minute wait. All of the tables that were unoccupied were within site of where everyone was waiting. The wait time was not 25 minutes, more like 10, before being seated at one of the booths that was open. Staff took our orders quickly and things seemed ok but went downhill fast. There were several visibly intoxicated people at the bar. Considering this and the fact that it was snowing lightly out, they probably should have been cut off a lot sooner but they were still drinking when we left. Besides the drunks two men were seated at the booth behind us. It became very obvious that everyone knew them. When staff members began sitting at the table, hugging them, jumping on them, I thought it ridiculous. Especially when some continued serving customers without washing their hands after rubbing the head of one of them. Unsanitary to say the least. What I really found objectionable though was that one staff member, a fellow with a faux hawk and beard, sat down with them and, after checking to see if anyone was watching him (I would guess looking for a manager) had a shot with them. The staff was so busy hanging out in the next booth that nobody bothered coming over to see if I wanted another soda until I was done eating. We barely saw anyone at all but these two guys had three or four of the staff sitting at their table, besides those that just stopped to say hello. I don't mind someone saying hello if you know them but it is totally unprofessional to sit with them or drink with them. Whoever is responsible for hiring and scheduling this restaurant's staff needs to put someone responsible to handle nights, especially at the bar. Putting a bunch of 20 something's in charge is like putting the prisoners in charge of the prison. The total uncaring attitude and unprofessionalism of,the staff ruined this restsurant. read more

Stopped by last night with my mom. After being sat at a dirty table with food all over the floor, waited 15/20 minutes to get a drink and another 30 minutes for food. It's wasn't busy, but maybe understaffed. Got two salads with shrimp. The shrimp was cold and the salads were tiny and nothing like the picture - definitely not worth the price whatsoever. I was given a check before I even finished eating, which is never appropriate. I go to the bathroom and wish I hadn't - not only was the bathroom dirty, I got a look at the kitchen. Oh my god. I wish I hadn't eaten there at this point. About 3 hours later I was so beyond sick to my stomach that I didn't even make it home from where I was - I had to make 2 stops. This place used to be clean and family friendly... it'll go out of business soon if it continues this way. Never again! read more

Not certain why others feel the need to bash an establishment, as if they're expecting to be treated in a way different than anywhere else. In my case, when I arrived, I was given a choice to where I could sit...being alone tonight. So, I chose a hightop and was greeted by Victoria who took a drink order and then discussed the healthiest options that weren't packed with lots of unnecessary calories. She was an outstanding waitress and the food was delicious...having chosen the Ribeye with 1/2 shrimp order and two vegetables. Upon entering the establishment, my party guests and I were informed of a potential 25-30 minute wait for an establishment with less than stellar reviews; we were shocked and appalled. However, our precisely 23 minute wait was filled with meditation and a crisp walk into the nearby trailer park to clear out minds. Upon reentry, we were greeted by a wonderful host and a waitress with a mysterious backstory and an artistically masterful tattoo. Our stay had made a complete 180. We were enthused at the prospect of this waitress and her alluring presence. The food was good. Upon the completion of our meal and the fulfillment of our payment duties, we began the trek out of the establishment. The first step was promising, the rest of them followed suit. The journey was long and arduous, at least 15 steps. With vision of tattoos and south western egg rolls dancing in our heads, we reached the door, grasped the chili pepper shaped handle, and exited to a brisk Saturday evening air. The drive home was uneventful. When we got home, we dabbled in a number of table tennis matches and enjoyed a chocolate mousse dessert, rivaled in deliciousness only by the Chili's signature coconut margarita, which honestly was ok. read more
