Decided to give this location a try and it wasn't bad. We were seated right away, not busy at all. I ordered a half rack dry rub ribs and the cheesy fries and my husband ordered a burger. No complaints on either. We also enjoyed the $5 Peach Gran Mara margarita. From what our waiter said each month there is a new flavor. That'll keep you coming back. Went in to specifically support St. Jude's. Sat in the lounge area for full view of all the TV's and openess. We were disappointed right out of the gates because of instead of being served it felt like the guy was just an order taker. Did not deliver either our appetizer or our meals. Didn't come back to see if we needed anything until he brought the bill. We love this place so we'll be back, but hope we have someone who cares about taking care of people. read more

Outstanding service! It only took 20minutes to get our drink orders, 45 minutes to get silverware. The waitstaff obviously doesn't have bills to pay, which gives them plenty of time to do nothing at work. So I have mixed reviews which is why it is not a 1 star. The lounge area was nice, bartender was pleasant drink was good. The to-go area was strongly lacking. Text not sent out when food was ready and was cold even though we were there. On the positive side manager was understanding and offered to re-cook but we are on a time line. He did offer gift cards which I gave to those waiting for the food. So there was positives and negatives. If you have a to-go order I strongly advise you keep on top of your time. read more

The wait took longer than expected, but that was because we had a big order. Once the food arrived everything was top notch. I did witness one of the waitresses playing with her hair, which to me is disgusting. She could've gone in the restroom for that. Other than that. Everything came out hot, the loaded mashed potatoes was delicious I could eat that all day, the steak was done perfectly, shrimp was a bit burnt, but nothing drastic and the broccoli was really soft. Horrible service! The meat used in the burgers is too high in fat content like they use a 75/25 ground beef instead of a 90/10. Beware if you enjoy your burger medium rare, it'll be extremely greasy and it makes everything fall apart. Our server was pretty much non-existent then used the excuse that he got caught up in the back helping in the kitchen. You're wait staff, not kitchen staff. We got the managers attention, but even after that it didn't speed anything up. This location has steadily declined. If you want to wait over 30 min for your food Shula a very large loud family see it impossible to hear your table guest and inte other side a brat that I almost ask the mother if she wanted to borrow my belt. Then when your food finally arrives my sizzling fajitas were less than sizzling. The meat was tough, the black beans were cold the rice was terrible the other two guest had similar reactions. I love Chili's but was so disappointed in this location. I sat waiting for a server for 10 min and it was not until I went to the hostess station did I get a server. We ordered the 2 for 1 margaritas and the chips and salsa and that was the last time we saw our server. Our drinks and appetizer were delivered by runners. After we finished our drinks and the bowl of chips and salsa we logged into the Ziosk on the table and paid. We were never given the opportunity to order a meal. Checking in at front kiosk to get on waiting list is a joke. Tables in bar area not getting bussed, so you are not sure of someone is sitting there, or if you should ask for it to be cleared so you can sit. waited for 20 minutes which was fine and expected. After sitting down noticed that a 3rd of the restaurant was open because of father daughter night area. Not a very efficient system... The waitress we had was great and very accommodating. I ordered a happy hour long island iced tea, and it tasted weird, like there was pineapple juice in it...not good. I made eye contact with the manager several times, but he seemed pretty incompetent...I told the waitress about the drink, and I opted for the presidente margarita. We ordered an appetizer of loaded cheese fries. The cheese was so overcooked that it was just crunchy..not cheesy Burnt of you will. We were all hungry, and just ate it. We ordered burgers medium rare, and they came out well done. Since I had already complained about the drink, my wife told me not to complain again. The waitress was very nice, and good at her job. I was kind of disappointed that the manager never came around even after I saw the waitress tell and show him about my messed up drink. It's called Chilis, yet doesn't have any chili or hot sauce as standard table condiments. The bowls of chili are gloopy, too thick and not very tasty. Much of the menu is deep fried, and the meat is not organic, free range or antibiotic free. The table service is good and the wait times are reasonable. Just bland, uninspiring food. read more

My family and I typically come here at least once a week. The customer service is almost always bad. Slow service, rude wait staff, waitresses sitting with friends and talking loudly about how much they hate working here... We love Chili's food and that's why we keep coming back. We always order the cheese fries and about 50% of the time, we have to send them back because they are cold or stale or have sat in the back too long. Also, their serving size on their "full order" looks like most Chili's "half order." I use their kiosk to pay and almost always leave a review about the poor service, but nothing ever changes. So, I added the location to Yelp so I can leave a public review. Tonight has been no different. Rude hostess, stale cheese fries, slow service, but our waiter is nice so that's a plus. My salmon obviously sat in the back for a long time and my broccoli was cold. The avocados on my wife's salad were not fresh. ANOTHER bad experience at Chili's in Fleming Island! read more

An absolutely horrible visit to the Fleming Island Chili's. We were sat immediately, however, 15 minutes later we placed a drink order because no server ever came by. After ordering food we sat at the table trying to entertain an 18 month old for over an hour before anything came out. When our food did come out it all came out at separate times, and not all of the items asked for (sour cream) was ever provided. I'd love to name the waitress by name but due to barely seeing her I couldn't tell you who she was. I'm unsure if management is on a day off but it was clear that the kitchen and wait staff did not care about the folks sitting in their dining room. I noticed multiple tables around us all waiting on food, so it wasn't just our table and our experience. Safe to say we can do without Chili's...especially this location! read more

Service was extremely slow for a not busy lunch. Waitress seemed unhappy and not very attentive. Food also took too an extremely long time to get even the salad out. Waitress didn't ask if we needed refills until the end of the meal. This seemed to be the problem through out the restaurant. Not sure if it was a manager problem or staffing problem. Service at the bar on a Friday night wasn't good. I wish I had gotten the bartenders name; but he didn't share it. He did have a short hair cut with old fashioned type brown glasses. He was average to short and thin build. He paid no attention whatsoever to anyone over 30. When a couple young women came in; he did everything he could but jump over the counter to hang out with them. I overheard him talking about his CD he just cut; so he is obviously an aspiring musician. He spoke to another younger female patron about he would like to work at something besides what he was doing; perhaps start a business. It was obvious he didn't want to be there and was merely collecting a paycheck. My Grilled chicken salad had cold chicken. He just wanted to bring hot chicken on the side and I guess me eating cold chicken was fine with him! By the time he returned with a new salad; my husband was half done with his meal. We had a terrible experience there last Sat. afternoon. The table we were seated at, was wobbling badly at the base. Our server got irritated when we asked to move. We ordered an appetizer that was delivered by a kitchen helper who became indignant when we asked for plates and utensils. Evidently, our server neglected to get them for us and I was informed it's not the job of the kitchen helpers. After that was resolved, we placed our meal order and waited an hour. Meanwhile, 5 tables near us, who came in after us, were served. When I finally asked the manager about our order, he told me they'd had some type of equipment malfunction in the kitchen. He personally brought out our order a few minutes later. The food was not hot, but warm and some of it was cold. The manager offered my grandson a free desert. We never touched the table kiosk, but after I paid, I noticed I was charged $2 for table entertainment. It wasn't worth arguing about, but it just solidified my low opinion of this Chili's. They did appear to be short handed but every staff member we had contact with had a lousy attitude and the service was just horrible. My wife and I both noted that the bathrooms were disgusting (it looked like snot stuck to the wall above the urinal). For the same money, go down the road to Ruby Tuesday's for similar food and way better service. read more

After waiting for 30 min a person who was not our server told my husband they were out of what he ordered. After making adjustments to his order with something he didn't want...we waited another 15 min for our meal. Our meal arrives and my son's steak was rare, his potatoes on a completely cold skillet and his broccoli was not even room temp. My burger looked like it had sat under a heat lamp until the cheese had a dried up film over it. My husbands meal was also room temp. We sat there for 10 min not eating our food and nobody asked us if we were ok. I got up and asked for a manager only to be told he was too busy. Finally the hostess told us we could leave without paying...which we have never done in our life! Sucked so bad I cannot give it anything but 1/2 star but it won't let me.
